Dear journal – [/i]. Even the weird mutes know better than to waste time with Severus Snape, right? But, anyway, turns out all those rumors about her are, shockingly, untrue, and she can speak just fine. She’s even a bit snarky, which I found amusing. I didn’t know she would have a wit about her, but I guess that’s what I get for listening to rumors. If rumors were true, I’d be a vampire of some kind. So that was my mistake. Well, she can talk, and she’s really not as bad as people said. I know a few members of my house dislike her, but… I don’t know. I don’t see anything particularly hate-inducing about her. Not yet, anyway. We only had one conversation. I can’t say I know everything about her. I wonder why she spent so much time avoiding me before, but was fine with talking to me today? I don’t think I’ll ever understand girls, even ones I just met. She said she needed help in potions, which, honestly, I found a bit perplexing since we’re not doing a tough potion right now. However, I offered to help her so I suppose we’re going to meet up in the dungeons to work on it. I already have a way of making this potion nice and simple, so I don’t think there’s going to be much trouble. I’m not a very good teacher, and I get frustrated easily, so the sooner we can get this done, the better. Still, it’s so weird… I thought she was good with potions… but why would she lie about something like that? I’m just being paranoid. That’s new and different for me. [/ul] - Severus Snape |
