when it comes to friends, bellatrix seems to be lacking in that department. it really doesn’t come as a surprise. there are very few people she trusts, very few people she would confide in. despite that, bellatrix enjoys being in a large group of like minded people, so it’s likely she’d be reasonably close to slytherins around her own age. enemies for bellatrix? probably the majority of the hogwarts population. she hates mudbloods and blood traitors and treats them like dirt. she’s very quick to cast a curse or a hex on anyone, and absolutely loves getting into arguments. she’ll go out of her way to annoy someone, just to get a reaction out of them. after all, it’s only a bit of fun right? when it comes to lovers, all of bellatrix's attention is focused on a certain fellow seventh year, not that she'd ever admit it. it would never occur to her to look at others, but that doesn't stop anybody else trying. basically, bellatrix is up for any idea, so just let me know!

I think Bellatrix would love to have someone she could manipulate and use to her advantage, especially with Lloyd being one of the older students, so it's not always the younger students she's threatening. I like the detention idea you mentioned in your PM, that could be very interesting indeed!

I can't see Bellatrix being too happy that someone isn't at least intimidated by her, so yeah, I think she would go out of her way to try and make him at least wary of her. Or at least lock him in a dark room or something. You never know.

Genis and Bellatrix: Unlike Lloyd, Genis is going to be hard to manipulate. Because of his intelligence, he'll probably easily see through her lies. And he's kind of got Raine for protection since she's his sister AND just so happens to be a Professor. That doesn't mean he'd be impossible to control, just ....a challenge. He's also the only third year so that's fun. XD

Raine and Bellatrix: Unless Bellatrix takes Ancient Runes, I don't see these two interacting too much. If you've any ideas, I've got my plot page. But maybe Bellatrix would try to get in good with her for ....other motives. But since Raine isn't a very trusting person, it'll be tough.

Gilderoy and Bellatrix: Oh. My. God. These two probably hated each other the moment they saw one another. Gilderoy and Bellatrix being in the same room will most likely result in a duel within five minutes. Gilderoy's a sissy though, so he'd probably lose. XD

Oh and Lloyd and Luke sound GREAT. Any one you'd like to do, just let me know. I've no problem starting them.

I think at one point, Bellatrix might have tried to stay on Severus’ good side, simply because she’s more than aware of his talents with Potions and the Dark Arts. But as you said, I think it could have developed into something resembling a friendship, or least each of them being comfortable in the other person’s company. And I can see Bellatrix feeling a little protective over Severus, but not really wanting to show it. Let me know if that sounds alright?

I think it'd be cute if these two were childhood friends, as in, she used to have Sirius wrapped around her little finger. Up until he started school... i suspect Pad's just went along with everything his parent's said, and by extension, everything Bella said.
When he started school however... he gained some sense... aaanndddd the hatred started. She was no longer his 'fun cousin Bella' but 'future death eater Bellatrix' >.<

So we sort of already knew where this is going. Enemies. Bella already hates her for the simple fact that she's a mudblood and might try to torture her once in a while. Because ya know we all love to be evil to our characters I think, after last year's famous incident, Bella might hate her even more for cutting off her friendship with Severus.

Hailey and Bella

Well I can already tell this is going to be fun. Hailey is a pureblood whose been sorted into Ravenclaw. All of her family has, or is, in Slytherin. I think they would have known each other from childhood. From all the pureblood parties and all that stuff. With Rod in tow in torturing her, maybe Bella could do the same thing if she feels up for it.

Oh yes, obviously Bellatrix hates her anyway, but the fact that she's made Severus so distraught would only mean that Bellatrix would hate her even more. So yes, if the two of them come across each other in a dark corridor I can definitely see some sort of 'injury' happening to Lily! Although I can maybe see Bella exaggerating Severus' involvement in the Dark Arts around Lily, in an extra attempt to make sure their friendship never recovers?

i think bellatrix is that one person mare's trully afraid of. even more than mulciber, and she has reasons to fear him. anyway, mare's a little ball of muggleborn sunshine, so i figure her mere existence would annoy bellatrix right? in her defense i'd like to add that whenever she sees bellatrix around she just turns the other way and runs xD 'scary slytherin alert! abort! abort!' but i think the two of them would be fun to thread out eventually with bellatrix being... well, bellatrix and mare trying to act brave even though she'd be scared out of her wits.
