Alex has a rather cold personality. Behind that though, she can be sweet. Most of the time, she's indifferent and doesn't show her emotions. She is very sarcastic and she'll only give you respect if you've earned it in her eyes. Suffice to say, not many have. It helps if your friends with her family though. Her elder brother especially, she tends to follow. He's the biggest influence in her life, with her father second. Her mother and elder sister are third. Though she doesn't plan to become a Death Eater, she'll support them, because that's what her brother follows.

Alex isn't really good with making friends. She's not very sociable, and mostly hangs out with people she knows via her brother. She has some close friends that she likes, and some fakes that she doesn't. Best friends, she would have one or two, but no more. She's big on trust, honesty, and people who are similar to her; so, if you have those characteristics, she'll most likely get along with you. Even if you are her best friend, she'll still keep things from you, so don't be surprised there.

Since her elder brother and father are the biggest influences in her life, Alex doesn't date much. And when she does, it's usually with her brother's approval of her date. She adores her elder brother like no other, and if he doesn't think your good enough, then she won't bother going out with you. However, there will be those few that she'll go on a date with if she really likes them, even if her brother says no. She doesn't go around though, and much like her friends, she values trust and honesty in her relationships.

The enemy of her family is her enemy. She has a bit of a chance that she'll have enemies all on her own simply because of her attitude. It isn't snobby or anything like that, but more of a cold attitude towards people. So, if you don't like that, then you probably won't like her. Also, include in the enemy of her brother, sister or parents, and you'll be an enemy of hers. Though, if she likes you enough, you may not be. Don't count on it though.

since she seems to have a rather slytherin-like personality and her brother is an aspiring death eater(?) or at least a supporter of them, i assume these two could get along. at least she wouldn't be one of the people that rod went around cursing. and if she's spent a lot of time hanging around with slytherins over the years then i expect they will have bumped into each other on several occasions.

i don't see much of a friendship here. james would definitely dislike her brother and i don't think he'd be particularly fond of alex's cold exterior either so dislike on the cards? i can see james attempting a 'melt the ice princess' mission or something lol because i reckon he'd see a bit of good in alex since she's been placed in ravenclaw.

Yeah, at least, I'm going by the canon list on this one. It says her brother is a future death eater, so...yeah. I'm just going by that. ^^

But, she does hang out with him and his friends a lot, so I'd think they'd end up running into each other in the five years she's been at Hogwarts. Hmm, I'd think that Rod would probably have gained her respect sometime or another. Unless he hasn't already? Well, that would probably be a big difference with how she acts around him. But I'm thinking acquaintances.

I think the dislike would be mutual. James is outgoing, popular and a prankster, correct? Well, to Alex, that just screams loud and annoying. Besides, I don't think her Slytherin friends and siblings would be too fond of him, so she wouldn't either.

Haha, that'd be fun to do. I think Alex would really get annoyed with him, but she isn't all that bad. XD If he did try that, she'd probably try and ignore him or just avoid him altogether just so he won't try again. After all, that coldness is a mask, and she doesn't want it exposed. Especially to a Gryffindor that her brother would most likely dislike.

So here I have Miss Hailey Thomas. I think these two would probably relate to each other. Hailey was born into an old pureblood family but got sorted into Ravenclaw while her family house was Slytherin. I think these two would have known each other in the past and would have probably 'reunited' in Ravenclaw.

Lily and Alex

I think that these two would probably be mutual enemies. But I also think that Lily would have some respect for Alex since she is a Ravenclaw and of course we all know that Lily tries to see the good in people.

Yeah, mutual enemies. I don't think Alex would particularly like how Lily is a bit of a 'know-it-all' and rule enforcer. She'd respect that Lily is probably one of the smartest in her year, but she wouldn't like Lily in general.

I think Alex would rather like Severus' quiet personality as well. Since they're rather similar in that aspect, Alex would get along with him. I think they'd have more of an academic relationship though. Help me with this and I'll help you with that. You know?

Well, if Kendra is always so nosy, I can see Alex getting annoyed by her. As in, get out of my face annoyed. She wouldn't like Kendra at all. Alex would probably want to hex her off Ravenclaw tower. Though she wouldn't actually; unlike some people, she actually feels guilt. She'd still hex Kendra though, just nothing big. XP

-- here is alex's big sis. i know that the two of them aren't as close as alex is with her brother, but they still have some sort of good relationship. i don't know if you have any ideas for plots yet, but perhaps something could happen to one of them and they turn to the other? maybe something happens and aralynn ends up coming to alex to alex's surprise? i'm not sure, i'm just spewing ideas. if you have any other ideas, shoot them out!

She may not be as close to Aralynn as she is to their brother, but Alex does love her big sis. <3 She's the one Alex goes to for boy troubles, when their brother doesn't approve or something. Anything girly and whatnot, Aralynn is the first Alex would go to, then she'd probably owl their mum. But I do have a plot for them! It's kind of from another thread with Lockheart, but it seems as if Alex is a bit clueless about dating. XD I would love if Aralynn and Alex had a thread on that; just talking and Alex bringing up 'spending time' with Lockheart in the morning of the next Hogsmeade weekend, and Aralynn inferring it was a date. And Alex not realizing it still, so Aralynn has to be the big sister and tell her about what it means. Possibly even be protective of Alex? Let me know what you think lovely!
