Rita is the Queen of Gossip. At Sixteen, she has already made a name for herself as...one of the most hated and untrustworthy people at Hogwarts. She's spoiled absolutely rotton, and thinks everyone should worship the ground she walks on... but anyone with a mind wouldn't. She exploits the people who get close to her, to feed her dumb readers the juice of delicious gossip. She worries not a wit about who she hurts to get what she want... But if you are the kind of person who appreciates evil, cunning, and good looks... you'll get along great
the friends
Rita does need some friends though. Some that are just about as awful as she is, or people she can easily manipulate. She loves having people to do her dirty work for her, so someone who is rather naïve and trusting would be a good match for her.
the lovers
Rita appreciates men that are strong and dominant. She likes them to be cunning, clever, and about as evil as she is. She also likes to be treated like a princess, so someone who will shower her in compliments and gifts would work as well. If you could put all of them together you would have Rita’s perfect man. Though, Rita will often use her sex appeal to use men to her advantage… she needs a man that will bring her down to earth though, this man is her betrothed he is currently wanted
the enemies
An easier feat would be to find someone who doesn't hate her. Rita gets on too many peoples bad sides with the stuff she prints. People can hardly trust anything that comes out of her mouth so she tends to have more enemies than friends… not to mention the fact that she thinks she’s better than most people.

I actually see Balthazar and Rita getting along PERFECTLY. With Balthazar's skills at pickpocketing and thievery, he'd easily be her right hand man and best friend and maybe even eventually her lover. He's evil, cunning, manipulative, he'd spoil her rotten just as much as he was spoiled and he'd treat her like a princess, but at the same time he'd let her know when she was going too far and might get herself into trouble.
Genis and Rita would be enemies. I can see her seeing him as a challenge, since Genis is such a private and clever person and since his sister is a Professor, maybe Rita would see any scandals she can print about the two of them the crowning moment of her career or something.
Raine and Rita: Since she's a Professor, don't think these two would interact outside the classroom unless Rita was given a detention and then Raine would subject her to her favorite form of punishment. XD Enchanted water buckets.
Gilderoy and Rita: Enemies, mainly because Gilderoy would LOVE to lie to her and see just how much she does believe.
Lloyd and Ria: Enemies, but since Lloyd's so....adorably stupid, she'd probably get a lot of information out of him, except when it comes to Raine and Genis. Then he's air tight. Anything else he's easily fooled into talking about.

If you notice my rp sample is one of our old threads xD but yes best friends, eventually lovers.. These two can never seem to stay apart from one another can they xD.. Maybe her parents betroth her to him?
Rita/Genis: ooooh she would work her tiny ass off to get as much out of him as possible.

hate, hate, hate and hate! i imagine rita has had a lot to write about james over the past few years what with his obvious attempts to woo lily and james does not like it! he does not like her, he does not like what she does and he does not like that she is a Slytherin. he avoids her at all costs and tries to ruin her appearance from afar.

rod here on the other hand has nothing against her as long as she doesn’t write about him. if he was feeling particularly vindictive he’d even hand her some gossip, only in exchange for something in return though, because he’s a Slytherin and he always has himself in mind xD he’s everything she finds attractive and she’s everything he finds attractive so i imagine a lot of flirting going on here?

rod/rita Rita is a smart girl, she doesn't write things about people with power....especially purebloods because well, she is one. She would DEFINATELY flirt with him, and I can imagine them having some very interesting conversations. She's too smart to cross him or bella though. Luke and Rita: Enemies and Luke would probably really get on her nerves since he'd not only totally ignore Rita, but probably use his gymnastics and fighting skills to evade her when she gets pissed off enough to hex him. XD

-- well if rita is good friends with balthazar, and also sleeps with him the odd time. i would assume she would be pretty good friends with aralynn as well. aralynn is manipulative and persuasive and does love a good gossip. i don't know if they would have an off-limit policy if they were to stay friends or what because aralynn would not tolerate her secrets being split by rita. that is unless she has dirt on rita as well. let me know how you think their relationship would work because aralynn is pretty loyal to those who are loyal to her but she would not worship rita. she is confident and determined and would not see herself under rita. but they definitely could be an asset to one another and find fun over gossiping about others.

I'm pretty sure they are good friends as well but Rita gets a tad possessive over the men she wants..and rita/balty are betrothed so i'm sure she would not be happy to find out that Lynn is having a good time with him too xD haha but if she didn't know then they could be thick as thieves.

-- awesome then! they could definitely be besties. it would definitely be interesting if say rita knew that aralynn had slept with balthazar in the past and that they were close, but then when rita and balthazar become betrothed what that would mean for all their relationships. and whether or not rita and balthazar were exclusive and if they really did develop feelings for one another and where that would leave aralynn. it would be interesting if rita developed feelings for balthazar that he didn't know about, nor did aralynn and then aralynn and balthazar slept together and how that would make rita feel. or something like that. we could definitely have some drama if you're interested. |
