there's no escape WORDS ? OUTFIT CLICK TAGGED LILY NOTES OH, HAI it was something like, seeing himself, imprinted in the pages of the book. his eyes narrowed slightly at the image of the snarling werewolf, with cleverly distinctive remarks on its feeding habits and human characteristics. he pursed his lips, sighed heavily, and closed the book, leaning back and placing his hands on his face as he closed his eyes.
lily was never late. especially during the meetings she initiates with him.
so, to pass the time, he'd thought to do himself some light reading, and stumbled across a book that a student had obviously forgotten to put back. most likely a third year; learning about what he was was not only enlightening. it had also been veraciously entertaining as hell. save for the part where his fellow beings were depicted in most unfortunate circumstances crossing roads with humans; perhaps those pictures were the case. that, he didn't much agree with.
he looked down to his watch with a sigh, running both hands through his hair as he leaned forward, reaching for his bag to the right and taking out the small parchment that cited lily's and james' name on top, with tally marks below it. those, were for the many times that lily had used remus as her cooler in the subject of his obsessed friend. and he had to say, even he couldn't believe how many times he'd been able to put up with it.
then again, he could only imagine how it was to start fire with lily evans, especially in prongs' shoes.
he lifted his eyes in front of him, running his gaze along the tall bookshelf in front of him, before looking to his right with no particular interest, finding a smiling, feminine face staring at him from across the room. he tried for a polite smile in reply, but suddenly dropped it when thundering footsteps started sounding from the entrance of the library.
it was a sudden moment of confusion, followed by a frown of realization. reluctantly, he reached for a quill and drew a quick vertical line beside the other vertical lines, before shoving his things in his bag.
he'd have to remember to thank prongs later.

--------------------------------I think I'm falling in love with you My heart is beating faster than I want it to--------------------------------- Okay, so today wasn’t the perfect day for Lily. Her mood, and patience, was already worn thin and it wasn’t even the evening hours. She tried to stop a nasty prank from being pulled by none other than James and Sirius. The result was not a pleasant one. Half of the Gryffindor common room destroyed and Professor McGonagall was already there seeing that they would put everything back where it was. She would think that Potter would have been using his common sense but no. Needless to say it was annoying as hell. Especially after what had happened between them at the courtyard a few weekends ago. He had promised not to do anything rash or idiotic. She had agreed to go on a date after she had made sure he was serious. “Bloody hell Potter,” she muttered under her breath as she gathered up her books and put them in her bag. “Show some sense. You’re nothing but a show off.” She took a deep breath and made her everything was nice and neat in the dorms before heading off. At least he had stopped asking her out. Well…sort of. She had noticed that he did seem to calm down a bit after their encounter. Only a bit. Too bad it could not have been more.
The red haired girl glanced around the common room. She smirked slightly at the stern look on McGonagall’s face. The Professor didn’t seem at all too pleased about this. She walked past the two boys and out of the common room. The sixth year didn’t stop and talk. She had a little meeting with Remus. Both of them had actually gotten along quite well. Lily was surprised to find that he wasn’t like James and Sirius. That was a good thing she supposed. It meant that she had someone to talk to about books and classes. Interesting things that the two boys could not simply be bothered about. Really, sometimes Lily would talk with Remus for hours. It was just the way they were. One of the subjects that came up constantly was James. Lily knew that it was pretty much horrible the way she was always venting at Remus about his friend. A sigh escaped from her lips as she ran a hand over her hair. Oh well she would just have to apologize later. And besides, Remus might make Potter stop acting like a complete idiot. The thought alone had made her snort. A couple of students had looked at her as if she was crazy. She grinned all good natured at them.
They relaxed before heading off. For the first time she paid attention to her surroundings. She was on the fourth floor. Right where the library was. She blinked a couple of times in surprise before continuing on her way. She pushed a couple of stands that had managed to fall in her eyes as she entered the library. The librarian looked at her and smiled before returning to her work. Lily glanced around before seeing Remus and walked to him. “Sorry I’m late Remus. You wouldn’t believe what Potter and Black just did to the common room!” Really, she should have started off with a greeting but she was frustrated. “They destroyed half of it because of their stupid immature pranks!” Her cheeks turning red she breathed in deeply. there's no escape WORDS ? OUTFIT CLICK TAGGED LILY NOTES HURPDERP normally, lily made it a habit to exaggerate her tales of the dynamic duo, but judging from her flushed cheeks, burning eyes, and a need to spit out the burning irritation inside her chest inside a library were evidents enough to know that she was, in fact, describing the exact descriptions of what had exactly transpired. his eyes widened at the impact of her words, feeling weakened by each second her glare burned on his face. what excuse was he to give to her for their shortcomings this time? it was unfortunate that the two pranksters acted on impulse; it made it harder for him to cover them up.
he tried for a faint smile, a slight knowing and tease in his eyes. despite her aggrivation, lily had an uncanny ability of revealing her truest emotions whenever her emerald eyes would flicker. he often wondered why her, instead of others. and then he would think, that why not her? she had presence that could not be ignored, and only so fueled by her amazing wit and possessed a rare gift of seeing the beauty in others, when they themselves, could not see it. he often wondered if she ever saw the way severus looked at her, the way james would. such an unkind, cruel fate to twist the slytherin's heart. well, i believe i can believe that, lily, he replied in humour, in attempts to lessen the frustration radiating from her. not their worst stunt, i suppose. he shrugged lightly, gesturing for her to take a seat next to him with a questioning look. was it really safe for him to hold up an angry female inside the most quiet place in the castle?
it was all he could do for the time being, while placing a knowing smile on his face. he did want to ask what had triggered her change of heart for james, but he wasn't entirely sure how he would say it put it nicely. but, from reading his smile, perhaps she'd get the gist.

--------------------------------I think I'm falling in love with you My heart is beating faster than I want it to--------------------------------- The red haired girl quirked an eyebrow at him. “Not their worst?” She repeated with anger. To give him credit Lily wasn’t angry at him. Oh no. She was angry at the two idiot boys. “I believe that tops it off as the worst they did. McGonagall was in the common room when I left. She was making sure that they had restored everything to the place.” There was a small smile on her lips now. She breathed in and out deeply. Really, to some people Lily would be getting upset over nothing. That was the way James and Sirius usually acted. And that was a bit unfortunate in itself. A shy smile was suddenly on her as she sat down next to him. Oh the effects of a mood swing. It went well with Lily. The old saying, red heads have an even greater temper could hold true to the sixth year Gryffindor. She could hold a shouting match for hours. That had proven to fact a few days ago when Lily was arguing with James over something that she didn’t even remember now.
“They’re acting rather immature for their age.” There it was again. Complaining to him about his two friends. It seemed like her mouth had a mind of its own. She ran a hand through her hair. She could almost hear her mother and sister coming out of her mouth, “They’re sixteen years old and one year away from graduating Hogwarts. They should really think about the future at hand. Especially with the upcoming war on the horizon….” Lily let her voice trailed off as she looked at him seriously. Both of them were in danger if, by some reason, Lord Voldemort had won. She was a muggleborn and a Gryffindor to boot. Hell, her whole family was in danger because of her status in the wizarding world. It really wasn’t that fair but who would listen to her rant about something like that? She propped her elbow on the table and rested her chin on her hand, staring at him with a tired expression. She shook her head. At this moment it was hard to tell which was redder, her hair or her face.
She was feeling guilty and she was right for a reason. “I’m sorry for being like this Remus.” Lily told him in a soft voice. She could feel all the anger melting away. “I’m sorry for going on and ranting about the two idiots.” The sixteen year old girl looked at her best friend carefully and smiled softly. “James and I sort of had an encounter in the courtyard. And one thing led to another. I…sort of agreed to go on a date with him. Course I told him if he screws up that it would be it.” Lily had only told a couple of people. She had threatened them not to tell. The whole school would be in shock to learn that she had given them a chance. It was this that Lily had decided to tell Remus, knowing that he wouldn’t tell anyone. “Everyone will be shocked I’m sure. To see us out and about without arguing and me red in the face from yelling. I suppose this is a good thing for him.” [/blockquote] Tagged!? Remus! Words!? 545 Notes!? Lemme know if anything needs to be changed hun. I apologize for the lateness! Credit!?
