------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Most of the castle was in ruins as the Death Eaters started to rounded up the muggleborns and blood traitors. They were being brought in the Great Hall, perhaps one of the few places that had not managed to fall. Their shrieks and pleads for mercy sent shivers down one’s spine. A brown haired girl was quietly moving away from it all. She was running down the hallways, trying desperately to find at least one classroom that had not collapsed. She was a target because she was a blood traitor. Her status as a pureblood might had saved her from this situation. But that was before the sorting hat had declared Hailey Thomas a Ravenclaw. She didn’t want to get caught. She made sure to make little noise as possible. She was shaking as tears dripped down her face. The Headmaster was dead. The Dark Lord had won. He had taken control of the wizarding world and the Ministry. Her breath caught in her throat as she lost her footing and fell. Hailey flinched as she quickly scrambled to her feet and continued on her way. She saw a classroom with the door in perfect working condition. She made a dash for it and slammed it shut, locking it behind her. Unknown to her, she was being followed by the people that she had once called her family.
“Come out, come out where ever you are,” That voice belonged to none other than her brother Zachary. Hailey shivered with complete fright. “Your precious headmaster had fallen! Now we’re in control!”
“Come out and you will suffer less pain,” The second voice belonged to her father. Her sister was nowhere to be seen. Her stomach sank. That could only mean one thing. She was supporting the dark side now. Knowing she had no choice, Hailey rose quietly and walked over to the door. She stopped a few feet from it as it blasted open. Her father stood there, a crazy look shown in his brown eyes.
“What are you waiting for?” Kevin demanded, reaching out to grab his daughter. “Your master is waiting for you.”
Hailey brought herself out of her memories as two Death Eaters were carrying her down to her cell. Their grip had tightened on her upper arm and she winced. Her eyes revealing nothing to what she was thinking right now. She was still in disbelief at how Lord Voldemort had taken control of the wizarding world. All of this took three years. The eighteen year old was at an interview for a position at St. Mungo’s when word had gotten out that Hogwarts was attacked. Everyone rushed to defend the castle. Dumbledore was dead. Most of her classmates, the ones who hadn’t been caught, were in hiding. Everything was in chaos. “Bet you feel really good about yourself now blood traitor,” One of them drawled. Hailey didn’t dare answer as Anthony Mulciber tightened his grip on her arm. “Get ready for your new future as a slave. Might as well have been born a Mudblood,” Both of them laughed as Hailey stared straight ahead. Anyone….anyone but Rodolphus Lestrange. Once she saw him as her father had dragged her over she tried to break free. Kevin ended up smacking her over the head. They had apparently made a bargain. She was trapped.
“Where did Lestrange want her?” Mulciber asked his partner. “Down in the lower cells. He said he was in his study,” Her stomach sank as she knew there wouldn’t be nowhere out of this. She had been largely staying out of Rodolphus’s way ever since the incident in her fifth year. He had broken her then. He’ll break her again and this time there would be no one to help her. No Sirius threatening to kill him and no James to actually comfort her. She was brought out of her memories as she was thrown hard into the cell. She flinched as she hit the stone cold floor. Mulciber kicked her in her ribs as he looked up to the other one. “Come on. Let’s go warn Lestrange that she’s here.” They left, closing the door behind them, leaving Hailey with nothing but memories.
*~*
There were only three people in Rodolphus’s study. A blonde haired girl was pacing up and down. Every now and then she would throw dark looks at him. Her eyes were an icy blue, taking after her mother. The brown haired man leaned up against the wall comfortably. “If you dare lay a hand on her Lestrange I swear I’ll cut it off,” Reila Thomas threatened. Zach snorted. It was clear that Reila felt guilty about not listening to her sister. But there was nothing she could do now. As far as she was concerned she was on the winning side. She was safe. “Why are you trying to protect her Rei?” Zach asked. “The blood traitor doesn’t deserve protection.” Reila was about to reply with a snappy retort when the door opened up. The two Death Eaters strolled in. “We brought her.” Anthony commented as Reila glowered heavily at him. “She’s down in the lower cells, chained up just like you wanted.” The group turned over to Rodolphus, waiting for his answer. TURN THE LIGHTS OUT LAY YOUR HEAD DOWN NOW YOU GOT ME WHERE YOUwant me i'm the pain and you're the pleasure i've got A O N E T R A C K M I N D It was all slightly surreal. They’d been plotting this for months and months, years really and it had finally all happened. They’d succeeded. The Dark Lord was in control. Just that thought sent tingles down Rodolphus Lestrange’s spine. All that he had worked for, all that he had suffered through had been for something. For this moment. Success, glorious, sweet success. And it had all been so easy. They’d been confident that they would pull it off, it was a bit of a coup, no doubt about that but they believed in themselves. And yet, they’d expected to face more resistance. A little bit more of a sturdy defence. But the death eaters had barged it down. And now, Rod was revelling in his success, in the huge part he’d played in this plan, the Dark Lord had promised to reward him greatly.
Currently he was waiting for just one small part of his reward. He stood lazily in his study, ignoring the glares he was receiving from Reila Thomas. He had his arms folded neatly across his chest, one foot resting on the wall behind him. He was content enough even with the blood traitor’s sister threatening him. Rod raised his eyebrows at her. ”You were never this quick to defend her. I don’t believe your words therefore are very meaningful.” If Reila cared so much about her sister she would be attempting to slit Rod’s throat right about now but all she did was pace like a caged tiger. She was evidently feeling guilty, she loved her sister a lot more than the males in their family did, but it wasn’t enough. It never had been. The Thomas family hadn’t been able to stick together like the Lestrange’s. His brother, Rabastan, was currently in the same situation as Rod – owner of a great mansion, wealthy, powerful, winners.
Rod, loving being the centre of their looks, smirked to the room at large. They were all waiting for his answer. Even having this small amount of power made his ego boost considerably. Leisurely, he lifted himself from his stance against the wall, dropping his foot to the floor. ”If any of you see Bella, send her down.” That was all he said, looking each one of them in the eye to make sure his orders were to be obeyed before exiting the room and making his way to the cellars. He pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lighting it up with his wand. It wasn’t of the Muggle variety, Merlin no. But it was effectively the same. As he pushed open the gate that led down to the dungeons, hearing it creak ominously, a broad smirk broke out onto his face. His boots trod the pathway down to the cell Hailey was in. He took a long drag, inhaling deeply and then, standing in the doorway to the cell exhaled the smoke.
He stepped through the mist, clanging the iron bars shut behind him. ”Well, well, well. Hailey Thomas. We meet again.” He raised the cigarette to his lips again, blowing the smoke down towards her. Rod reminisced fondly of their first one on one encounter. How she had stood up so valiantly for the cause of the light side. Rod had told her then that she was a fool for doing so. He commented on it, knowing that she’d understand. How could she forget that experience? It would be with her forever. Rod had left a mark. There was history between the two of them; it was why he had requested her specifically. ”I think, but correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the phrase I’m looking for is I told you so.” He said it all casually, holding his arms out at either side of him, raising his eyebrows questioningly at her. Daring her to disagree.

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Reila had linked her arms behind her back as she paced back and forth again. She hated feeling helpless and not doing a single thing. She knew what would have happened if she tried to help her younger sister. Kevin would murder her. She stopped for a moment and raised her head to glower at him. “Oh believe me Lestrange, you don’t even know our relationship behind closed doors.” There was a venomous hiss to her voice. Threats were, of course, meaningless in this stage. But she felt better if she did it to him. She unlinked her arms and pulled out her wand, pointing it straight at his chest. “You hurt her in any way, shape, or form and you die. Understand me? And don’t even think for a moment to bring Peterson in this either!” Her voice had rose to a shout. Anthony had actually moved back while keeping a wary eye on the second born girl. He muttered something under his breath as Reila gave him a scathing look. Reila turned her attention to Rodolphus as he told them if they see Bella to send her down. That was when she had lost it and started swearing at him. Anthony rolled his eyes and muttered the silence spell. Struck by mid speech the blonde haired girl whirled to face him. He looked at her a bit calmly. “Relax. Go out in the hall or do I have send for your father.” He waited for a few minutes until he took it off. Muttering under her breath she stalked off slamming the door shut behind her. Anthony snorted as he followed her, the last one in the study.
The eighteen year old former Ravenclaw moved to make herself comfortable. The chains were starting to cut into her skin. Merlin, if she still had her wand she would be able to loosen them! The Death Eaters had snapped every wand of the muggleborns and blood traitors before turning them over to their new owners. She had watched as Zach stepped on the wand, snapping it in half. She was still in disbelief at how everything turned. She hadn’t heard her new duties yet but she had a feeling she would sooner or later. Her ears pricked forward at the sound of a door opening and footsteps. Hailey shuddered and tried to move closer to the wall, hoping to melt into it and disappear. Her head shot straight up as she heard her cell door opening and closed. The one person that she hated, the one person that she was forced to call ‘Master’ throughout her life, was standing right in front of her. The thought alone made her sick to her stomach. Ever since the fifth year incident she had largely avoided him. There were times that her eyes would go blank and she would remember the torture that he had put her through. “Rodolphus,” Her voice was sharp. She cringed and coughed a bit as he blew the smoke at her. She shook her arms, listening to the chains rattle and looked at him. “Are you going to get these off me?”
She couldn’t understand why he would request her. Certainly he would have his pick of any muggleborn. She choose to ask him. “Why me? You can have your choice of anyone. And I refuse to call you master.” Hailey spat out the word at him. Her eyes narrowed at what he had said. “Despite everything, Rod, there will be a rebellion. There will be an uprising against the Dark Lord’s rule. I refuse to do anything you say.” With that being said Hailey swung out her leg at him, hoping to maintain contact. They were fools for not binding her legs and her arms together. Hailey was a fighter. “I’m not going to be your little pet,” The words were convincing enough. If one would look closely at the brown haired girl, they would see pain in her eyes. “So you can forget molding me into one because I will run away,” She raised her head, blazing brown eyes staring straight at him with a stubborn expression. Hailey knew that she would regret saying those words but she didn’t care. She didn’t care one bit. At least she knew that her sister would be leading a life of luxury. The life that Hailey herself was raised up until she was eleven. Stupid sorting hat, she thought miserably. You just had to sort me in Ravenclaw and made my life a living hell ever since then.
Hailey had begged, pleaded, for the hat to place her in Slytherin. Her family’s house, the one where she thought she belonged. The hat had other plans for her apparently. “Oh no my dear. You do not belong in that house. My specialty is sorting people in the right house for I am the Sorting Hat. You would do well in RAVENCLAW!” The eighteen year old growled a little as she shook her head to get rid of that memory. She had always been different from her family. She never truly brought the idea of blood purity. She just stared miserably at Rodolphus for a few minutes of silence. “Well, what are you going to do to me?” [/blockquote] Tagged!? Three years could make such a difference. To think Bellatrix three years ago had been seventeen years old, desperate for a chance to join the Dark Lord. And now she was most definitely included in his ranks, a part of the chaos and destruction that had been spreading throughout the wizarding world for the last few months. Every move they made was painstakingly planned and thought out, but it worked flawlessly. The Dark Lord was undoubtedly in control. Her Lord was become more and more powerful by the day, and every day she tried harder to be closer to him, regarded above all the others. And so she had been incredibly eager to take part in the attack on Hogwarts.
But one thing that had not changed in three years was her dislike of being told what to do. By Reila Thomas of all people. The girl that pretended to care about her blood traitor sister then turned her back at the crucial minute. Well it was pathetic, in Bella’s mind. She herself had cut Andromeda out of her life entirely, and Merlin forbid that the two sisters would ever run into each other in a dark alley. It wouldn’t be pretty. Perhaps the eldest Thomas sister would do well to follow in her footsteps.
So her frustration was made quite clear when she was informed that she was wanted down in the dungeons immediately. Her reply had been rude and short. As if Reila Thomas had the authority to order her about in her own manor. Well, admittedly it was Rodolphus’ manor, but she lived there as well. Over the years, Bella had become less able to associate with females; they annoyed her with their frivolities and secrecy. She was far more comfortable in a male dominated environment; her preference in company displayed that clearly.
But the fact that it was Rodolphus that wanted her down in the dungeons calmed her considerably. Her aversion to taking orders didn’t seem to apply to him. Oh, Bellatrix Black still owned herself, there was no doubt about that, but the resistance had faded slightly since her days at Hogwarts. In a way she was flattered. She was well-practiced at pretending not to care what Rodolphus did in his spare time, the fact that she was to be involved this time was exciting. And so no matter what she had said to Reila Thomas, within minutes she was on her way down to the dungeons of the Lestrange manor.
The fact that she was not at all phased by walking into the lower cells said something about her occupation amongst the Death Eaters. The direction she found herself walking in was automatic. Head towards the voices, that was always the rule. She could hear the voice of Rodolphus and the distinctive smoke of the cigarettes he favored so much. And she could also hear the voice of Hailey Thomas. The thought of that blood traitor and her Rodolphus alone together was enough to speed her step, her heels echoing off the stone floor, marking her arrival. The exact nature of the relationship between Hailey and Rodolphus was not clear to Bellatrix, the reason as to why Hailey was the only blood traitor to be moved to the Lestrange manor was lost on her.
“Oh Hailey darling, I really don’t think you’re in any position to be running away, do you?” Bellatrix’s tone was overly patronizing and sarcastic as she too entered the cell. She closed the door behind her and gave Hailey a look of disgust for several seconds, her eyes pointedly fixed on the chains. But she soon moved to stand next to Rodolphus, half a foot or so behind him. After all, this was his moment.

TURN THE LIGHTS OUT LAY YOUR HEAD DOWN NOW YOU GOT ME WHERE YOUwant me i'm the pain and you're the pleasure i've got A O N E T R A C K M I N D
It really hadn’t been that hard to track Hailey down. He’d had one eye on her ever since he left school actually. There was something about her that intrigued him. She often looked so weak and fragile and yet inside was this fight and courage. It was a good combination for someone like Rod to enjoy because although she looked like a victim at times, it felt good to be able to break someone with a bit of fight in them. Made it sweeter when they finally cracked open. He had done just that three years ago. The memory of that night swathed him with good feelings. That was when she had revealed her career prospects to him and along with that knowledge and having her brother and her father by his side; it was all too easy to have her captured. His orders, his requests. Merlin did this power feel good. So many people who were older than him had to follow his orders – Rod had straight away done his best to prove to the Dark Lord that he would be his most faithful servant and that had paid off. He was in his inner circle, knew more about him than others could dream of.
And here Hailey was. Chained up to the wall. Last time he had her in this position he had to do all of the work. Though admittedly it hadn’t been overly difficult to trap her. Still, it was nice to take a step back for a change. She was pushed against the far wall but she wasn’t cowering. That would change eventually. His eyes narrowed dangerously as she spoke his name. He didn’t like the sound of it from her lips. But his lips soon curled into a sneer and his hazel eyes showed amusement as she asked if he was going to take off the chains. ”No.” He said simply. His expression soon turned cross again though because she was asking questions already. Rodolphus disliked being interrogated. He did not need to give reasons for his actions to anybody, especially not to a blood traitor. But he decided that although he didn’t feel like he owed her anything, it would do her no harm to give an explanation. If anything, it might frighten her more.
”Why did I choose you?” He repeated her question and paused a moment, considering how to answer. ”Because it’s more interesting to have someone who I have already crossed paths with. Or do you not remember that meeting in your fifth year?" He paused, licking his lips hungrily "And I love to hear your scream.” It had stuck with him more than any other encounter ever had and he wasn't really sure why. It had been intense; he'd felt himself become something else that day, something stronger, scarier, and more menacing than before. He had asked, his eyes sparkling viciously, hoping that it would conjure up some bad memories for her. He’d be very surprised, not to mention disappointed, if it didn’t. But she was talking again, giving her usual fighting speech. He rolled his eyes at her and missed her kick at him. She caught him on his ankle, his weak one that Denmark had attacked back in his seventh year and he buckled slightly but managed to stay upright. ”And the rebellion will be crushed just as easily the second time around. We are strong, you’ll realise just how strong soon enough.” He said forebodingly and gnashed his teeth together furiously. ”And you will call me what I ask you to.” He raised the cigarette to his lips again, lighting the tip with fresh, hot ash and closing the gap between them he stubbed it out on one of her chained wrists. If that wasn’t a small reminder of the last time he had tortured her then he didn’t know what was.
Run away? For a former Ravenclaw, sometimes she could be ridiculously stupid. He gave her his ‘I’d like to see you try’ look and in a voice dripping with sarcasm said, ”I’m sure you’d get very far. You must be an expert at escaping iron-clad chains without a wand from a house covered in alarms and guarded all day and all night. And where would you go? You have no family to take you.” The corners of his mouth twitched upwards in a grin, laughing at her. This was where it was good to be ruthless. Of course, Rod looked out for his brother but he wouldn’t do anything for the other Lestrange. If he had to ditch him, if he had to kill him even to get his way, then he would do it in the blink of an eye. He had killed his own father after all. Though that had always been the plan. His father was a waste of space, a drunk, relying on the bottle and abusing anyone who he came into contact with, including his wife. Rod hadn’t thought his dear old dad would last even this long considering his dependency on alcohol but he had, and his son had taken the upmost pleasure in ending his life. Would Hailey do the same to her father if given the chance? Despite everything that Kevin Thomas had done to his daughter, he doubted it.
Rod was just about to inflict some pain on Hailey for her insulting words but he was interrupted by Bellatrix. If there was one person in the world that could get away with interrupting him then it was her. He had asked for her anyway because as far as he was concerned, she lived here also and therefore Hailey was just as much hers to do with as she pleased. He turned his head to acknowledge her presence, giving her a satisfied smirk before turning back to the girl chained to the wall. ”You’re mine.” He said coldly, forcing the words upon her, telling her that that was the way it was, whether she liked it or not. ”I will do with you as I please and you will obey. If you don’t, you’ll be punished. You remember, my wife, Bellatrix, yes?" Rod went and stood next to her in order to indicate his next point. ”You do not want to cross either of us.”

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- It would be just her luck to end up with someone like Rodolphus Lestrange. Merlin must really hate her or just like to make her life a living hell. It was strange that, less than a couple of hours ago Hailey was at an interview for St. Mungo’s. She was starting her career, her dream career. That was what she was working hard for to become a healer. Her stomach sank as a small voice whispered in the back of her head that it would never happen now. Like it or not she was at the mercy of Rodolphus who basically controlled her every move from here on out. She was staring at him, watching for his reaction when she called him by his name. The narrowing of his eyes confirmed that he was not at all too pleased about it. Good. She liked getting under his skin but she didn’t like the consequences of her actions. It was an odd combination. A scowl formed on her face as he told her no. She shook the chains again, looking up at him. “They hurt. I want these off.” Hailey was just asking for a beating. One that would probably end up breaking her. The thought alone made her shudder. He had done that in her fifth year by torturing her until she cracked. Her eyes went blank as she remembered the events that had led her to crack.
As if her thoughts had called it to him, Rodolphus had commented on the fifth year incident. Sometimes she wondered if he had the ability to read minds “Don’t think that I had forgotten about that,” Hailey’s voice was soft. “I always remembered no matter how much I tried to. And I had ran to Sirius and James afterwards. They wanted me to go to Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore did you know? Did you know I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes close to screaming? My mind goes blank and all of a sudden I’m in that blasted room alone. With you.” The brown haired girl took a deep shaking breath as she glared at him, her eyes were blazing with something that neither of them could place. She shuddered when he commented on the fact that he loved her screams. “You’re just a sick bastard. Always will be.” She watched with amusement as he buckled over because of her kick. She was disappointed that he had not fallen over. His words sent shivers down her spine. “You would like to think that. Only because you would not want to see what life was like in Azkaban. The Dark Lord can’t rule forever. He’ll be defeated.” Hailey sounded so sure of herself. She didn’t want to give up hope, not in these times.
She eyed him as he walked up to her, her eyes on the cigarette. Well the tip actually. Hailey hissed in pain as he touched it on her right wrist. She tried to break away but couldn’t. “I will never call you master!” She had basically shouted out the words. Hailey flinched at his cold words and his laugh, her heart was sinking. It was true that she had no family. The former Ravenclaw had no one to call her own really. She had watched as her own father had snapped her wand in half. “It’s not my fault that I don’t have family.” Hailey kept her voice soft, her heart was slowly breaking. “It’s not my fault the sorting hat didn’t place me in Slytherin!” Her ears pricked forward as she heard the sounds of heels on the stone floor. Her breathing started to increase as she thought who would be coming down here now. Her eyes flew wide open in fright as none other than Bellatrix had entered the cell. She turned pink. “Well, it’s good to see you again Bella,” Hailey was going to get it big time. She just knew it. The brown haired girl just couldn’t stop her mouth. It was as if it had a mind of its own. “Hm…let’s see. I can somehow break the chains and overpower you and take your wand. How does that sound?” There was a mocking tone to her voice.
Hailey didn’t care what happened afterwards. Might as well speak her mind while she can. She turned her attention to Rodolphus, her eyes glistening with pure coldness. “I AM NOT YOURS! I’M NOT YOUR SLAVE AND I’M NOT YOUR PET! YOU CAN’T BREAK ME AGAIN RODOLPHUS!” Her yelling was the only sound in the cell right now. Her next words were dripping with sarcasm as she looked straight into Bellatrix’s eyes. “Oh yes. I’m sure Bella would be very happy to hear that you had me in your bed. Since you said you’ll do whatever you want. Won’t you Bella?” It was foolish to answer his question. Of course she remembered Bellatrix. Hailey had snorted at his words. “Too late for that.” She spat at him and swiped her leg at Bella. Hailey was hoping to make contact with her leg. [/blockquote] Tagged!? Post by BELLATRIX DRUELLA BLACK on May 10, 2012 20:56:36 GMT
It was almost shocking how quickly Bella found her mood changing. Her entrance into the cell had been the usual for the young Death Eater, a sweeping entrance combined with a sharp, patronising comment. But her mood had still remained relatively light. And then it changed. Those that had grown up around Bella were used to it, it no longer surprised them as she suddenly changed from furious to uninterested, distraught to extremely amused. It only took a split second for her mood to change for the better or for the worse. It was the latter case that made her so dangerous and unpredictable. In the current situation, her good mood was rapidly declining. The shouts she had heard from Hailey as she was walking towards the cell were finally sinking in. But it was not her words that bothered Bellatrix, it was the fact that she didn’t fully understand.
Despite her best intention to ignore the matter, Bella couldn’t help but feel that she had walked in on something that she didn’t fully understand. It was an uncomfortable feeling for her, and she certainly didn’t like it. The familiarity between Rodolphus and Hailey was unsettling her. Yes, she was aware that the two of them had some sort of history from their days at Hogwarts. What exactly that history involved was a complete mystery to her. Of course, she could guess that Rodolphus had tortured Hailey, well, who could blame him really. She was that sort of annoying, mouthy blood traitor who was just asking for it. But the extent of the torture, the aftermath, and what had happened since, she wasn’t too sure.
Her eyes narrowed at Hailey’s response. Whatever she had been expecting, she hadn’t been expecting a sarcastic, mocking retort. Silence would have been preferred. Clearly, the youngest Thomas sibling had never been taught manners. Speaking to someone in such a manner in their own home was unacceptable. But then again, it was hardly surprising that the blood traitor didn’t follow correct Pureblood etiquette. Her parents had probably given up on her the minute she was sorted into Ravenclaw. And rightly so. She glanced quickly at Rodolphus, checking his reaction. She had no idea whether this sort of retort was normal for Hailey. The two females had only encountered each other briefly during their school years; there was a large chance that this girl was just a bit too talkative for her own good.
The raised voice didn’t bother Bella in the slightest; she was more than used to people shouting and yelling. So even in the confined cell, no reaction was provoked from her. What did affect her however was the next comment about Hailey in Rod’s bed. Unconsciously, her jaw clenched. It was one of her major faults, she was so paranoid that someone would take Rodolphus away from her, so jealous of any female he so much as spoke to. She stared at Hailey for a few seconds, before she realised what she was doing. It was taking a lot of her self control not to storm over and physically hurt the girl. How dare she make such a comment? She was nothing, and as far as Bella was concerned, Rodolphus was hers. She once again turned towards her husband to check his reaction, only her eyes betraying the anger building up in her body. As if the worthless blood traitor could handle a man like him.
The moment had almost passed; Bella had almost let the comment slide by. Oh she was fuming, there was no doubt about that, but there was a large possibility that it was just desperate talk. But then Hailey swiped her leg at Bellatrix. The contact was at a minimum, it barely scraped Bella’s leg, but the physicality of it seemed to touch a nerve in Bellatrix. Without thinking, she had her wand pointed down at Hailey. “Crucio!” The spell subsided quickly, it was only a short burst of anger, but there was no doubt it would have been painful. She moved towards Hailey and bent down to her level. “Rodolphus is mine. Never forget that.” Her voice was deliberately quiet, the intention of course being that Rod wouldn’t hear. It was hardly the most prominent part of the situation, but Hailey’s comment had affected Bella, and it clearly showed. She moved back to stand next to Rodolphus, but not before shoving Hailey roughly into the stone wall. Stupid bitch. “For a Ravenclaw Hailey, you’re really not very clever are you? You’ve already been told once. We’re in charge now.” Her tone was deliberately patronising, like speaking to a small disobedient child.

TURN THE LIGHTS OUT LAY YOUR HEAD DOWN NOW YOU GOT ME WHERE YOUwant me i'm the pain and you're the pleasure i've got A O N E T R A C K M I N D
He had promised himself all those years ago in that dungeon classroom that he would have his own back on Hailey Thomas. He had broken her, tortured her, humiliated her on that day, left her to live with that for the rest of her life but it wasn’t enough for him. She didn’t deserve to walk around freely. She was a blood traitor, a threat and so she was much better off here, under his guard, under his control. It was nice to know that he had been right all those years ago. Right to say that she was foolish and right to think that he would one day have his revenge. He revelled in her words, enjoyed hearing that that night had affected her so badly. Rodolphus didn’t need to try and make his expression look any crueller. ”Good.” He said with a triumphant glint in his eye. She was about to have a lot more memories that would stay with her forever. All her other words warranted no response in his opinion. It was all the talk of a desperate, foolish girl who even in Ravenclaw could have tried to fulfil her family’s wishes. She could have repented, found solace with someone on the Dark Side, she was pureblood after all. But instead she chose to be a traitor.
Having Bellatrix by his side made things all the more sweeter. He felt more confident, more arrogant. Not because he had an extra person on his side, no he didn’t need any help. It was just Bellatrix; her presence in the room set his desire on edge and filled him with a swagger so great that he felt invincible. He rolled his eyes at Hailey’s yelling. It wasn’t worth trying to argue with her he was realising now, because she’d just argue back. Her smart mouth was the first thing that needed sorting out that was for sure. For now, Rodolphus was content to just let her shout it all out of her system without offering a reply and once she calmed down she would accept her fate because it really wouldn’t take her too long to realise that there was no way out of this. She would eventually die here. Rod realised he was finally going to find out just how far he could push the human body. His eyes were alight with the anticipation of it all.
That was until she said something that did warrant a response. Rod’s eyes snapped to focus on his hostage, his lip curling in rage at her insinuation. In front of his wife no less! What nerve to make such a suggestion to him in his own home. Nothing had ever happened between Hailey and Rod apart from a bit of friendly torture. Yes, he had threatened to do more but it had never happened. Why would he have the blood traitor when he had so many other girls throwing themselves at him, including the woman standing next to him now? Speaking of Bellatrix, she was looking at him with a glare that often even made Rodolphus flinch. He responded with an angry, ‘this is all lies’ glare of his own. He was about to couple it with a response and perhaps curse Hailey for her insolence but Bellatrix got their first.
Rod watched with pride and lust, the two main sins he dealt with as his wife shot the torture curse at Hailey. He’d lost count of the amount of times he’d watched her do that over the past three years but he never got bored. He couldn’t catch what she said to the girl but he imagined that it would have the desired effect. ”You talk like a desperate, foolish girl, Hailey.” Rod hadn’t realised that he had clenched his teeth together until he had to wrench them apart to talk to her. ”Your lies will not be tolerated.” He turned to Bellatrix with that look in his eyes, the one full of desire and hungry to cause some pain; the emotions echoed in his words. ”Maybe she needs us to prove it?” Rod waved his wand, causing the shackles around Hailey’s wrists to tighten further "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this," and then his wand aimed towards her chest and he put her under the cruciatus curse once more. ”This is for your lying, insolent mouth.” He told her, his words suddenly full of fury. Maybe Hailey needed a reminder of just how violent Rod could be and with Bellatrix alongside him, it would not be pretty.

-----------------------------Up where the mountains meet the heavens above out where the lightening splits the sea I could swear that there's someone watching over me ------------------------------ Hailey gave him one of her best dark looks as she saw the look in his eyes. She scowled heavily at him. “Good for you maybe. You weren’t the one who woke up in the middle of the night ready to scream but you can’t. You weren’t the one who was bombarded with questions about why your hands were burned..” her voice trailed off as there was a blank look in her eyes. She was quiet for only a minute or two before speaking up again. “You would be pleased to know that they did not believe me when I told them what you told me. They were convinced that someone had done it. I was terrified because I know it would get back to you.” The former Ravenclaw took a deep shaking breath. “And now whoever’s up there really hates me because of all the purebloods I end up with you.” She might as well speak up her mind now why she can. Who knows what would happen to her later down the road. “You must feel really proud of yourself. Following orders around like a dog that you are. Never questioning no one just doing it. Killing innocent people, innocent children! How does that make you feel Rodolphus Lestrange. All of you are complete bastards and sadists, enjoying in the pleasure of torturing other people.” She kept a close watch on him as she ran her mouth. She wanted to see his reaction to her words. “What if your own children were blood traitors? Would you treat them the same way you’re treating me? Or going to I should say?”
The brown haired girl knew she was getting ahead of herself. She was going to pay. Hailey was watching them both as she finished her comment about getting into Rod’s bed. Of course, that would not happen in a million years. She would frankly die rather than to submit herself willingly to him. She did note with satisfaction as Bella turned to glare at Rodolphus. It would be interesting to see what would happen between the two of them. A scream ripped itself free from her throat for the few seconds that she was under the Cruciatus Curse. She watched, weary as the other woman approached her and shrank back a little. “Did he tell you what happened the night in our fifth year?” Hailey kept her voice quiet. There was a mocking tone to her voice. “Did he tell you that he got me. Instead of you?” She knew what the consequences would be if she continued spreading lies about her and Rodolphus. She didn’t care. Not in the slightest. “So technically he’s not really yours.” She winced as she was shoved roughly into the wall. It was worth it though. “For now at least. There would be a time that the Dark Lord’s rule would be threatened and he would fall. Then where would you be?” There was a reason the sorting hat had made her a Ravenclaw. As to what that reason was, she would probably never know.
“It’s not the matter of being foolish. It’s the matter of looking forward into the future. The Dark Lord can’t rule the wizarding world forever.” Hailey stated matter of fact. “I would be looking forward to watching your sentencing for life in Azkaban because of your crimes. You would have no one to bail you out. Not even your precious Death Eater friends. Mulciber, Peterson, Avery, my family.” She spat out the last word but it stayed on her tongue. She really did have no family. Kevin could simply care less about his youngest child. His pride and joys were the two eldest, the ones who had followed into the footsteps of the Thomas family. The past two years Hailey had been closely watching her sister. She didn’t look all that happy. “Well, why don’t you get Kevin and Zach down here and have them put me through hell? Or are you two going to do this yourselves.” There had been a point in her life that she had stopped calling Kevin her father. She had made it a point to basically disown herself from the Thomas family. They didn’t care. None of them did. “Kevin could care less about what happens to me so this would be a plus in his book,” her voice sounded bitter.
“They’re not lies Rodolphus,” Hailey had made a huge effort to purr. “You know what you feel for me. You can’t deny it. You even told me that you wanted to be far away from this psychopath,” Here she nodded to Bellatrix. Oh, she was going to get it. She flinched as the chains tightened on her wrists and she looked to them before glaring up at Rodolphus. Hailey froze as his wand pointed straight at her chest. And then the cell was filled with nothing but her screams again as she was placed under the Cruciatus Curse again. She tried to writhe around as much as she was allowed to.

Post by BELLATRIX DRUELLA BLACK on May 21, 2012 17:27:58 GMT
The comment Hailey had made whilst Bella had been kneeling down beside her was still ringing through her ears. She had not responded at the time, after all, it would be something of an embarrassment to get into a blazing argument with a blood traitor about the man standing next to her. Besides, Bella was the one with the ring on her finger. It was Hailey who was in the much less fortunate position, locked in a cell with two of the Dark Lord’s inner circle Death eaters. But despite her self-assurances, it was impossible to stem the anger building up inside her body. Hailey’s fifth year had been her seventh year. The year she finally claimed Rodolphus as her own. How exactly was she supposed to react when she discovered that he and Hailey had been together that year as well?
The glare she had sent Rodolphus was returned, clearing insisting Hailey was lying through her teeth. It wasn’t a brilliant start, the two Death Eaters were supposed to put on a display of unity. But Rod’s look and following comment relaxed her. If he insisted she was lying, then she was lying. There was nothing more that needed to be said. She sent a smirk in his direction, almost by way of apology. Of course, Bellatrix Black never actually apologised to anyone, but what Death Eater did? The idea that she had for a moment believed a blood traitor over her own husband was ridiculous.
Her expression changed again as Hailey began talking. Again. It was the same thing she had heard again and again, every single time she entered into some level of conversation with a blood traitor. Oh they all started off the same, shouting and screaming about how the Dark Lord would fall and everyone that followed him would end up dead. She had heard it so many times it was almost boring. But in the end they were all silenced. Bella had no doubt that the same fate awaited Hailey. And hopefully, it would come sooner rather than later. Her sound of her voice was seriously beginning to grate on Bellatrix’s nerves. The only sound she could stomach was the sound of her screams. That was how the situation should be.
The label ‘psychopath’ didn’t provoke any sort of reaction from her in the slightest. Again, she was more than used to being labelled as ‘mentally instable’, ‘a maniac’. But then you were hardly going to expect anything else from someone in their last few minutes of life. Insults thrown at her rarely gained a response. But the thing that did irritate her was Hailey’s tone of voice. And it was directed at her husband. Again, the situation seemed to have deviated from the normal. They were supposed to be torturing her, not getting into a row about who slept with who three years ago. Surely the best thing would be to deal with this issue and move on.
“Such a pretty girl,” she commented, her attention completely focused on the girl on the floor. It was completely out of tone with the setting, and her voice was gentle, an unusual feat for Bella Black. But it was moments like these when she could be at her most unpredictable. “Almost too pretty for such a blood traitor,” she mused, half talking to herself rather than to anybody else in the cell. Once again, she knelt down beside Hailey and pulled the Ravenclaw’s hair across to one side. Using her wand, she muttered a spell that immediately heated the tip of her wand up until it was a bright white colour, which allowed her to cut Hailey’s hair. Long strands of hair fell to the floor; the smell of singed hair was prominent in the small space. She pulled back slightly to admire her work. The hair had been left short, rough, singed and not at all flattering but Bella still wasn’t satisfied. She wanted to look at Hailey and find no reason at all, no reason whatsoever that Rodolphus would ever find her in the slightest attractive. And so she took her wand, still burning hot and ran it quickly down the side of Hailey's face. To her enjoyment, a large red welt was left behind, no doubt the beginnings of a nasty burn. With that she drew back, returning to the back of the cell. “There. Much better don’t you think?” The question was undoubtedly directed at Rodolphus, but it was Hailey her eyes remained on.

TURN THE LIGHTS OUT LAY YOUR HEAD DOWN NOW YOU GOT ME WHERE YOUwant me i'm the pain and you're the pleasure i've got A O N E T R A C K M I N D As if he couldn’t care less for Hailey’s words, Rod, tipped his head back to stare at the ceiling and picked at some dirt beneath his fingernails. ”I could really care less.” He said slowly, stretching out the words as he cast his gaze around the place, finally landing back on Hailey giving her a mocking sneer. She didn’t understand at all. He wasn’t just following anybody’s instruction; the Dark Lord had grand plans, had a lot of power and had the right ideas. It was with pride and dignity that he did it, not because he was a slave. Was there even any point trying to put her right? No, because she would continue to argue. She really was a hopeless case. ”I am proud to do it.” His right hand automatically gripped his left forearm, his thumb rubbing the dark mark branded there in a loving fashion. His eyes clouded over for a moment or two, lost in his thoughts and his passion for the cause but the girl managed to grab his attention soon enough. ”No child of mine would ever be a blood traitor.” He spat at her. It was unthinkable.
Rod actually let out a snarl at her words. She was still persevering with this? Well of course she was; it was guaranteed to get a reaction from the both of them, cause them to argue between themselves. He couldn’t quite believe what he was hearing. It was with disbelief that he listened to Hailey’s words, the tone of her voice further insinuating that he had had his wicked way with her. He flexed his fingers threateningly; oh what he wouldn’t give to wrap them around her neck. He was suddenly very aware that his expression was warning and that to his wife; it may look like he was warning Hailey to shut up because he didn’t want Bellatrix to know the truth. He hurriedly looked at his partner; eyebrows raised his eyes wide in slight fear that she might actually take her word over his. They were supposed to be fighting on the same side but so far Hailey was doing a pretty good job at keeping them apart.
At her own expense though of course. Rod’s face turned curiously as he watched and listened to Bella. Her tone of voice had softened considerably and that only meant one thing: pain. It was a sinister move Rodolphus used himself; use a voice that hinted gentleness but then your actions were the complete opposite. Once again his tongue darted out to moisten his lips as he watched Bellatrix’s actions with a mixture of interest and apprehension. He loved to watch her cause pain but there was a part of him worried that she would turn her wand on him. He hadn’t exactly done a sterling job at defending himself from Hailey’s words. And there was a reason for that. A reason that would make him flinch slightly at the loss of Hailey’s hair and the burn on her face.
She did have a pretty face. And it was the main reason Rod had always been intent on destroying her life. He couldn’t have her. He should’ve been able to. She was a pureblood after all and so even as a Ravenclaw he wouldn’t have said no. But not only had she turned her back on the dark side, she had decided to fight against them. And so he felt cheated out of her and it was her fault. So yes, he felt she deserved to be punished and yes he rather liked watching Bellatrix inflicting this humiliation but he was haunted by Hailey’s words because he wished they were true. And that was why he was doing a poor job of defending himself. Well that would have to change.
He wrapped his arm around Bellatrix’s waist as she returned to her spot next to him. He pulled her toward him, turning on the spot as he did so. ”You’re much better.” He murmured against her lips before capturing them possessively with his own. No, his words weren’t a direct answer to her question but at the end of the day, Bellatrix had always been the one for him. The one he went back to time and time again and nothing or no one would change that and that was what he proved with that kiss. ”So Hailey thinks she can ruin a marriage?” He said, pulling away from Bella and wandering casually towards his hostage. His fingers played with the freshly singed bits of her hair and he tenderly ran a finger down the burn on her face. He took a step backwards, cocking his head to one side, his expression dark, sinister, hungry as he admired his wife’s handiwork. ”So we’ll ruin her.” He said simply. He pulled out his wand and heated the tip as Bellatrix had done, crouching down in front of Hailey, he grabbed her left arm, twisting it and pushing back the sleeve of her robes so that the skin of her forearm was exposed. ”As proof, that I am in charge,” Rod pushed the burning tip of his wand to her skin, drawing the letter ‘R’ in the spot where a dark mark should go. ”As proof that you are mine.”
