I CANT LIVE I CANT BREATH UNLESS YOU DO THIS WITH ME The first trip of the semester had come up for the students and since Alice was already a sixth year she was able to walk ahead of the new students who were getting to go for the first time. She prefered her trips to Hogsmead to be quiet and uneventful, unless she was out with Molly or Lily. When she was with her girlfriends she loved to have a good time either sitting in the tea shop having something to drink or by going out shopping. Shopping for some new outfit or just to try stuff on for the fun of it. Alice herself was not a very fashionable girl but she liked to play dress up in the fun of her own friends. At least with school she never had to worry about making sure that she was dressed in the most stylish clothing, the uniform took care of that. But even if there was no uniform then she would wear some pretty plain clothing. No one could call Alice flashy or over the top when it came to her choice of weekend and after class outfits. But this trip had an entirely different purpose than shopping since she had no reason to shop. This trip was entirely for her own pleasure and to relax after another stressful week of classes.
The work load was starting to get to her and she just wanted the chance to relax with her friends more. But after three major essays, a test, and lots of homework assignments she was near brain dead and this trip was for her to unwind her mind. Unwind and maybe get some tea since she was running low on her supply. Then maybe a bit of walking and window shopping before she went back to the castle to get back to her homework until that evening. That evening there were no plans but she assumed that her fellow Gryffindor females wanted to do something and Alice was open to any and all ideas. As she walked along the trail leading to Hogsmead she shoved her hands into the front pockets of her jeans and glanced down at her sneakers. Unlike normal she was not looking around at all of the people she passed, just focused on her feet as she walked.
Her feet took her right into town and right up to the little tea shop. The smell that hung in the air around the store was just magical and floral. Alice wanted nothing more than to curl up in a warm blanket inside of that store but she would settle for bringing some home. The bell jingled as she entered into the store and her eyes drifted over the people until she focused on the front counter. A smile took over her face as she greet the women behind the counter. "Good Morning. How are you tooday... I would like a cup of tea and then some to go. Which kind... surprise me." She said to the women and then the lady disappeared to get Alice her order. Then she reached into her pocket and pulled out the money to pay her when she got back.
Her blonde hair was down and fell over her shoulders into soft curls today. The women came back and Alice paid her before taking her purchase. Now it was time to decide if she wanted to sit there or just go walking around through the town. After a moment she made up her mind and took a seat at one of the tables that was right by the large bright window. The sun was shinning and Alice was much more relaxed than she had been recently. Her hands wrapped around the warm cup of tea as her bright blue eyes glanced out the window.

[style=width:300px; height: 300px; background: url(http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/jj566/mildevo/frank-20.jpg)] , i'll take care of you so.. what, i should just ask her out? 'cause i think i'm just about way past that stage, he raised an eyebrow for accompaniment to his question. he took a sip from the steaming cup he held, more waiting than observing, for the incredibly classy slytherin to drop her measuring and reply to his statement. or to at least, look at him to acknowledge that she'd been listening, or to otherwise just give him a simple facial expression that could just about sum up what her spoken answer would have been. trust remus to have to ask him to cover for his tutoring lesson while he recovered from helping hagrid tend to the thestrals all night long. fitting too, that he'd come to realize that the two of them had done more manual labour than anything else for the past two weeks, which was evenly bizzare in itself.
his forefinger tapped on the curve of the mug, nodding as if to agree on the blanketing silence. personally, he couldn't have thought of a better way to start the morning in the dungeons, instead of sprawling himself on the grassfields, collapsed. wow, you really are smitten, her voice dripped with honey, but he wasn't fooled. juliette was infamous to coat her words with deep sarcasm, and this moment was no exception. have you actually told her how you feel? she asked, straightening her posture as she looked at him with questioning eyes. he tilted his head and opened his mouth, with no words to speak. she smiled and raised her eyebrows, which only made him feel worse. he took a sip as she sighed, and busied over the cutting and the collecting of ingredients. you know, i've just realized something. they lock eyes as she looked back at him. i'm a complete fool for asking for advice from a girl who has absolutely no interest in this sort of thing. he elicited a slight chuckle as she rolled her eyes and turned back to finding her required ingredients, a faint smirk painted on her lips.
it's your charm, being a fool. i guess that's why she likes you too. he breathed in through the pipe, hands pocketed, eyes searching. with his casual stride on, a faint smile tickled his face as he recalled back the earlier morning events, the spoken words and exchanged glances. why he would even be fussing over this a little over the top subject was beyond him, beause as far as he was concerned, he had neer been quite as strung out with anything else as with this. the smoke helped though, to at least help him compartmentalize the swarm of thoughts festering in his mind. school work became even more irrelevant in his eyes, as he had been neglecting even studying or bothering to look down to open books and scattered parchments. he looked up and around, mildly noting the mellow weather that blanketed hogsmeade, finding himself nodding and smiling to the direction of his group of peers, who were looking at him with raised eyebrows, as if to indicate that he was a lunatic to be straying away so far. with a sudden jolt, he remembered the pile of letters literring his bedside-table, still left unopen and unread. fortunately, whenever he was smoking, it normally indicated that he was in a place where he preferred to be left unaccompanied, unwound and unaffected by the otherwise abnormalities in life people called problems. and seeing an opportunity to smoke outside the premises, he took the day with haste, now absolutely moritified about the thought of whether he should have asked her to come with him, and whether or not it would have been appropriate if he had. damn teenager hormones, he cursed, breathing out slowly as he took the pipe in his hand. as to where he was destined to be taken by his wandering feet, he had no absolute idea. normally, he would only ever bother to take himself here for the sake of friends, or to chat up adult friends that he'd managed to acquaint himself with. he looked up, finding himself feeling very familiar with the road that only few seemed to occupy. up ahead, a teashop with a hanging sign stood, which now made him remember-- he had seen alice come out of there, once. it was during the day when he was being reckless and absolutely carefree, and he hadn't been able to pay attention much. but considering that he managed to remember that within his storage area of a mind, he applauded himself. maybe he could swing by and buy some tea.. just to let himself know that this venture of his wasn't a complete waste of time. and to remind himself that, as far as he was concerned, he was willing to go to the ends of the world, just to make her smile. as he pushed open the door, which was fortunately directly on the side coming from his direction, he did not care to survey his surroundings for the time being, afraid that he might just receive disapproving glances from old ladies, who had come to gossip and chatter with other old ladies. with both hands in his pockets, his pipe securely fastened between his lips, he strode to the counter, suddenly in an absolute cluelessness as to what to say. he'd always fancied himself a glass of brandy or bourbon, always staying away from even the scent of tea. uhh.. he pondered, taking he pipe in his hand, ..earl grey? or lemon tea.. white, black, maybe.. he racked his brain, feeling all his vocabulary diminish by the second. what about jasmine.. or chamomile.. a startled expression painted his face as the counter lady laughed, eliciting a nervous, slight laugh from him as well. for a lady friend of mine, though i've no clue as to what her taste for this is. i'm not much of a fan, see, he explained, surrending with a sigh. she nodded and told him to wait. barely a minute passed before she showed once more, a paper bag in her hand with the waiting amount of ten sickles, which he gladly paid for. his nose wrinkled at the sudden whiff of the powders within as he rounded, stopping on his third step as he spotted gold, in the form of loose curls, with the owner in the form of a maiden he dreamed many dreams about. alice, hey.. his voice faltered as his words ended, raising his pipe-occupied hand in a wave, a beaming smile forming on his lips. he just couldn't help himself. why are you here alone? is something wrong? he asked as he walked to her table, worry shading his eyes. her simplicity was just so breath-taking; did she realize how fast she made his heart beat, by just the mere sight of her? are you alright? he took a seat opposite her, taking a second before realizing what he was holding. here, i got you something. he placed the paperbag on the table, feeling slight caught off-guard. surprisingly enough, he didn't mind. , outfit: with black shoes notes: longer than i expected.. xD [/style]

I CANT LIVE I CANT BREATH UNLESS YOU DO THIS WITH ME As she sat there her eyes never really focused on anyone or anything in particular. The large group of students from Hogwarts on their first trip managed to make it down safely but they seemed lost as best when they finally arrived. Huge little doe eyes that just looked up at the different signs and giggled like they were new. It was such a cute little sight to behold while Alice was safe inside of the little tea shop. She was in the safety of the older women from the village sitting around a warm fire and having their little gossip session. She loved watching them since they always had something interesting to share like a story or piece of advice. Trusting one’s elders was what Alice believed she should do since that is how her mother taught her old child. She and her mother were very close since her father was in and out of the picture as fast as his jobs went. One moment he was there and the next he was receiving an old with a new assignment that was urgent. Then his bag was grabbed and the door was left wide open as he ran off. This was the cause of the fights and probably the cause of her father’s absence. If he was not there then there was nothing to fight about and her mother could just go on living her life as she pleased with her daughter. At least Alice was always there and always smiling for her mother despite the missing of her own father.
But unlike some girls who have issues with their father’s abandoning them Alice did not feel the need to just run up to every boy that she saw and flirt with them. Now she could not resist the enjoy of having someone flirt with her. It made her feel attractive and like she was worthy of that person, but whenever she saw Frank there was still that twinge of doubt in her mind. All she saw was this attractive man that could have any girl he wanted and he tended to get that girl. Why did he start paying attention to her recently? Then as soon as his attention came it also went. They were supposed to meet up and go swimming in the lake but he never showed. Alice must have stood there like some dumb girl with a crush for over an hour before she retreated back to her dorm room to change out of her bathing suit. It was under her clothing but anyone looking could tell that she was wearing it and she did not want to have to explain it others what she had been planning. Or better yet that she was falling for Frank Longbottom with her little schoolgirl crush.
And yet as she sat there with her hand wrapped around the warm cup she could not shake his smile from her mind. It was like the Cheshire cat, so mysterious and yet it intrigued her so much but she was scared of the talking cat like the main character had been. Scared and yet the conversation still happened despite the madness that was ensuing around her. Alice felt like she was falling down the rabbit hole of her teenage girl crush. It pulled her down and never ended but she was not scared of the fall, in fact it was quite curious. And after such a fall as this she would think nothing of it again, but there was the matter of surviving this initial fall.
A familiar voice fell on her ears and pulled her out of her daydream to her reality that involved that special smile. Or smirk. It really depended on that moment and the comment that he was going to make. But when she turned her head to smile and wave she noticed that right now it was just that lovely smile she longed to see. ”nothing is wrong Frank. I wanted some tea and Lily and Molly were just pre occupied.” She answered and felt herself unconsciously sit up a bit straighter like she was trying to impress him. ”I am fine… why do you always seem so worried about me?” She asked as he was sitting down. Then a gift was handed to her and she did not have the heart to tell him that she had just gotten herself some. But the gesture was lovely and how could Alice say no to that smile. ”Thank you Frank. Is this to make up for the fact that you missed out little adventure the other day?”
A playful tone was taken for this question but she was honestly thankful for such a nice gift from the boy she liked. ”It really is lovely. I hope you didn’t spend too much on me.” This time her sentence carried a little bit more appreciation and gratefulness.
