There really was nothing like a simple nap in the sun to round out a pleasant free period and for once there was some sun to enjoy. Honestly the weather in Scotland was no less changing then the rest of the bloody island and that really was reason enough for the Slytherin to count his blessings and enjoy the sun while it was still around. Though the whole thing did go without saying that Ethan Briggs was the type that was all too fond of taking naps anywhere he possibly could. After all, it really did go without saying that he was far from the type that enjoyed his classes. If not for the simple fact that he had to have a certain minimum in his course work to remain on the Quidditch team, odds were he wouldn't even bother to show up to the classes themselves let long work on the course work in what was his free time. But by now, this being his sixth year and all, he knew better then to think for a moment that the work was going to go away any time soon. The only saving grace now was the fact that he now had lovely, open points throughout the day to do completely nothing if he so chose and that was very much so what he was doing. Though it was safe to say that he considered himself doing something seeing as he was trying to nap and there was a certain amount of effort involved in doing that. Or so he felt was the case, seeing as there wasn't a single part of the bleeding school that was remotely quiet. Except for nighttime, of course, but even then it wasn't like he was going to be out and about to test that theory when he had a perfectly good four poster waiting for him.
But it was very far from being the middle of the night, in fact it was just after lunch and that really was the most perfect time to have a nap. Though there was little doubt that he surely did look more then slightly humorous out in the courtyard sitting in what was surely no less then one of the plush green chairs from the Slytherin common room. After all there was no point in being uncomfortable. Though there was only a single downside to his current location and things of that nature and that was because of the lovely weather it seemed that most of the Hogwarts students that could get away from their studies had managed to move outdoors and were being quite chatty. Much to his dismay it was actually enough to keep the Slytherin from catching a few Z's. Ethan peeked open an eye looking at the closest bunch of the noisy offenders but that didn't seem to have much of an effect on any of them. Apparently, he wasn't very threatening in appearance when he was half asleep. Though one would have thought that by now the population would know him by name and of the fact that he required a certain about of beauty rest per day just to keep up his winning abilities. Or at the moment none of them seemed to care. The Slytherin blew a sigh, staring up at the clouds as much as his current vantage point would permit. Honestly sleep was a lot nicer then watching the clouds but anything really was better then doing his work or studying like so many of the other students were currently doing.
Sure it was odd for him to have one of the common room chairs out in the open air just because he wanted a nap and as odd as the whole thing seemed it sure didn't appear to be bothering anyone. Perhaps they were all just accustom to the way he was by now. And really that was something that he all together wasn't sure he was happy about. Oh, well. At least no one was bothering him. Though it was surprising that no one was missing that chair back in the common room. Really was a funny thing.
OOC: I really don't mind who shows up and no I have no idea where I'm going with it but here it is anyway. Bother him, accuse him, do something I don't care. I'll make my next post better so don't you worry whomever joins.
