kaiden isaac lane
full name:"Oh, please like you really care, you're just another prat who think's they're so bleeding important that you can ask anything. But I'm feeling generous today. My name's Kaiden Isaac Lane."
age:"Didn't your Mummy ever teach you that it's rude to ask people's ages? She didn't, huh? Well, I'd bet your Friday nights are pretty empty if you talk to girls like that, mate. I'm fifteen not like its any of your business."
year:"Do the math yourself. Its not that challenging. A four year old could figure it out. Fine. I'm a fifth year. Bloody git."
birthday:"I was born August 10th. Get me a gift, 'kay?"
blood line:"If my mum's a halfblood and my dad's a halfblood then I guess that would make me a halfblood too, right? Please don't tell me you were going to say pureblood. God you're hopeless."
occupation:"Can't say I have a job. I go to school to learn and that's that."
former / house:"I'm a Gryffindor if you can't tell by the robes."
"Let's start with the basics. Do you have any pets?"
"No, I don't have a cat. I have an eagle owl my parents got me when I first got accepted into Hogwarts. Her name's Rinny. She has a nasty habit of bringing me dead mice during breakfast. That's all you need to know."
"Tell me about your wand."
"I swear you think you can ask anything. Ballsy, aren't you? Not that its any of your concern but its a Fir wand with a dragon heartstring core. Whole 12 and 1/4 inches. Wanna see it? Its totally cracking."
"Can you produce a patronus? What form does it take and what powers it?"
"Um... I can't create a patronus yet. I mean I can but it hasn't taken shape yet. Been using the memory of when I slipped some love potion in my brother's drink. Oh, was that funny he actually fell in love with my sister's cat for a good three or four hours."
Once he can get the patronus to take shape it will be of a wolverine.
"Care to tell me what you see when you see a boggart?"
"My greatest fear? What you gonna try to sick it on me? Go ahead and try, honesty, you're crackers. Guess I fear needles more then anything. Yeah, needles. There's just something so icky about them."
"I'm sure you've never seen a dementor but do you have a worst memory you can think of?"
"Oh, I knew this was coming. Heh. Guess my worse memory has to be when I had to get some shots when I was real little. Nurse was really bad with needles. Come to think of it I really hated the things after that. Can't blame me though. You'd hate them too if you had a nurse that bad."
Personal Importance
"What are some of the things you like?"
"Plants, herbology, chess, checkers (if people are betting anyway), cheap dates, checking out people, manipulating people, artwork, knitting, playing with hair."
"And lets not forget dislikes."
"Needles, hairspray. big dogs, high pitched voices, drama queens, people that dress like total slags, dirt under my fingernails, cold fingers, over-eaters, fatties that over-eat and then wonder why they're fat, people who don't take care of their appearance, ice cream, potions class."

General Personality
- BRAVE. Yeah, pretty much one of the most common traits for Gryffindors known to man but it completely fits Kaiden to a tee. While he is not exactly the type that would go barreling into danger head on there is still a part of him that is brave. Though it is all more in the sense that he is not afraid of social situations and things that are a little more low key. When there's a chance to die in the cards, it is easy enough to say that he would very much so rather find someone else stupid enough to risk their life for him. Unless there happened to be really something worth while in the cards or someone he really cared about was in danger. That's always different. But the whole idea of showing off how brave a person is? Well, that's just bloody overrated and a good way to get oneself killed.
- CONFIDANT. In fact over confidant might be a better way to explain Kaiden. With the amount of planning that he does with everything in his life and things of that nature it is very much so challenging to get any amount of under confidence on the Gryffindor's part. Things just normally go his way because of planning and a general amount of knowledge that he has on the other person or about something in general. Though when those times fit as to where he is not confidant its not always the most pretty thing on the planet. Nervous at the very least would be a good way to start describing how he reacts. Indeed, when those moments hit all too often he does his best to find some sort of an escape out of whatever caught him off his guard and do his best to regroup.
- IMPULSIVE. Even with the amount of rigid planning in his life, there are times that Kaiden is nothing more or less then down right impulsive. Not that he would ever think of doing anything that had the ability to put him very much so in harms way but there are other things that he does instead. Feels of wanting a sudden change or something of that nature in his life. Though there are times that does come back to bite him. When not thinking properly there's always that risk of something that could go completely and totally wrong. Angry girlfriends, friends, broken things, big mistakes and other things are often what he is left with. And it goes without saying that none of those things are very pleasant.
- PERSUASIVE. There have been more then a handful of times where the Gryffindor has managed to use a few honeyed words and empty gestures to get what he wanted. This whole idea of persuasion is one that he has slowly worked into something that is nearing that of a general art form. While it does not always keep him out of trouble (lets face it not everyone wants to hear what he has to say) there are still many more times where things go his way. Indeed, it is something that Kaiden is almost proud of that general ability along with humorous feelings that the human race is so completely blind to what they and others around them are doing if only given a handful of sweet sounding but completely meaningless words.
- FUN-LOVING. Indeed, there is just something about fun that Kaiden enjoys. A well placed joke or prank really is enough to pull him out of a sour mood if things have him down in the dumps. Although he is not normally one that strays into the whole idea of pranking people and things of that nature. While there is a certain humour in what people come up with, there is something that isn't very fun about having to admit that they came up with those ideas if they failed or worse being on the receiving end of something like that. Yup, Kaiden is very much so the time that will stick to small jokes and more pleasant things with words if he has to come up with something himself.
- INTELLIGENT. Like just about everyone on the planet, Kaiden has an intelligence level and he often uses it to the best of his advantage. Although he is not what a person would consider as a genius and sometimes he lacks the basic idea of book smarts depending on the subject he makes up for it with common sense. Though in the same area he tries not to show off his abilities unless it really can get him somewhere. Understated intelligence is very much something that he prefers. Better that they underestimate and leave themselves vulnerable then be prepared for whatever he could do.
- WELL-GROOMED. Always appearing neat and tidy really is something that Kaiden finds more important then just about anything else in the world. A person that is messy in appearance is just one that sets themself up to fail or at least that's how Kaiden chooses to view the whole thing. And thus it is easy enough to say that even finding the young wizard with so much as a five o'clock shadow is something that a person would be hard pressed to find. All of which has made the wizard very much so obsessive about his appearance and that of others for that matter. Indeed, it is easy enough to say that the Gryffindor does often judge a book on its cover and there isn't thing one that a person can do about it.
- SENSITIVE. Even though the Gryffindor likes to put forth a very strong and powerful sort of front, beneath all that there is a part of him that is very much so sensitive. Though over all he does his best to hide it from the world, after all there is no point in showing someone weakness or anything that can be used against them. Even though he does his best to hide such things, surely a person with the right ability in observation and things of that nature might be able to see it if they try.
- LOYAL. Despite being what is considered manipulative among other things there is a part of Kaiden that is very loyal. Loyal to those that are his friends but it is something that is a challenge getting to the point that he considers a person as a friend. Regardless, a person that gets that loyalty to a person like him is very much so lucky and will have someone that goes through things for them for better or for worse. As long as it is in reason. Pointless ventures and such things are far from his cup of tea.
- AMBITIOUS. Kaiden loves a good challenge and that has made him very much so an ambitious person. Though there are times that he uses people to get ahead among other things, he's always looking skyward for the next challenge and the biggest and best thing. Second best is never enough.

For History Books
"Lastly, your past. Anything interesting you'd like to add?"
"Oh, God. Don't tell me that you're that type. The kind that just loves to hear some godawful story about a person's life? You know, a real tearjerker that would make even those bloody muggle chick flicks look like they didn't hold enough sorrow? Well, you aren't going to find that here, mate. But you're lucky I still have time to kill so I guess I can give you something that'll shut you up. If that's even possible, Merlin knows you've asked enough questions already like this is some sort of interview. It isn't, is it?
Whatever. I was born just like the rest of the population. Nope, no test tube baby here. I was born to two very normal wizarding folk. Not everyone can have some set of brave Gryffindor parents that have saved the world. I swear people think Gryffindor and that's the quintessential idea of the whole bloody house. Its a joke really, not that there aren't some Gryffindors that totally have those types of parents and its like a whole family of life saving, brave people. There really is more to the house then that and people totally forget that. Anyway, I'm doubtful you want to hear about my time as an infant and if you do you are a complete freak. Sure my mum would answer those sort of questions though, the woman always does her best to embarrass the hell out of me. But lets skip ahead to when I was about six. That was the first time I ever showed magical talent. My next door neighbor had scared the living daylights out of me, not on purpose but it still happened. And in my fright, I managed some sort of stunning spell on the man. It wasn't very strong though, was just enough to knock him on his bum. Least it was something that wasn't requiring any sort of reversal thing from the Ministry. That muggle still thinks he tripped over something. No, its not bad living near muggles either, my family finds them totally interesting. Only reason why we moved to Plymouth when I was four. They wanted to study muggles. Though the muggles still think we are the weird ones on the block. I still have a few muggle friends though, even now. Sure they think I'm at some sort of odd boarding school most of the time but we all get along well enough.
Course, like everyone else I got my Hogwarts letter. Wouldn't be here without it, right? If you didn't already notice, I was sorted into Gryffindor by that hat. Can't say anything bad about its choice considering everything but there is a certain annoyance with what people think a Gryffindor should be like and all that but yeah I think you'd have that in any house. My first year of being at Hogwarts wasn't all that bad. Learned right off I do not like potions though. Mum still thinks that they're just the most important thing ever but its still not something I like to study. Herbology on the other hand, once we got to that in my second year I just love that class. Even have taken over the window boxes at home with various plants and things like that. Heck even my dorm has a few extra plants where there really shouldn't be but I can't help myself they're bloody interesting. You got a problem with that? I didn't think so. Also in my second year I made the Gryffindor team as a beater. No, I'm not one of those Quidditch obsessed loonies either. Sure its a great game to play and there's not a stress reliever better then smacking an iron ball towards someone's head. But it wasn’t something that lasted. Sorta got removed from the team after I “got a little carried away” I think that’s how Dumbledore put it. Anyway, not playing it anymore but its not like it was that big of a loss. Wasn’t like I was looking to it for a career. It wasn’t something I live for; plants are just so much more interesting.
My third and fourth years really were about the same. Got in trouble a few times and those were the years that I found some interest in various human affairs. What do I mean? Well, there's just something overly interesting and fun about the idea of getting a person do to what you want and yet have them still think that it is by their own accord and thought process. Yeah, you can judge me all you want for that but I'm sure you do some things that a person would find questionable too. Yeah, I thought so. Don't even dare judge me. My fifth, and current year, hasn't really been anything totally interesting either, but it did just start. Well, OWLs are so close that its almost nerve racking but that's about it. I'm really not looking forward to OWLs though. Its not something that I think anyone likes but lets face it OWLs are important and it wouldn't look good if I didn't score well on them considering I do take a certain amount of pride in my studies. Too bad the whole test isn't about herbs though. I'd be so much happier if it was. I really would."
