dear roy
, where has your sense of propriety gone that you should choose to even forget to write to me, as granted, you are too busy to see me in the daylight? of course, i only jest half-heartedly, but i am rather riled that you would not even care to ask me to lunch or dinner, or even start up a personal, actual conversation.
i miss you. [/blockquote] love, juliette [/blockquote][/blockquote] [/blockquote]

Juliette,
You talk as if I've elected to ignore you completely.
But to answer your various questions, I am, indeed, busy. I question how some of the players learned to play Quidditch. I have been running practices and I am not thrilled with a few of the players. These professors are also pushing for us to try our best on our N.E.W.T.s. Do they not already realize that some of us are already the best? Speaking of which, your O.W.L.s are coming up. Have you been studying?
If this is how you are truly feeling, then I shall make time for you.
Would you like to talk over dinner? Or perhaps you'd rather speak outside in the fresh air? Which ever one you desire, you know I shall comply.

dear roy
, well, did you not?
oh, come now. the nott siblings know what they're doing. i do not know why you employed mulciber or black, though; was the team really that desperate? you should know that i am laughing as i write this, which you should feel proud about, since you've done no such thing to make me so. of course i have, what do you take me for? to get to the auror status, i am expected for the highest results. and these, i shall most kindly give. which reminds me, pray tell that you're able to tell me fair news about your arranged marriage, or you'll have my hands around your neck.
dinner sounds much more convenient for you, so i shall lean on requesting for that one. don't be bashful; you know you miss me too. [/blockquote] love, juliette [/blockquote][/blockquote] [/blockquote]

Juliette,
I acquiesce.
However, take note that I did not do so willingly. Time is of the essence, as they say.
Only for you shall I even take time out of my schedule, little sister. You should feel honored. I must admit the Notts are skilled at their positions. As for Mulciber and Black, they have enough skill yet are lacking it in practice. Some of my players also missed practice, which is unacceptable. I plan to work them to exhaustion when they do show up, and if they know what is good for them, then they shall. As expected of you, Juliette. It is a fair enough question, as if you do not do well, father will be furious with you.
Father and mother have yet to tell me of their decision, so I do not know. I suspect it may be a Miss. Selene Greengrass. However, it is only a conjecture. And you should know your idle threats do nothing but amuse me, Juliana. Your petite hands would not be able to wrap themselves around my neck, you should very well know.
Dinner it shall be then. You should know by now I do not admit to such trivial things as missing someone. That is just to say I will not say it.

dear roy
, forgive me for saying so, but it seems i shall be the only slytherin to ever support the house of gryffindor in this matter of competition. it is not that i question your skill for commandeering-- james is merely exceptional when it comes to matters that capture his heart the most. his level of arrogance is impeccable, stubborn just as you are.
oh, the day of your disappoint on me shall come when hell freezes over. perhaps you should not be so concentrated on this magnified attention for my petty requirements. arranged marriages are arranged; how inconsiderate would it be, do you think, to have to change something so arranged already? i merely question, for perhaps you need to start showing emotions that should be given access to. i know you are not a machine with a stone heart, roy. and so do you. so enough with it.
matters of the heart are no trivial nothings. you should maybe think before saying such things. [/blockquote] love, juliette [/blockquote][/blockquote] [/blockquote]

Juliette,
I am insulted.
Potter's ability to wear his heart on his sleeve makes his weaknesses easy to pinpoint, dearest Juliette. His skill has yet to be proved and so his arrogance is not yet deserved. Do not let word of this get around, Juliette. A Selwyn supporting the Gryffindor team? Preposterous.
Perhaps I only have this magnified attention to your petty requirements simply so father does not do so. You very well know that he will not take well to anything short of perfection, Juliette. I only ask for your benefit. As for the marriage, it is just that. Arranged or not, I shall be married to a respectable pureblood witch. Nothing less is expected of me. The same should be said for you, the daughter who has not been casted out of the family. Father will be sure to marry you off to a respectable pureblood man and you will expect to go along with such a marriage.
You misjudge the situation. Matters of the heart are unnecessary. Just as with Potter, it opens others up to your weaknesses. Weakness is not an option; it is a trivial nothing. Thus, the matters of the heart, as you o say, are trivial nothings. There is no reason to wear your heart on your sleeve. Perhaps you are spending too much time with Gryffindor.
