I’m socially awkward... need I say more?
Needless to say I don’t really have many friends, most people think me a little different you see? How I can be so loud and yet so incapable of making an impression is beyond me. I’m shy as all hell... but seem to have been born without an inside voice. Go figure.
Either god has it out for me... or he had big plans for my vocal chords. Perhaps I was destined to become a preacher... or a Chaplin? Priest? Father? ... whatever, I think you get the picture.
In any case, I doubt he ever really intended for me to fall in ‘like’ with my best friend. That one is completely on my head. It’s stupid, I know... but it’s not as if I could really help it. She doesn’t know of course, I don’t exactly go screaming it from rooftops after all. As far as I’m concerned, she never has to know either. I figure by the time she settles down and finds a boyfriend, I’ll be over her...
