[style=width:300px; height: 300px; background: url(http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/jj566/mildevo/frank/frank-10.jpg)] , i should've kissed you finishing adjust his belt buckle, he took a moment to fold back his shirt sleeves up to his elbows, pursing his lips in thought. he was grateful that remus had allowed for him to use the prefects' bathroom to clean himself up, after the both of them scrubbed clean the boys' bathroom on the second floor as part of their "recreational" activity. he hadn't meant to sound offensive or drilling when he was questioning professor castell over and over about the sure-shot of lycanthropes and vampires coinciding in a sexually-charged manner that would create the a new element of race in the world, and really, he hadn't meant for remus to join him in mere amusement.
well, it couldn't be helped; when they're subject was starting on theoretical defense against magical creatures, he could only think to throw in more questions for the incoming essays that they were sure to be had. it was his way of grabbing catch points that he would then interpret on his own, while, of course, smoking a pipe. admittedly, he became out of line with his last question, and hence, landing him to spend the rest of the afternoon being chatted away by myrtle, alongside the man he'd pulled in his descent to fiasco. perhaps he would've enjoyed the company better, had it not been for the situation a few nights ago, that had, lately, affected his activities around the school.
he reached for his tie, wound it under his collar and started at it, stopping half-way, as he always did, and upon grabbing his blazer, hoisted it up on his shoulder as he headed for the door. he was still trying to decide if whether what had transpired that afternoon with alice would hoist him up to a better place, or just ultimately pull him down to eternal misery and shame. in retrospect, he found that he had overdone his bit with coaxing her his feelings through his actions, and maybe more so with that backhand and cheek kiss, which seemed to be involuntary movements influenced by the vibe of the moment. after remus had walked-in on them just at the moment she was about to answer, he hadn't been able to even be remotely like himself around anyone. and to make matters worse, he hadn't been able to show for their arranged plan for the afternoon the following day, as professor mcgonagall hadn't been so lenient with him "inappropriately smoking" in class, and lent him to professor slughorn to help clean, rearrange, and label necessities in the dungeons as his form of detention.
well, certainly, at least he could tell himself honestly that that was involuntary.
still, he couldn't believe that he'd dared to ask such a question to her, and was torn with the relief of having it unanswered and torment with wanting to know what she would have said.
he pocketed his hand as he cracked his neck, feet descending on the stairs as he followed suit to the rest of the students, who were heading to the great hall. with a deep breath, he massaged the back of his neck, dropping his hoisted arm as the raising of it was starting to act up on his arm and shoulder again. he breathed a sigh of strain and weariness, messing up his hair with high disregard. so far, his stomach was doing a great job directing him to dinner, rather than what he would have preferred doing at that moment: having a smoke up at the astronomy tower, then just collapse as his body rests from drained to exhaustion.
he huffed in silent greeting as the form of remus caught up with him, and upon turning to enter the great hall, came a sudden smirk to curve his lips as his eyes fell on flaming red locks, chatting up a few hufflepuffs up ahead. to such an alleviating splendour of an image, he could only find a sudden, strange uplifting. and to think, that he just suddenly felt revived by the mere sight of the fox that had once kept his heart; well, this called for an acknoledgment of appreciation, didn't it? he tossed his blazer to the gryffindor table as he broke into hastened steps, the smirk quickly spreading into a grin.
at once, he wound his arms around her waist, looking over her shoulder as he spoke to her company, sorry, ladies. playtime's over. he leaned down a little further to peck her on the cheek, tightening his grip as he turned, finishing, she's mine now! with that, as he secured her closer to him, he turned them, round and round, laughing in pure bliss, until the head of their house came trotting down and told him off, which he was somewhat reluctant to acquiesce to, but nevertheless obeyed. as soon as she walked off, he quickly turned to molly, delighting her in a deep embrace as he wound his arms around her again, lifting her off the ground slightly. i was once told in clandestine, by a beautiful girl, that to enthrall a prewett, would require the element of surprise. he withdrew in kind, then puffing out his chest in a playful gesture, winking as he adjusted his collar, completely ignoring his messy tie.
so, how'd i do?
, tag: alice, molly, arthur notes: feel free to mod over frank from here on out, darls. there's really no specific order, but once we all post in, i guess that's how the order will be. and sorry if this is iffy; i just pictured the four of them eating together. :"> please forgive my lack of perception! x'DDD [/style]

WHEN WE MET I FELT MY LIFE BEGIN For some reason her mind had not left that afternoon when she strayed from her ususal group to admire the lake and then found herself being carried by Frank Longbottom back up to the castle. Every time her mind wondered to those few moments with him she felt a little flutter in her chest and within that moment it was like time froze around her. Focusing had been a bit more difficult since her brain was still back there in Frank's arms. But then there was the promise of him actually taking her to swim in the Black Lake and to maybe find the difficult and secretive Giant Squid. When she thought of that a small smile formed on her lips, but what was troubling her was the fact that she seemed to be loosing her mind over this boy. All that happened was a few charming words and soft kisses, and now she couldn't stop thinking about him.
After finishing her last class of the day Alice decided to run back to her dorm before dinner and relax for a few moments before dinner. She assended the stairs towards the gryffindor tower and quietly made her entrance while people were not focusing on her. For once she was relatively unnoticed since her friends were shoving thier nose's in books to finish an essay that had been put off. Plus she could get away unnoticed if she just tried hard enough, it was a skill her father taught her about being an Auror. Once in a while he would teach Alice and her sister a few of the moves he used when facing a dark wizard. However the skills she learned were just a few of the memories she had with her father and those memories were few and far between. But he always promised to be around more for his girls and Alice hung onto that promise for dear life when things seemed empty at her childhood home over holidays. If her sister was not there then Alice would probably consider staying at Hogwarts for this Winter Holiday.
Inside of her dorm room she kicked off her shoes and then went over to the mirror. Her fingers twisted a few locks of hair and pulled them taut as she stood there looking at herself. A very petite girl who looked so much like her mother and sisterbut with bright blue eyes. Beauty was in the eye of the beholder and Alice never considered herself to be Helen of Troy attractive or even to be desireable by all men. Frank had mentions throngs of admirers and that had thrown her for a loop since she thought everyone to be her friend. Did they need to be throngs of admirers? Couldn't they just be her friend and not be hanging out with her because they thought she was pretty?
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she pulled back from the mirror and over to her trunk. At six years old it was starting to look a bit rough and creeked as she opened the top for a new pair of sneakers. She grabbed them before slipping them onto her feet. Once again Alice was off but this time to the dinning hall where she had promised to meet her friend Molly for dinner. As she decended the stairs to the great hall she was worried about there being that awkward sort of air between them. Her secret thoughts about Frank Longbottom were probably best kept to herself and not shared with his ex girlfriend. Alice pushed open the great door and looked for the fiery red head at the Gryffindor table. The motion of her being spun around grabbed Alice's attention right away.
A smile appeared on her face as she walked towards her friend only to see the person that had been spinning her around once he set her down. The instant she saw him Alice froze and felt that same flutter. Then they embraced and Alice didn't know what to do. Just approach and sit down like nothing is happening and they won't know. And smile since they are your friends she thought to herself. Again she smiled and resumed her walking towards them. But she was on the opposite side of the table when she sat down across from them. "Hey Molly. Hi Frank" She said. That feeling of becoming the third wheel made her uncomfortable and she just hoped that she wasn't interrupting a private conversation.

IT'S HARD FOR ME TO SAY but I think you've taken my heart away
Fact was Arthur hadn’t been sleeping the last few days. Between studying for class, making sure papers were done on time, not falling asleep in class, or anywhere for that matter, and her. Yes her, his head was always full of thoughts about her, not matter what he couldn’t get them out of his. He tried and tried but nothing. He would try and think of something else, but every time he saw something that remembered him of her they were right back there again. He hadn’t been easy really, it’s not like he could just tell anyone about his love for Molly. Her name. Every time it came into his mind, or rolled off his tongue he felt his heart stop right there. But, he couldn’t. He truly couldn’t tell her how he felt, it was like something deep down stopped him. Maybe because he thought she didn’t feel the same way, was that it? No maybe it was because he wasn’t her type, he didn’t know but he had to talk about the feelings to someone soon, because he had been bottling them up for so long it was bring the poor guy down. He shook his head as he tried to force himself back to looking at the book in front on him as he lay on his bed. He knew that dinner was soon and he thought about maybe just skipping it, he didn’t feel like eating right now, he still had this paper to do, and he had put behind but well lately he hadn’t felt like doing much anymore.
But he knew his father was counting on him to set a good example for his younger brothers, so with a sigh and went back to working on his papers, knowing if he put his mind to it he could finish just in time for dinner. He could feel his stomach growling and couldn’t ignore it anymore; he needed to eat something, before someone said something to him about not eating. More than likely Lily would notice something was worn, but then again he had seen her pretty busy with everything so maybe he could get by without her noticing. Now his other friends might not, he sure knew that Frank would force him to tell him what was going on with Arthur. What was going on with Arthur right now? Merlin he didn’t even know what was going on with her right now. He sighed again and shut the book and moved it down on the floor beside his bed and he lay back staring up at the wall. It was getting close to the time that everyone was heading down to the great hall for dinner and he was still here. His stomach growled again in protest, his mind was not listening to his body right now.
If he kept this up he was going to turn into what muggles called a zombie, moping around all other the place, but because of some girl. No Molly wasn’t just some girl; he was everything, those beautiful eyes, that fiery red hair. He shook his head again, come on Arthur stop it, you’re just making it worse, plus the sound of his stomach was making it hard to think. All right he thought, since I can’t force on my papers right now, and my stomach sounds like a hungry beast I might has well get out of here and head to the great hall. He was sure the whole gang would be there right now. He got up and walked to the mirror, running his hands through his hair to fix it up, a few flicks and it was pretty good. He fixed his tie and pulled out his vest so that he at least looked proper when he got to the great hall. One last look and he walked out of the boy’s dorm and into the common room, most everyone was gone down to the great hall so it was easy to get out of there without eyes looking on him. He managed to get down the stairs before they moved and in no time he was heading towards the great hall.
He really noticed Frank a few feet away from where he was walking. It wasn’t hard to miss his close friend, Frankie always liked to make a ‘entrance’, that’s just the way. He smirked at his friend and started to walk towards the doors, when he watched the scene in front of him and he hung back, letting other students go by him and he backed against one of the walls to watch. His eyes never left the scene that was going on. Frank with a huge smile on his face liked always walked up to Molly and greeted her, in well, I guess you could say normal for Frank; he picked her up and spun her around. It’s not like Arthur wasn’t used to seeing guys be like that around Molly he had seen it throughout the years, always just hang back as they made their moves on her. The corner on his eye noticed Alice enter the room next just as Frank was done spinning Molly around and he hang back for just a bit longer. Trying to get himself together, and his stomach to stop growling, sometime went back and he finally pushed himself off the wall and walked into the great hall, his head down and feet moving as he walked to find a seat where the group was sitting, then he sat down and looked up at all of them. “Hey guys”, he said with a small smile on his face. His stomach growled loudly and he mentally kicked his stomach to stop growling right now, and not right in front of his friends right now, this was not the time. He really didn’t feel like having to explain everything right now.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i56.tinypic.com/2zgu9hc.jpg); width: 440px; padding-top:10px;]but we didn't give up hope --- molly was tired. there were many things that molly would do for a friend, and if staying up all night talking was needed she was there. that had been the case for one of her best friends mare last night. the two of them just began talking about school and life and before she knew it, it was four o'clock in the morning and molly had class only five hours later. it was a situation that molly had only been in several times before, and frankly, she had a hard time functioning without sleep. but she wasn't about to skip class. this was her last year. her biggest and final year at hogwarts and she was doing everything in her power to do well. that included not sleeping in and attending class, not matter how hard she had to try and stay awake. she would pinch herself if she had to, but she was making it to defense against the dark arts class.
if only it was that simple. unfortunately as much as molly had told herself she would be fine if she didn't think about how tired she was, class seemed to drag on like time itself had slowed. she normally quite enjoyed professor castell's classes, but his voice only seemed to irritate the gryffindor further into wanting her bed. when that class ended, she nearly ran to her room, having an hour break between classes. she would sleep for half an hour, then get up and go to her next class. well, her short lived nap only seemed to make her even more tired and she again, barely managed to get through the rest of the day of classes.
by the time dinner came around, she was so thankful she no longer needed to really concentrate on anything and just eat. she had skipped lunch after all to nap. it was a sigh of relief that she simply could relax and be tired and no one could judge her. she walked into the great hall and say a few friendly faces, including one of her best friends amelia bones, a hufflepuff. she went over to them, and began discussing plans for watching the upcoming quiddich game this weekend. luckily molly didn't have too much homework, and well, she was a sucker for supporting quiddich. she didn't play and hated flying, but she loved watching and cheering on her lions.
as they were concluding their conversation, she felt a familiar set of arms wrap themselves around her and she involuntarily sunk into them. frank set his chin on her shoulder as he interrupted the group of girls and twirled molly around, picking her up and hugging her. typical frank longbottom greeting, and she welcomed it with open arms. she let out a laugh, happy to have frank close by. frank and molly had such an interesting relationship and not many people really understood them or their friendship. they had dated for over a year and had been each other's first kiss, first real relationship and still maintained probably a more than friendly level of interaction between the two of them. most of her classmates didn't understand how they either weren't still together or were still able to be such good friends. truth was, he was a wonderful guy and molly loved him to death. there was only be one frank longbottom and she was lucky to have dated him for the time she had. but as wonderful as he was, he wasn't the right guy for molly. sure they had a lot in common and she had amazing memories with him, but they had their share of problems. sometimes no matter how much people love one another they're not meant to be together. luckily for molly, she hadn't lost frank in her life. they had stayed friends and she laughed in happiness as her feet touched down to the ground once more.
"i was once told in clandestine, by a beautiful girl, that to enthrall a prewett, would require the element of surprise. how'd i do?" molly laughed as he spoke to her, puffing out his chest. she patted his chest lightly responding to him. "wonderfully. it was just the type of surprise i needed. one that was friendly, unexpected and made me laugh." she continued moving away from her group of hufflepuff friends and to the gryffindor table for dinner. "i've had one of the worst, longest days. i only had four hours of sleep and my classes today just went on and on. i don't know how i'm even functioning still." she sat down at the table, seeing alice coming over to them as well. alice took a seat across from frank and molly and greeted them. molly smiled towards her friend, "hey alice, how was your day?"
as she spoke to alice, molly spotted arthur weasley coming over to join them for dinner. molly had known arthur since first year when they were both sorted into gryffindor. they were good friends and often hung out with frank and alice, or studied together for the classes they had together over the years. he was sweet and friendly, and molly liked being around him. she heard the loud sound of a stomach rumbling and giggled at arthur as he sat down. "someone sounds hungry! and i am too. i haven't eaten since breakfast and i'm starving. then, i'm going back to my room and sleeping until tomorrow afternoon." okay, so she probably wasn't going to sleep til tomorrow afternoon. but that would have been nice.

[style=width:300px; height: 300px; background: url(http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/jj566/mildevo/frank/frank-10.jpg)] , i should've kissed you it wasn't that he was uncomfortable; he just started wondering if scrubbing the bathroom floors on the second floor was a better alternative to the given situation he had dove himself into. weird, awkward situations were his preferred desserts when in the company of his usual peers, but it seemed that things-- emotions, feelings, even physical appearance --just had to be kept in check when in a different environment, with different people, whom he was connected with with more than one string. no, it wasn't in his repetoir to be so helplessly outmatched, outwitted, and certainly out-of-words; it was just really one of those rare moments where he just couldn't get himself to reload and engage the same way. with alice, it was like desperately trying to erase what had already been written, and he was feeling rather.. queer, to say the least.
at that moment, he didn't know whether molly being so up-close with him was doing him much favour or sending down his chances down the drain.
he gave a somewhat sheepish grin as his way of acknowledging her presence, and remained standing as arthur joined their company. he paused for a moment, eying the two, trying to steel himself from blurting out something outrageous in the presence of one such golden-haired maiden, before joining in the orchestrated laughter as he waved to his fellow gryffindor. well, i don't know if we can all spend a day without seeing your pic.. turesque.. of a face, molly, he slowed his words as he came to the end, nodding to himself, and succeeding in pulling out a thought that would give him space to breathe. in essence, it was clear that alice was not even pursuing the idea of making their last meet acknowledged, so perhaps he needn't take it so deeply. but, this was alice. i'm just.. gonna, uhh.. get, get my blazer, he spoke, trying for a goofy grin, before walking down the direction he had before, messing his hair once more.
no, no interruption from his dream girl was ever a ruined moment, but he never did like to be sent to cardiac arrest with that kind of entrance. presenting himself in the best way he knew how, to a girl that meant the world to him and him to her, was the kind of attitude that sent him spiralling to much detention and much time collapsing on his bed in the first place. it was moments like these, these overriding, overthinking moments, that he wished he could just.. smoke. taking his blazer from a few first-year girls, he waltzed back up the hall with a relaxed grin, one hand pocketed as he tried to make sense of what he was about to walk into.
dinner, with his ex-grilfriend who he remained very close with, accompanied by the guy who's also one of his best friends and secretly in love with his ex-girlfriend, and tied with the girl who was best friends with his ex-girlfriend, who also happened to be the girl that had taken his heart and hadn't even the slightest intention of giving it back.
to some extent, he felt it kind of.. exciting. despite, the arrangement. and perhaps, he could finally help out the boy who had always been captivated by the fox-lady, even though she'd been captured by him. oh, he kept it so deep, but frank was not foreign to studying mystic-eyed boys with a natural attraction and pure heart from afar, as he had already worn those shoes before. except, well, in his case, he had worn it several times. hey art, what gives? we sleep in the same dorm and i don't even have alone time? he cocked his head in a playful questioning-like manner, taking a seat and scooting himself easy next to molly, then scooting just a few centimeters away. can i just say, i am deeply appalled by our lack of connection here, he chuckles as he tries for a pained expression, clutching on his heart as he did so. clearing his throat, he grabbed a few slices of bread and what appeared to be baked maccaroni from his side. and um.. he looked to alice with a disarming smile, blinking his eyes a few times. how.. how have you been, miss logan?

Post by ALICE MARIE LOGAN on Jun 11, 2012 2:25:42 GMT
Alice had six wonderful years at Hogwarts and she was ready for her final year. A final year would be time to impress people with her grades and her abilities. Maybe she would actually get an invitation to become like her father and become an auror. Ever since she was little she looked up to her father and no what he went through on a daily bases. She loved to sit with him and listen to his epic stories when she was a smile child. In her teenage years she learned that he would make the details look larger than they really were for his child. But still Alice enjoyed the way he told the story.
After sitting at the table she looked over at Frank and then back at Molly. They had been a good pair when they were together and Alice knew that but she knew that they had been over for a while. Would it seem weird if she ever dated her friends ex boyfriend? And would her best friend think less of her? She hated to think of losing her best friend over just some guy but there was something about this one guy that kept amazing her. As she started to think and get lost in her own thoughts Alice heard him mentioning that he wanted to go get his blazer and like that he was gone.
Alice turned back to Molly and Arthur because they were still there and she smiled at them. "Classes today were just awful. I don't know why I decided to keep so many classes. I would kill for a free period once in a while. Oh well... tonight is just going to be about homework. And how was your day Molly?" She asked her since they were just making conversation. For a moment she glanced back to where Frankie had gone to but quickly back to Molly. Her gaze kept moving as she sat there with her friends. Alice was social and loved to just see everyone and everything that was going on around her. Call it ADD or whatever but it was how Alice functioned and she functioned well in their society.
When Frank returned the conversation he began speaking and her attention was instantly drawn to him. It was like he was the light in a room and the rest of them were moths drawn to this light. His charm and his charisma always amazed Alice and she hoped that there would be more to them other than his great charm to entertain her for a few moments before he found someone else. Her heart was guarded and she did not want to rush in and feel the sting of an awful break up.
But then he turned to her and asked her about her day. All she could do was smile and start to blush slightly since she needed to think of something witty to impress him. "Very well Mr. Longbottom, I've been busy with classes and more classes. But I was supposed to go for a swim but the person I was going with never showed up." She commented as she looked back into his eyes. Right now she was not about to call him out on that in front of his friends but she had hoped to reschedule.

IT'S HARD FOR ME TO SAY but I think you've taken my heart away
These thoughts of Molly were taking up every moment of Arthur’s time. He couldn’t wrap his mind around school papers; he was getting to the point where he couldn’t handle it anymore. He had tried everything, playing magical chess with his brothers, reading a book, working on his papers, but nothing no matter what he tried to do push away those thoughts. When he was younger they had just been small thoughts of her, but now has the years had gone by and things had changed they were there all the time. He always tried to keep his cool when he was around Molly, during class and when the group was together. He hadn’t told very many people about his feelings towards Molly, it wasn’t something Arthur could talk about comfort, and he was scared to say the least. It was true, he was scared to tell Molly he loved her, he had sat back and watched other guys date her, each time a small part of his hurt inside because he told himself she either didn’t feel the same way and he would look like a fool standing there, or maybe he wasn’t her type. He didn’t know, he was being stupid, was what frank would tell him, when of course Arthur had finally told him about it.
It was weird telling Frank about his feelings for Molly, because well he knew that Frank and Molly had dated and where well still pretty close. Normally he liked to be done for dinner early so that there would be room for the group to sit when they all came in and sit together. But lately he hadn’t really felt like doing anything. This is what love does to you; his father had told him when he had last sent a letter to him. He had to get up the courage to tell her pretty soon, because it was controlling his life. At least if he could just tell her, then it would be better, he had gotten ready for what she might say back and if she didn’t feel the same way then well he didn’t know what he would do, but he knew that he would be ok with that. He had to hang back and wait, he really couldn’t watch what was going on right now, it would just add to everything that was going on. He nodded to a few students walking by as he leaned against the wall beside the doors to the great hall. He closed his eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath before he headed into the flow of students and went to sit with the group.
It was a site really. He was having dinner with his group of friends, a group that had him, Molly, who was his good friend and the love of his life. Then there was Frank, who was his best friend, the guy he could tell anything, who happened to be the ex-boyfriend of Molly. It felt a little weird talking to Frank about his feelings for her because of their history together, and well how close they were still now. And then there was Alice, how was also a good friend of his because well they hang out around the gang, and Molly was good friends with her, so Arthur had gotten to know Alice in the hopes he would be able to know what was going on with Molly all the time. This was there group, they pretty much did everything together but of course they always did things alone as well, there were just a group of really good friends, who had known each other for many years. Who knew what would happen to the group once they were out of Hogwarts, but only time would tell.
Then her voice broke through his thoughts. He almost felt his heart stop and for a second he couldn’t breathe or speak, he just smiled sweetly at her and nodded his head, “Err ya”, he said when she commented on him being hungry as well. God Arthur stop acting like a small child, get yourself together he told himself and mentally kicked himself for doing so. “It seems everyone is busy with classes these days, It’s all I am done these days, there’ no time for anything else”. For some of them it was there last year at Hogwarts so they wanted to make the best of it, leave there mark within the school, and others just wanted to do their best. He smirked and chuckled as Frank started on his usual act. “You’re not going to get rid of me that easy Frankie”, he said to him as he chuckled. He knew he could go to Frank about anything, even though it felt weird to talk about his feelings, Frank was always there open minded about it and trying to push him to faced it head on. It’ what made them such good friends, “Well, you know how things have been as of late”, he spoke, he hadn’t hang out with Frank in a while, he really hadn’t talk to anyone as of late, he had been pushing people away as he was trying to get his thought together and his feelings, he didn’t know what was right anymore. He would have to make a note to at least hang out with Frank sometime during the week. He watched everything going on around them, and he couldn’t help but notice the way Frank acted around Alice, as of right now. He knew his best friend well, and this was not just something his mind was playing tricks with, he would have to ask Frank later about it, not now of course. He smiled and turned his head to Alice, he hadn’t said anything to her, “Hey Alice, I do hope that you get some free time, it’s not good to push yourself too much”. He said sweetly, he cared about his friends and he hated when they were not feeling well, or pushing themselves too much, he just cared about everyone in general, he had such a big heart. It’s what made him so likeable among others.

the four of them were best friends, and as far as molly was concern, these three were almost just as close to her as her own family. heck, frank or or less was family still, and alice and arthur were great friends, and normally there was nothing but comfort with the four of them. she could have been dreaming, or it really could have been because of so many late nights studying and classes everyone was doing, but molly knew frank too well, to realize that when he went to get his blazer, there was something more to the action. he was acting nervous almost. what did he have to be nervous about?
molly shook her head, laughing at discourse that unfolded between arthur and frank. molly watched as arthur sat down across from her. his freckled face and red hair that matched her own had really grown into itself over all these years. he smiled towards frank, the two of them having smiles that could make anyone near them instinctively smile as well. "hey now boys, you're in public remember, no domestic disbutes," she teased the two. she assumed they were closer friends, outside of the four of them. she was close with alice, so she just assumed frank and arthur would have been confidants as well. therefore, when they bantered like an old married couple, molly couldn't help but tease and wonder what they were like without her present, or what they discussed.
the conversation turned back to classes and molly turned her attention first to alice, "i've had a horrible day as well. classes are such a pain sometimes. i never understood why i tried to take more than the required classes as well, especially because i have to work so hard in some of them to do well. but today i've just been uncoordinated and exhausted, and haven't been able to think clearly." she rubbed her eyes, wanting to wake herself up slightly, as well from the stress of the day that had just occurred. "i don't even want to think about homework. tonight, i shall live in denial and pretend i have no homework. then i'll deal with that reality tomorrow." arthur also commented towards alice, somehow not really making eye contact with molly. in fact, he hadn't really said anything to her at all, or looked at her. something was up with him too.
molly shook the thoughts. all of her friends seemed to be acting weird, and that just wasn't normal, so obviously she was imagining this, or making things out to be bigger than they were. it was when frank finally acknowledged alice that molly had to almost double take the scene. he called her 'miss logan'? when did frank ever call people by that? alice, or al, or aly, or some other made up nickname, but miss logan? something was going on with frank, that was for sure. molly knew him too well, and if he were stupid enough to not think she'd notice, he was wrong. and then, alice returning the comment with 'mr longbottom'. did alice call him that normally? when did the four of them start calling one another mr and miss? molly was too tired for this and her head was starting to spin with confusion as to what may or may not be happening around her.
she rubbed her head again, hating that she wanting to fall asleep almost as badly as she wanted to eat. "wait, who were you supposed to meet at the lake?" molly asked, as if she were behind in the conversation and just now reeling over it in her mind. the past few minutes of their meeting reeled over in her mind as well, as she came to no answer why her closest friends seemed to not quite be acting like themselves. she let out a sigh of air and shook her head with a slight laugh. "okay, either its just me, and i'm so tired i'm hallucinating, or something is going on here. why are the three of you acting so strange?"
