VERA AND DANIEL: oh oh oh i have an idea! ver is only one year older than daniel, so she most likely knows him. perhaps they dated each other when they were in hogwarts (vera could have been his first real girlfried?), but in the end it didn't work out and they just became good friends. i could see them getting along still and maybe having a bit of physical attraction for each other. like dan ver prefers to be light hearted and sarcastic instead of serious and dramatic, quidditch is her favorite sport (captain of the gryffindor team), and she has a strong love for muggle culture! perhaps throughout their friendship they realize how much they actually like each other and end up together, or they could just be very good friends.


ELLEN AND DANIEL: elle used to be very good friends with dan's sister because of their love of quidditch. perhaps their two families have always been kind of close? ellen would probably think of daniel as an older brother because he is so much like hers was. idea! maybe dan was bffs with elle's older brother (died in a recent quidditch accident). they were close in age, and he played pro quidditch too!

Ooh! I like that. Dan would have started dating really young, but she could be the first person he got serious with. Lost his virginity to her and such, serious. I imagine it just didn't work out because Dan - being Dan, particularly at the time was devotely obsessed with Quidditch and was also a bit of a thrill-seeker. Not saying that he cheated on her specifically, but he failed in prioritizing. So, boyfriend material, he was not. So they would have pretty much broken over his lack of emotional commitment I think. And seeing as Vera is a rather light-hearted person, I could see them ending it on casual terms. Fast forward to now. They wouldn't see much of each other apart from when Dan makes (rather frequent) visits to Hogsmeade or elsewise during the Holidays. But I think, when they do run into each other there would a rather visible under current of sexual tension (which is just a squeeful of awesome cause I'm a junkie for that stuff xD) and seeing as they have loads in common I like to think that neither of them are fond of leaving each others company. Dan would also be fairly affectionate with her despite everything, because that's just who he is. And ultimately, I can see them trying to rekindle the flames for a period of time, however - I think Madie was wanting to create his final or something. I'm not sure. So for now I'm going to leave that open ended. But if you would prefer them to stay friends I am okay with that! xD

YES. YES. YES. I can totally see that. And Dan losing a best friend would definitely be something worthwhile to play on. I like to think he and Ellen have a good relationship to that affect; I think he'd be rather brotherly and affectionate with her. And is prone to teasing her. Though, in regards to her brothers death, he'd be softer with her and I'd like to think that they could/would mourn together at one point.

DAN AND ELLEN: perhaps we could do a thread in the past after the funeral or something? it could be really sad and heartbreaking, or maybe she seeks him out now.

If you want to start one for them, feel free C: Seeing as you don't have any threads with her yet and waiting for me to start one might take a couple days. oh dear cousin! so good to see you! yeah, pretty sure this is not how they're meetings will be handled. obviously they would see much of one another seeing as they are both family and slytherin's, duh. but i can honestly say that regulus will not like andromeda. she used to be rather timid and shy and quiet when she was younger, but upon entering hogwarts her mind was opened to the possibilities of friendships and therefore does not care about the purity of blood and the like but she'd never admit that to family, of course. she is still in the happy delusion that she will still be loved when her family hears of her beliefs. anyway i'll let you decipher how regulus will see her. maybe he tries to steer her away from the 'riff-raff' that is muggle-borns and the like? who knows.
