brianna claire o'shea
full name: Brianna Claire O'Shea
age: Fifteen
year: Fifth year
birthday: August first
blood line: half-blood
occupation: student
house: Hufflepuff
wand: Eight inches, holly wood, dragon heartstring core, pliable and strong
At fifteen years old, Brianna Claire O’Shea has commonly been mistaken for a fourth, third, and even a second year at one point or another, and this is all due to the fact that she is incredibly small for her age. Standing at only five feet and one inch, she is left to stare up at everyone that passes her by, even some of the first and second years, all of which make her just a little bit indignant. She weighs in at about one hundred and five pounds soaking wet and has this appearance of being a small and frail girl who would break under any decent amount of physical pressure. Her overall appearance is rather awkward considering she’s barely filled out in any of the places that matter, but overall she’s actually quite proportional. While it doesn’t look like it, Brianna is actually quite athletic, but most of the time this is only shown when she’s running through the hallways to get out of some trouble.
Blonde hair falls just past her shoulders in natural waves that sometimes don’t even show up while light blue-green eyes settle on a face that appears to have a child-like innocence, despite her mischievous ways. There’s really nothing that stands out about Brianna; she’s a rather normal looking teenage girl who seems to be somewhat abnormally pale and short. Brianna doesn’t have much of a sense of style nor does she really care much for paying attention to what the trends are. She wears whatever is comfortable to her and then adds her own flair to them, even if that flair doesn’t really make sense to other people.
personality ,,
INTELLIGENT it's not much a surprise really, to find that this Hufflepuff student doesn't have a problem hitting the books and finishing her homework, or that she passes all of her exams with relative ease ( all depending on the subject of course ). However, a lot of what she does depends a lot on the fact that she actually takes the time to study and read whatever material she's been given. Does she go out of her way to shove her intelligence out in the world? Of course not, but she makes sure she does well enough in school to please her parents.
OUTGOING now hold on, an outgoing Hufflepuff? Why yes, yes she is. She's not the kind of girl who is going to shove herself into your face or force you to go on adventures with her, but she's charismatic and making friends with people seems to be something that she can just do quite naturally. Of course a lot of these friendships are dependent on whether you're accepting of halfbloods and whatnot, but she's never been one to care about what your house or blood status is.
SUBTLE at least for the most part. We've established that she's anything but shy, yet she has a certain amount of decorum about her that stops her from jumping up and down when she's excited, yelling when she's angry, or showing any kind of extreme emotion whenever the time may call for it. Brianna doesn't force her presence onto people, she simply sets it out there and if you take notice of it then there's a good chance she's going to stick to you like glue.
MISCHIEVOUS what is this? Another trait that doesn't necessarily fit in with the Hufflepuff house? Well yes, Brianna has a mischievous streak that runs through her body and she's been known to play one or two harmless pranks, mostly inside of her own common room and toward the people that she tolerates. She likes to make people laugh and considers it a great win if she can make them laugh at themselves in the process of being pranked. She's never done anything that could really get her into trouble or put her into detention.
NAÏVE this word pretty much describes Brianna better than any other word out there. She’s not so naïve to let dirty jokes slip past her ( though the occasional one does go right over her head ), but the main thing she seems to miss out on is flirting. Sure, she’s had a crush here or there, but she’s never quite understood what it was and never acted on it; she’s completely unaware of whatever sex appeal she may have, thinks she’s a rather plain looking female, and doesn’t think that anyone looks at her like anything more than a fifteen year old prankster who has problems acting her own age.
TEMPER Brianna has a hidden temper; her easygoing personality makes it a bit difficult to really get her angry. Sure, she’s capable of a harsh word here or there if she’s slightly upset, but to truly see her angry takes quite a bit of button pushing…or rather button mashing. However, once angered, Brianna is like the Hulk…minus the large green bit and the mass of physical strength…so she’s really not like the Hulk. She does, however, have a tongue as sharp as barbed wire and her voice can reach volume levels of epic proportions. Brianna calms down rather slowly, however once calm, she’s not above apologizing if it’s needed nor will she hold a grudge…unless given a reason.

THE FAMILY
Timothy O’Shea – Father – Muggle – Alive
Simóne O’Shea – Mother – Witch – Alive
Johnathon O’Shea – Brother – Wizard – Alive
Brianna Claire O’Shea was born on the first of August, to Timothy and Simóne O’Shea. Timothy is a muggle who, at the time he met Simóne, knew absolutely nothing about the wizarding world. How he learned, Brianna never asked and therefore was never told, however at the time of her birth they already had one child, Johnathon O’Shea, who was only two years old at the time. Brianna can only assume that her father knew and understood something about the wizarding world before her birth for the plain and simple fact that when her brother began showing the signs of being a wizard, he was unaffected. Brianna, on the other hand, who was still just a few years too young to understand the full extent of what was happening to her brother, found it surprising, terrifying, and cool all at one time; a medley of emotions that took her a few years to get over.
The relationship between the siblings was a close one; Brianna was constantly following her brother around the house and he would oblige in playing games with her, even at the expense of missing a day with his friends. She was always just a little bit too naïve and a little bit too innocent, almost forcing Johnathon to watch over her and become that protective older brother that you read about. When Johnathon got his letter to Hogwarts and Brianna learned that he was going to be going away for school, she hated the thought of it, not knowing what she was going to do without him around. This was, however, around the same time when Simóne began to teach Brianna a little bit about what she might experience.
There was no guarantee that she was going to show any kinds of properties like her brother had, which was the first thing that her mother prepared her for, however that was unneeded. Less than a year after Johnathon had gotten his letter his younger sister began showing some of the same signs that he had been and she got her letter at eleven years old. Her first year at Hogwarts was awash in confusion and majesty, swallowing Brianna without a moment’s hesitation and it was difficult for her, or at least it would have been if her brother hadn’t been watching out for her. Two years ahead of her, Johnathon made sure that she stayed on her feet through the whole of her first year.
She had little time to make friends, though there were a couple of people that she spent quite a bit of time with outside of classes, but she was so focused on doing well that she was afraid to have any kind of social life, and her second year at Hogwarts went much of the same way. It wasn’t until her third year that Brianna learned she could relax and have fun while still keeping up with her schoolwork, and she slowly began to building lasting friendships and even a reputation. This reputation was one of being a little imp; she would play small little pranks, harmless and quite hilarious when they weren’t happening to you, and if they did happen to you then it would be funny afterward, at the least.
Brianna still had a habit of hanging around her brother quite often, attempting to distance herself from him at least a little bit. Now in her fifth year at Hogwarts, Brianna is quite intent on keeping up the reputation that she has worked oh so hard to build over the past few years.[/ul]

Brianna slipped out of her bedroom door and looked around slowly, trying to find a sign that her stepmother was in the house. She hadn’t heard any noises, meaning that she was either already gone or she was still asleep…even though it was already ten o’clock in the morning and most people would have been gone for work. The teenager wasn’t sure what it was that her stepmother did for work, but her hours never seemed to be consistent, which was why leaving her room was a risk of being seen. She thought that the way stepmothers hated their stepchildren was something that only happened in those stupid, clichéd story tales that she use to read in the library, but apparently people like that really did exist. Slipping through the hallway quietly, Brianna kept to the wall and made her way to the kitchen.
Despite her predicament, a smile crossed her features and she tried not to laugh, choosing instead to hum lightly; Brianna was giving herself her own spy music. It really was how she felt, especially with her crouched position. Okay, so maybe the small blonde was being a little overly cautious, but with her imagination it was just impossible not to be. Into the kitchen she snuck, looking around before using her socks to slide across the linoleum and to the fridge, popping it open and snatching a juice bottle before running to her bedroom where Johnathon was at. Brianna closed the door to their shared room just as she heard the creak of their stepmother’s door as it was opening. She giggled lightly and looked at Johnathon, “told you i could make it before she saw me.”
Brianna finished getting ready, slipping into shoes and putting her juice and book into her bag before opening their bedroom window. Sitting on the sill as one would sit on a horse, the blonde looked at her brother and smiled, “have fun at work and don’t forget to pick me up at the rec. Center when you get off.” It was their routine; Johnathon would go to work and Brianna was supposed to spend her days at the recreation center…not that she ever did. Hopping out the window, the teenager sprinted out across the lawn and across the street, barely pausing long enough to check for cars, and finally stopped sprinting to stroll at a leisurely pace.
She was going to take her sweet ass time walking to the recreation center. It wasn’t a bad place; it was just boring…and cold. They had the a/c cranked to keep the room at a “comfortable” seventy degrees and Brianna did not like this “comfortable” setting. She made the mistake her first few days of not bringing a sweatshirt and just about froze her ass off. Brianna slipped inside to the recreation center, got the punch on her card that showed she had been there, and sat around for about ten minutes before leaving again. She didn’t go through the front, that would be stupid, and instead slipped out the back. The employees kept a door back there propped open for when they went out on smoke breaks. Checking that no one was outside, Brianna made her escape.
The teenager ran through the back lot and down a couple of alleyways, almost tripping over a cat at one point, and finally made it to the edge of the city. The woods were full of hiking trails and she slipped in between the trees, finding one of the trails and hiking up in. Brianna only went far enough to find a decent clearing, where she parked her butt and pulled out her book and juice, opening the latter first for a drink and the former to the page she had bookmarked last. She was almost finished with this book and, assuming she went without interruptions, could finish it today, make it to the library for a new one, and then back to the recreation center before Johnathon showed up.[/blockquote]
