being part-vampire, if you think about it, isn't actually that big of a deal. the cravings aren't as potent, the urge for bloodshed isn't pumping in the mind everyday. but when you're whole family is a mix of blood you can't understand, then the whole situation changes entirely.

(b a c k g r o u n d) parents split after finding out their mother's love affair with one of their father's business partners just this recent summer.
the youngest of the three, mr. avery here is much more inclined to the ways of persuasion and pleasurable accompaniment. he's more of the open, outspoken type who has an irritable personality of being an outspoken person with the brain, as well as the brawns. much like his sister, he knows what to say at all times, but differ in the way that he sways with bended rules and half-truths. there is some factor as to why he's essentially a hard one to pin down: he wears his heart on his sleeve, which he has learnt to hide by being afar in such a teasing distance. (if that makes sense;essentially, he's a wreck when it comes to feelings. youngest and all) i'd imagine for him and mika to be close, he being submissive and acting much like a child around her. since the divorce, it'd be a much likely instance if he were to be seeking for her presence in such distressing times.

this lady right here, is the picture perfect image of someone who longs for the person she can't have. still, she longs for him, anyway.
hestia has had her eyes on kevin heart for quite a number of years now, which, for anyone who'll ever find out, will most likely describe it as the news of the century (save for the rising of death eaters, lord voldy, etc.) see, hestia is more for logic, intellectually arousing matters; more overly concerned with facts, hypothesizing, theorizing, writing, correcting people, being strict-- the like. it's rare for her to show sympathy or even admit to liking someone, as she believes for them to be mere distractions and nothing more.
what i'd like to play around with, is the idea that something might happen between these two, but such a brief and temporary shooting star that will immediately fade. kevin has just been told that the love of his life (who doesn't know it yet) slept with a guy that cared nothing for her, so i cannot imagine for him to be readily eager to take any further actions than be just the shoulder to cry on (in fact, i think that just goes for everyone who's in this kind of situation). in this sense, i'd believe there to be a comfort between hestia and kevin, and then some smut/fluffy things that should just show the both that they're heading to a direction they shouldn't be, and end up as close friends. they'll be the kind of "couple" who everyone thinks is right for each other, who should be a forever after but never will be.

miss pepper is the epitome of the "girl-next-door", the one that everyone just falls in love with because of her sweet sincerity and deep compassion for other people's welfare. and she also happens to be one of frank longbottom's exes.
there are no qualms from me as to how she spans out over time, but the challenge i saw here was, what if they were to be betrothed? every pureblood family's gotta go through that phase sometime. i'd like to think that she still has lingering feelings for him, and vice versa (as always, though undoubtedly moderate), so when news comes of this arranged proposal, well, shit starts to go down. problem is, he's also in love with one alice logan.
now, their past relationship was just as blissful and perfect as a moonlight kiss, so it'd be no wonder that everyone would see her reacting overjoyed by this news. there'll be a lot of confusion on frank's part, since he would think that his grandfather should know enough not to set him up with these kinds of situations, but at the same time, may actually contemplate on the whole thought of it. there will be no doubt as to who his final will be, but why not create super intense drama that drives you to the edge of the seat while there's still time to do so, right?

our beloved ed westwick shall take the place of either a yaxley or urquhart (please pm first if the idea is inclining to the former), who shall be the supposed betrothed of one juliette selwyn.
"ed" is sly, arrogant, but in every sense deeply frank and right. he's a perfectionist, and doesn't like the idea of marring his life, present or future, in any way whatsoever. silver-tongued, his selfishness and territorial personality, not to mention his intimidating presense, makes his popularity in the campus almost as broad as mcgonagall's detentions. however, i'd like for it to be twisted somehow, when he and juliette both learn of their arrangement. she has just learned, after all, that her father wouldn't be remaining with the living for long, so it's supposed that he made this final decision for her for a parting gift and blessing (as the youngest, her father favoured her over her siblings). which will undoubtedly make things complicated (if not already) with alistair macmillan, of whom she is currently dating (and future).
juliette, loving her father, isn't, at any rate, in position where she can question this decided proposal, so she will be torn and completely vulnerable to emotional ties. now i'd like to see "ed" strung out and all over juliette, frustrated with himself, at first, for even be having feelings for such a lady, but will soon embrace it and, with the territorial instincts, endeavour to make her feel the same way. this plot has some major instances where big things will clash, so i've no doubt that there'll be some delicious drama about to be spilled in the site.
