apart from the obvious ones of course. james is friendly
and will chat with anyone, anywhere so he needs lots of friends
and from houses all over. also quidditch buddies/rivals as well of
course. he's always up for fun or for a party and likes to show-off
be center of attention.

L O V E
you know the score, he's head over flippin heels in love
with a certain lily evans who still doesn't seem to want
anything to do with him. go figure? he flirts with any girls except
perhaps slytherin ones (unless they start flirting first) but that
doesn't mean he's into anything serious. he is however looking
for someone he can use to make lily jealous. there will have been
a couple of fleeting relationships in the past but they will have
dumped him as soon as they realised there was only one girl
who had his attention and it wasn't them.

E N E M I E S
that slimeball snivellus snape. plenty of these i
imagine. most will be slytherins because he can't stand them. but
also anyone who doesn't like his arrogance or has been on the
wrong end of a prank. he's pretty laid back most of the time but if
you know how to push his buttons he can get wound up pretty
easily.

Right. So these two have got to thread. It's either that or lock them up in a room with each other and see what happens. But I think we don't want that..

ANYWAYS, Lily still hates his guts but she is slowly, slowlyyy, starting to have feelings for him. Not that she would tell him however but yes.

hmmm, i think james would be quite suspicious of her. he would most definitely of heard from sirius that she's his favourite cousin but he still wouldn't trust her too much because she's a black in slytherin. he'd assume she must have some ulterior motive all of the time. he's quite one track mind is james so he'd find it difficult to see past the fact that she's a black sister but he'd be more civil towards her than her sisters.

-- i don't really think these two would get along. classic slytherin and gryffindor opposites. i could see them barely tolerating each other at best, and throwing rude and witty comments at one another in passing. they also would meet on the quiddich field, which would spark even more competition between the two. yeah, i can't see them liking one another lol

I'm feeling a brother/sister relationship? Constant teasing and bickering but they're also super protective over one another. They can also be the ultimate party duo, since both of them like to have a great time and drink buckets of firewhiskey. And considering Lily and Marlene are basically sisters, James can gush over Lily and push Mare to convince Lily to go out with him. Marlene can come to James for boy advice, etc. Feel free to suggest anything!

* Dorcas & James - she's like an older sister to him, or at least she sees him like that, somehow ... she's the only older quidditch player for the lions and while people might think she was jealous when James got the captain position instead of her, she's not blind and knows that it was the best option. She's a bit of a nutter also, might give him a hard time on the pitch seeing as she goes head first and is a bit of a risk taker .... although she's quite good at what she's doing. Alything else .... no motherly advice from her as she'll probably tell him, in regard to Lily at least, to go jump in the lake in December ... she doesn't like when a guy is winning over a girl. Feel free to jump in with all sorts of things.

James says; too right I'm the best option' and he's going to work her and the rest of his team into the ground in order to make them invincible so she better listen and do what he says or he's gonna get mad. overall though yeah I like that he sees her as an older sister, but that cool one that lets him get away with stuff rather than the motherly type that's always fussing over him? he'd be quite confused as to why she didn't like him chasing after Lily and being James would probably confront her about it like 'whut is your problem with me wanting Evans!?' butyeah, that's all I got [:
