Some may have said through the years that a name meant nothing to some degree or another but they were surely muggles and knew nothing better then just that. Of course there were wizarding families as well that seemed to lack pride in who they were and where they came from. Though without a doubt it was safe to say that the Montagues were not like that. Like any respectable pureblood family they maintained on strong hold and belief on the fact that they were good and perhaps even the best. And that was among one of the many beliefs that were past to their children, which included their son Alexei. A name in itself that held a certain level of respect in itself, in fact, demanded it. Though along with such a title the name as well carried a certain reputation in itself and not one that was all together good. Well known for his superior feelings towards himself and a select group of others as well as his very open displays of affection with both genders. However, he has a greater reputation with females then males but that's not saying that a person would not see him completely interested in one male or another at any given time. The reactions of others towards this behavior is not something that he worries about or pays any mind to. More then anything he cares about himself and only himself nothing more and nothing less then that.
While others might think him overly haughty and a complete bigot, those whom he actually deems worthy of being in his presence would find that there is much more to the seemingly shallow person then meets the eye. What all that happens to be are things that you will have to figure out on your own if you are able and worth his time. If not you may feel free to fabricate what really does go on behind closed doors with the things that Alexei has chosen to keep private. And those are many things that he keeps locked up tight for the sake of himself and not so much his family. The whole lot of them secretly not among those he would consider his favorite people and thus he cares not about how his actions effect them and instead everything he does is for himself. Everything is about himself. That is the only thing that matters.
