[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] I'M AFRAID OF WHAT I WILL DISCOVER INSIDE The Words: 707 The Tag: open to all who wish to party The Notes have fun! it was saturday night and olivia was ready to get her party on. she felt the need for alcohol in her system. she felt the need to want to forget and to be happy and to feel alive once again. it had been a long week, and she was ready for the release a party provided. she had attempted finishing some homework for next week and decided that enough was enough and she was ready to party. she had heard something was going on tonight in the room of requirement, and she threw on some partying clothes and got ready to head out. the past week had been a hard one, filled with nightmares and olivia waking up in a panic frenzy. she was dreaming about zack, and that he was still alive, but in trouble. she could save him if only she reached him in time. usually there were puzzles or tasks she had to complete, and last night she was running and running down a hallway to zack that never seemed to end. it was as if she would get to the end of the hallway and to the end of his bed and he was pulled away from her. she kept running harder and harder, wanting so badly to save him. and a clock counted down the time so she could hear the time running out in her ears. and when the clock finally counted down to zero she would never reach zack in time, and would wake up screaming, or crying, or breathless. her roommates really didn't appreciate why she was screaming in the middle of the night, but if it was up to olivia she wouldn't be screaming either. she wouldn't be dreaming in the first place. tonight she didn't want to dream. she wanted a break from the dreams and the nightmares and wanted a place to escape. so the party she heard about was just the place to do it. olivia wasn't a stranger to the effects of alcohol. she had learned them quite well over the past year in trying to forget. she had also learned how meaningless sex could feel good in the moment, but disgusting the next morning, though she would never admit that to herself. it was just another way to forget everything that she shared with zack. alcohol was one of the best ways to help her forget. she had more or less promised a professor that she would try and start taking classes more seriously, and this week she really had tried hard. but school didn't come easy to the hufflepuff and the more time she put into assignments, the more she got frustrated. she was lucky to have friends that wanted to help, but she was sick and tired of school and just wanted to have fun. a girl deserved fun in her life every once in a while right? even if said girl would feel horrible tomorrow morning. but at least the bliss of tonight would make it all bearable. when she arrived at the room of requirement, the party had already begun and she was surprised at the number of people that were already there drinking and laughing and socializing. some faces she knew, others she barely recognized. of course, olivia probably had met many other people than she remembered when she was drunk. then there was always that awkward moment a week later when someone tried to talk to her and she had no idea who they were. thankfully, she was a very friendly person, even when she wasn't drunk and tried to play those situations off like she knew the person or what they were talking about. most of the time it worked. she looked around the room, taking in the people and wondering immediately where the alcohol was at. she found the spot where a group gathered around two tables filled with alcohol, and immediately downed three shots of vodka. they burned as they went down, but the familiar sensation was a kind memory to olivia. she shook her head and let out a yell, grabbing a half empty bottle of flavoured vodka. "let's get this party started," she exclaimed to anyone and everyone that was around her. |
