The red head stretched her arms above her head, hearing the telltale crack of her spine that warned her she had been too hard on her body these last few days. It wasn't as if she had been trying for it, it was just one of those things that seemed to just...happen. Konstantine had been carrying around a heavy book bag all week, practicing for their next game, chasing Luke Denmark around the grounds....nothing too out of the ordinary.. Currently she was on the Quidditch Pitch waiting for Luke to show up, they were going to hang out. Maybe do a few Quidditch drills and talk some. Konstantine always fell more comfortable in her own skin around Luke, he just seemed to carry with him this aura of calm, not to mention that smile would melt anyone's nerves.. She tugged her long fiery red hair into a ponytail and stretched out her body so her muscles wouldn't lock up while flying. It had happened before and she had been struck so hard in the stomach with a bludger that 3 ribs cracked and a severe loss of appetite. Once that had ended she was fine but she made sure to stretch and limber herself up every time she went flying for fear of a bludger hitting her somewhere more critical like her head or her chest. She'd heard stories of a bludger hitting you so hard in the chest at such an alarming rate that your heart would just stop...and that would be it. She shook off the thought, this evening was about fun...However she did notice that the time they had decided upon to do this was potentially romantic, it was an hour or so before sunset and they had been planning to be out for awhile so they'd be flying till the sky became a canvas of fire tones and creamy clouds as the sun sunk away below the horizon and the lightning bugs came out and danced among the stars....had there been reason behind that? Whether or not there was Teeny was prepared for whatever may come... Her broom was laid out on the ground and she was perched on the box of quidditch gear waiting for him to show up, wondering perhaps what he would look like with the shadows of sunset on his face... Luke was a man who was very confused. He had a lot on his mind and a lot that kept him up at night. Between his friendship with Lily and his feelings for her, and his feelings for Konstantine, or....Teeny as she preferred to be called, he wasn't sure what he wanted. Lily was a great friend of his, he was able to laugh and joke with her like no other girl. He was attracted to her, but .....he was also attracted to Teeny.
Teeny was rough and tumble, the kind of girl who could not only take a hit, but deal one back with just as much, if not more force than the one she'd gotten. She was funny and kind at the same time. She had a smile that just ...lit up a room. Her laughter was.....like music to him. He enjoyed being around her, just....near enough to hear her laugh and talk. Sometimes, he sat by her and read a book, just to enjoy hearing her speak. He wasn't sure though, if his feelings for her were as strong as his feelings for Lily, or if....they were stronger.
Today, he was walking toward the Quidditch pitch, his broom over his shoulder, a Nimbus One Thousand. With each step, he planned out his training session with the girl. First he'd make sure she was okay after getting hit in the stomach by that bludger. Why she hadn't been wearing her padding, he would never know. He'd been so worried about her, he'd actually carried her to the Hospital Wing himself in his arms. He was certain she couldn't remember it, he was sure that she'd been out cold during it. But he remembered everything, how light she was, almost like a feather, and how ....fragile she suddenly seemed.
As he walked onto the pitch, he saw her from behind and smiled, her hair was....glistening in the light of the setting sun. "Teeny!" He called and smiled as she turned, god....she was pretty. He headed over and then paused, "Hold still." He said, reaching out and gently sliding a hand into her beautiful red locks. When he withdrew it, he held open his hand to expose a couple fireflies, "You don't need any extra help to make your head look like it's on fire, but I admire your bold choice in hair accessories." he teased lightly and then let them fly away and mounted his broom, "Alright. I figured we'd start with target practice. And Teeny? ...Padding. Please?" He said, giving her a serious, no nonsense sort of look.

She heard a voice call her name and turned her head to see him, her heart stopping for a moment.. What the hell was this? Why was she so....taken by this boy...Why was she taken at all...Teeny wasn't the type for relationships really, not the type to dream about a wedding and babies, all because of an irrational fear that she'd turn on them, or they'd turn on her. This was explained by the way her mother had left her life...calling her IT and telling her father he was harboring disgusting devil children... Now was not the time to think about such things though, Teeny smiled and waved to him as he approached before folding her hands in her lap. He was so...handsome, and that smile oh god.. She remembered waking up in the hospital wing after her accident and he was sitting there just holding her hand, more worried than she'd ever seen anyone look... He had carried her there and stayed by her side waiting for her to wake up...oh how sweet... And he'd visited every day after that. Suddenly he was telling her to hold still and his hand was in her hair, her cheeks felt like they were on fire...Was she blushing? Teeny didn't blush...no no ...that was...not possible.. She smiled softly when he showed her the fireflies... "Oh how beautiful... I had no idea they were in there.... well if that isnnae a pleasant surprise i dunnae what is.." She chuckled slightly nervously.. She stood making sure all of the fireflies were gone and listened to his stern request. "Fine.. fine... It wasnnae my fault that someone hid my padding.." she said and strapped it on before letting the balls loose and starting their drills. Luke was a very good flier, just about as good as she was which meant they were fairly matched... The time passed quickly and by the time their drills were over the sun was setting and she found herself staring off in the distance.. They landed and she put away the balls and the equipment and stared at that sunset a smile growing on her face.. "Will ye look at that.." She whispered watching it just sink below the horizon and that fiery, creamy sky come out. "Have ye ever seen anythin more beautiful."

He could have sworn Teeny was blushing, but....no way....she never blushed! It must have been a trick of the light. With a smile, he nodded his head. Luke loved her accent, it make everything she said sound cooler than everything else anyone else would say. Was there anything he didn't like about Teeny? He hadn't found that out yet. He chuckled and said, "Yeah it certainly was surprising. Kind of funny too." and he wondered why she sounded so....nervous.
"You didn't have to start flying." Luke pointed out, "You could have borrowed some from another team or something." He knew that asking to borrow equipment would probably get her teased by the other team, but it was better than getting hurt, which she had been. He watched her put it on and then flew up and into the air.
She was a superb flier, she was quick and skilled and a perfect match for him. She didn't go easy on him and he didn't go easy on her at all. He played beater for the other team to help her practice dodging and striking the bludgers. He sent them flying at her, the crack of the bat could be heard audibly throughout the entire pitch and for quite some distance.
When it was her turn to play Chaser for the opposing team, Luke defended his goal posts well. He used his large frame to his advantage, sometimes allowing the ball to slam into his chest or shoulders or even his back before he caught the quaffle and heaved it back. It might have been a friendly training session, but that didn't mean he wasn't serious about it. He was moving as if it were a real match and he gave Teeny no slack, sometimes calling for her to kick it up a notch and play harder.
By the time they were finished, Luke had a move he wanted to show to Teeny. He was standing next to the girl and he looked over at her with a smile, then back to the sunset. "Yeah.....it is pretty nice." He said, just watching it for a bit. "I like to watch it from the Astronomy Tower too." He told her, glancing over at her with another smile.
"Hey.....want to see a move my....my dad and uncle used to do?" He asked with a smile, "It's called the Denmark Special. I kind of wanted to play Chaser this year, but it was taken so....next year. Anyway....Iggy showed me how to do it....took me a long time to learn it and even longer to actually be able to do it without wiping out!" he was proud of his skill and wanted to show someone.

She couldn't help but laugh again, a little nervously still.. What the hell was this! No... Boys did not affect Teeny this way, they never had and they never would and that was that... but oh those eyes.... She shook the thought away sending another firefly buzzing out of her hair. "They certainly like it in my mess dun't they?" She laughed and stood finger-combing the tangles out. At his next statement she shook her head and laughed, "Ain't no way I was gunna borrow padding from the Slytherin Team....Nah... I thought I was fine. Shudda been more careful though you are right." She nodded and strapped the pads on, making sure he put on his own... It would take quite a fall to hurt Luke but you could never be too careful, at least that was what he told her. The training was phenomenal and incredibly thorough, the type of work out and specialty training she would expect from more than just a student. He acted like a professional, dodging bludgers and sending them flying her way in odd angles to challenge her... And when they were practicing his position he used his large frame as an advantage blocking the ball off from the posts and sending it through when it needed to go through.. The sunset watching was a much needed breather and she relished in the fact to be relaxing in front of it with Luke of all people. A smile spread across her lips when he told her he wanted to show her a special move. "The Denmark special eh? Well go on then show me what ye got." She nodded sitting and waiting for him to show off the move.. Was he doing this just because she was there? She shook her head, impossible... Although the way he pulled it off was utterly incredible... She was clapping and cheering, blushing the whole time.
