rp sample: "Whew!" Lloyd gasped and sat back against the ground, "I thought you'd be mad." He said and then he pointed, "Hey! I know you!" He said, "You're the gym assistant dude! Emmett.... Cullen! It's me Lloyd!" He told him brightly and then frowned and shook his head, "Nu-uh." He said, "I didn't send you the letter..... I sent it to my friend Genis Sage! He's the walking dictionary in senior year!" he exclaimed, "Professor Sage's little brother! He's only fifteen."
He gave a slight gasp and then smacked himself on the brow with the palm of his hand. "He must've figured it out!" he said with a small laugh, "He probably heard about your love for jokes from Raine and thought it was a good idea to send you in his place." He laughed, "Don't feel bad about getting tricked by a little kid, Genis is real smart! I think his name's latin for genius or something like that. Anyway....I don't got nothing you can wear but .....you wanna come to the house and dry off?" He asked, and quickly started to fill in the hole he'd dug. It didn't take much time fore the hole was filled in and he headed off.
"So..... how's Alice doing?" He asked as he led Emmett through the woods toward his house, "......I heard she and Jasper was having a .....bad time." He told her, walking along slowly. "She told me herself while we was in Paris getting me clothes." he hoped Emmett had heard about the trip, that they'd gone both to cheer Alice up and to get himself some nice new clothes, that he hadn't taken any money from the girl and that nothing had happened besides good innocent friendly fun.
"She hasn't called me to tell me anything and .....I'm kinda worried." He said, and then headed out of the forest and into a backyard with a sweet little house. It was two stories and as he entered, a German Shepard puppy leaped at his legs and yipped. "This is Regal!" He said, and the puppy tucked in his tail and slowly inched his way toward Emmett, obviously a little intimidated by him. Then, he lay on his back for a belly rub. Laughing, Lloyd said "He likes you!"
But his dog Colette, two years old by now didn't feel the same about Emmett. Not at all. Most of the time, Colette was a kind, loving animal and she'd be everyone's best friend. But not Emmett. Not a vampire's. She ran down the stairs and up to Lloyd, but jerked to a stop and instantly dropped onto her front, whimpering, whining and cringing.
"Hey...." Lloyd said in concern, heading over to Colette, "What's the matter sweetie?" but she whimpered once more and crawled away, slithering under the couch so only her nose stuck out. "Huh." the boy muttered, rubbing the back of his neck in bewilderment, "Ain't never done that before." He said and looked to Emmett, "Well at least Regal likes you!" He said and pointed, "Upstairs and to the right's the bathroom." He told him brightly, "If you need anything just shout."
he instructed and went into the kitchen, "I'd offer you food but I don't got any right now. Gotta go shopping sometime today." He announced as he came back out with a box of dog treats. He got on all fours and peered under the couch. "Hey sweetheart!" He cooed, "You wanna come on out Colette? I got treats for ya! Yum yum!"
Upstairs were various pictures, some of them were pictures of Lloyd and Genis as children, one of them was Genis when he was probably five, obviously having beaten Lloyd's butt at chess, and the next one was of Lloyd sending the board flying and Genis laughing at him. All of the younger photos of him included pictures of Lloyd either by himself, or with Genis or Raine and a few with some random girls. The ones of him that were older, around eleven or twelve had pictures of parents who looked nothing like him. But they were clearing having fun and were loving. Then, there were no more pictures after about age eighteen. They went all up the wall beside the stairs, like a little shrine for himself and his parents. For they were there too, at their wedding, at a party, at Christmas, but all of those were of them alone except for the ones they appeared in with Lloyd.
Lloyd sat down on the armchair, waiting for Emmett to finish up. He switched on the TV and put in a DVD, putting on one of favorite movies, Young Frankenstein, then waited more for Emmett, picking up a spider-man comic and thumbing through it.
