MARY GRACE MACDONALD ♔ SIXTEEN ♔ MUGGLEBORN ( it was the wicked and wild wind , )BLEW DOWN THE DOORS TO LET ME IN .- - - - - - - - - - - - i used to rule the world ,
SEA'S WOULD RISE WHEN I GAVE THE WORD . INFO ♔ meet mary grace macdonald. though you've probably heard about her as the kid who was attacked (seriously, how do these things get around so quickly?) anyway, mare is gryffindor's resident ball of muggleborn sunshine. though you can call her mary, or mare. just don't call her mare-bear, or she'll have to hurt you. anyway, mare here is a sixth year gryffindor, born from a muggle family who knew nothing about the magical world. she always though she was bit weird when she was little, but she only found out why when she got her letter. however, being magical wasn't all that great, and on her third year her parents got a divorce because her father couldn't handle the whole magic thing anymore. and on her fifth year, dear ol' mulciber attacked her. she doesn't really like to talk about it, and well, who would? anyway, even with all that has happened to her, mare managed to maintain her happy persona, though after the attack she became a bit more closed off. oh, right, and she wants to become an healer and work at st. mungo's one day! i'm rambling, sorry, let's get on with this ^^,

SWEEP THE STREETS I USED TO OWN . ENEMIES ♔ one would think someone as sweet and nice as mare wouldn't have many enemies, but that's only partly true. because of how she is, people do tend to befriend her quite easily. but there are always people who don't really appreciate her attitude, and how she doesn't really take things too seriously. on other problem with mary is her sarcasm. now, this isn't a permanent thing, nor does she make a point of having a smart ass remark ready for every occasion, but she does have her moments, and depending on that, she might end up rubbing people the wrong way. also, she's quite prideful and competitive, and really likes to do things in her own way, so she tends to clash with those trying to boss her around. lastly, if you happen to hurt those she cares about, you're pretty much screwed. also, let's not forget she's a muggleborn. bring on the muggleborn hate!

FEEL THE FEAR IN MY ENEMY'S EYES . FRIENDS ♔ mare here is a lovely girl, she treats everyone as her friend even if she's just met them. she's a people person, and won't hesitate to go out of her way to speak to someone new or to ask you a random question. she's pretty loyal to those she considers her friends, and if you need a favor, mary's the girl to ask. she hardly denies anyone. she also has this crazy strong moral compass and always believes in doing what she thinks is right, no matter what the consequences are. and let's not forget she's a little miss glass half full. mary, always tries to see the bright side of something, no matter how dim things might be. so, yeah, she never really had any problems when it came to making friends.

"NOW THE OLD KING IS DEAD! LONG LIVE THE KING!" LOVERS ♔ in terms of romance, mare's hopeless. she's a hopeless romantic who believes in fairytale love and all that. she blatantly denies it, but she's really hoping to find that one person that will come into her life and sweep her of her feet. yeah, she's a dreamer. she's single right now, by the way.

same year, same house, james is popular, friendly annoying so they’re going to be friends, yes? at least, james will treat mary like a friend, i guess their level of friendship depends on how irritating she finds him haha and whether she can stand his random questions to her about lily (because they’re roommates and he wants to know!)
RODOLPHUS AND MARY
Muggleborn hater right here. expect dirty looks, snide comments and the odd curse thrown her way and then rod walking on down the corridor without a backward glance.

Lily and Mary
SO. Since these two are reunited again we already figured out that these two are completely besties. Mary would be the few people that Lily turns to for advice on how to deal with an annoying black haired boy. She's also having feelings for none other than Snape so we shalt see how that goes. <333
Hailey and Mary
Hails here is a new character of mine. She's in her fifth year and born a pureblood. Her whole family has been sorted into Slytherin but she was sorted as a Ravenclaw. She's much more laid back than others and not the typical pureblood type. I can see a friendship forming between these two.

mare && jamesyeah, i can't think of any reason for the two of them not to be friends. mare would definitely find his whole lily thing hilarious so xD though she'd probably find all his questioning annoying from time to time, i can't see her minding it too much. so yeah, they'd be pretty nice friends and i just totally imagined her having a major slip up about lily and being all like 'ssssh, you can't tell lily i told you, she'll kill me!'

mare && severus oh yeah, mare's gonna put her skeptic face on and be all like 'yes severus, please do enlighten me on how much it was an accident'. yeah, she doesn't really like him, he hurt lily after all. but i really like that idea. more awesome drama!

-- i'm thinking best friends? these two are both very friendly and loving people and would totally be there for one another. molly is a year older, so there would be times where she would feel like she was protective over mary, but i think mary would be protective over her too. and i think molly would be fascinated with her coming from a muggle family and all that is involved with the muggle world. so super close friends? mare && molly why i had a clear visual image of mare explaining molly how light bulbs work, i have no idea. but i agree with you! molly is just so awesome mare would definitely have gone up to her at some point in her life and be all 'hey, let's be friends!' and maybe after the attack molly was all like 'rawr, no one touches her!' because that would have been super cute. all in all, i think mare would end up treating molly like she was family, and be super protective of her ^^,
