------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Everyone was talking at the Ravenclaw table. Only a few students were picking at their food. They were either not hungry or thinking of something else that had happened to them in the past. One such student was doing just that. She sat at the far end of the table, poking at her food with a fork. She ignored the concerned look her housemates threw at her. They knew better than to ask if she was alright. She would never answer. Her light brown hair was done up in a ponytail and it was left hanging down, unbraided. Brown eyes held a thoughtful look as Hailey Thomas continued to poke at her food. She raised her head to look at the Slytherin table. Her eyes rested on a young blond haired woman that was holding court there. Someone had pissed her off that morning. Hailey knew not to piss her off. Reila Thomas was very good at getting revenge. Not for the first time did the fifteen year old wondered why the Sorting Hat had placed her in Ravenclaw. She winced as she remembered the look on Kevin’s face. Her father was not very happy at all. Most people would be happy for their youngest girl to be placed in a house that was known for its wit and learning. But not Kevin. He had high standards for his kids and almost everyone knew it.
When word had come to him that she was not sorted into the family house, Kevin went crazy. During the Christmas holidays it had been hell for her. She was almost treated the same way a house elf was without the work load. Hailey sighed softly to herself as she placed down her fork and stood up. Quiet spread throughout the table as her housemates looked at her worriedly. She forced a smile on her face. “I’m fine guys. Just not that hungry as I thought I was,” They didn’t look to convinced but she didn’t give them a chance to say something. She walked down the aisle, slowing down at the Slytherin table. Hailey hopped to catch a glimpse of her sister. As if reading her mind, Reila glanced up and looked at her with a small frown. ‘Are you alright Hails?’ she mouthed. Hailey nodded at her statement. A black haired boy who was sitting three chairs down from her looked up at Hailey with a sneer. She shivered and quickly walked off, feeling the stare that was directed at her back. Once she had passed those double doors she breathed a shaky sigh of relief. The black haired boy’s name was Marcus Peterson. He was also a pureblood.
Hailey bit down on her lower lip, a worried look in her eyes. Last year he had almost raped her. He had her pinned to the wall and would have to if it hadn’t been for one of her housemate. Hailey had begged and pleaded both people not to tell anyone. She knew that the boy’s hands had turned into fists and wanted to take a swing at him. The girl was more understanding and told her that the secret was safe with her. Why take an interest in me? Hailey thought to herself as she walked even further away from the Great Hall. What do I have that would make him attack me? She slid down the wall, shaking a bit slightly. She had told no one, not even one Sirius Black. Merlin knows what would happen if he found out. All I have to do is to keep my mouth shut and not say a thing. It seemed that fate had other plans concerning her. Right after her attempted attack, it seemed that she kept running into Marcus for several weeks. The young girl was more than horrified. She was pulled out of her thoughts as her ears perked forward, hearing the slight sounds of footsteps coming her way. Hailey whipped out her wand and whirled around to face the person that was walking. When she did all of the color drained out of her face. Tagged!? Rodolphus! Words!? 684 Notes!? bite that lip, cause your tongue is a gun and your brain is the trigger, fire at will, oh i doubt that mouth could get any bigger, live in hypocrisy, those skies are always sunny, you're never gonna be a threat to anybody. you're lying, you're lying, you're gonna be the one left crying. open your eyes and see you are outnumbered, honeyYOU’RE NEVER GONNA BE A THREAT TO ANYBODY It was dinner but Rodolphus was not eating much. He picked at the food on his plate, eating mouthfuls of pie and mash every now and then. He didn’t know why he wasn’t hungry but he imagined it had something to do with the fact that he was so very bored. There was nothing to do around here. He’d only been back at school a matter of weeks but already he was fed up of the place. Quite honestly he couldn’t wait to have his education over with so he could be out in the real world, working for the Dark Lord, doing something useful. Currently he was sitting, elbows on table, wand out and levitating the juice jug. All out of sheer boredom. Although he did have plans later. Or rather, Professor Slughorn had plans later to make him scrape the undersides of desks or prepare potion ingredients or whatever deathly boring task he could think of to consume his detention. Rodolphus would not turn up for it. He had decided already. He had precious little time as it was and he was not going to waste it with that over-bearing, overweight walrus.
Bored of his levitating game, Rodolphus tucked his wand away and let his eyes scan the Great Hall. His vision locked on a Ravenclaw girl who visibly slowed her walk as she passed the Slytherin table. Hailey Thomas. Rodolphus watched her, intrigued as she shared a short exchange with her sister and reacted with a shiver to a look that Rod’s fellow Slytherin, Peterson who was sitting just a seat down from him, gave her. She walked away quickly after that. Rod wasn’t surprised, he knew the story. He had overheard Peterson moaning about how he’d been interrupted to a friend. At the time he had found the information quite interesting. It wasn’t unusual of Slytherin students to have twisted motives like rape, Rod himself could see the appeal for sure, but for it to be put into action at Hogwarts was rare. All of a sudden, the Slytherin could see his night getting a little more fulfilling.
He let his quarry get a little in front of him before standing up and stealthily following behind her. Rodolphus didn’t often need a reason to go into this mode but if he was feeling angry or particularly bored then he was more likely to turn to his favourite sport: torture. And Hailey Thomas had wandered by, looking very much like prey, right in front of his eyes. Poor girl hadn’t even realised what she’d done by making the decision to take the route past the Slytherin table. There was no way someone could walk past Rodolphus Lestrange looking so fragile, especially when he was in this mood, and get away in one piece. He followed her to the dungeons. Foolish girl, probably didn’t realise where her feet were taking her but still . . . such a rookie mistake. She was smart enough however to draw her wand at the sound of his approaching heavy footfalls. His boots echoed nosily off the stone wall. He too took out his wand. ”Well, well, well, what do we have here?” A smug smirk was brought to his lips as he watched her face pale. He knew that he looked like the cat that had just gotten the cream. He kept on coming towards her, a steady grip on his wand, hoping that she would retreat into the empty classroom behind her without even realising it. ”Hailey Thomas.” He cocked his head to one side, pulling his expression into one of mock disappointment. ”You don’t seem too pleased to see me?” It wasn’t a question he expected or even cared if she answered. All he cared about was isolating her so that he could do as he pleased without interruption.

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Hailey couldn’t breath as she stared at the seventh year Slytherin. She started to shake slightly as she took another step back. “Rodolphus,” Her tone was barely more above a whisper. Her face was now white as a ghost. She took another step backwards as her back hit the wall and she winced. “Shouldn’t…shouldn’t you be in the Great Hall with the rest of them?” The question came out of her mouth before Hailey could stop herself. Oh Merlin, she was an idiot. He was probably going to blast her in pieces before….Stop that, she told herself silently. The brown haired girl could tell that her imagination was running wild again. Hailey opened her mouth to answer his question but closed it before she could get it to work. “You know your mates might be missing you,” She had commented instead while ignoring the question. Of course she wasn’t too pleased to see him. Hailey was downright terrified of him. She was terrified of almost anyone from Slytherin house with the exception of her sister. Anyone with eyes can see that Hailey was completely scared of Zach. The boy was following in their father’s footsteps alright. Kevin was proud of him. He was proud of Reila for becoming such a respectful pureblood lady, although he did frown on her relationship with her sister.
And what about Hailey? The fifteen year old had trouble hiding a small snort despite the situation at hand. Kevin turned the other way whenever she was in the room. She couldn’t wait to graduate from Hogwarts. But then what? A small voice inside her head asked. What would become of her then? The corners of her lips twitched downwards into a small frown. At last she shook her head. She didn’t want to think about that. Not now anyways. Not with one of the Slytherins in front of her. At that thought Hailey blinked, pulling herself out of her thoughts to look at Rodolphus up and down. The corners of her lips twitched upwards into a small and tiny smile. “You…you should go back you know,” her voice was soft as she moved back. The brown haired girl hit her back against the wall and winced slightly. Something hard had struck her lower back. Her brown eyes were fixed on the person that was in front of her. The very person who would do whatever it took to torture her. Then, as if her mouth had a mind of its own, “Reila talks about you at home,” Her other hand flew to her mouth to cover it. She stared at him with wide terrified eyes. She could not believe that she had told him that. “All in good fairness of course as it should be,” she added hastily. “You know how everyone talks,”
The fifth year decided to shut up right then and there before the situation gotten any worse. Her other hand, the one that had lowered itself from her mouth, was groping the wall. Hailey was trying to find what had caused the pain in her lower back. Her hand hit something hard and round. She gripped it tightly and rattled it. Her breath caught in her throat. A door to one of the classrooms! “Well….I guess I’ll be seeing you then!” Her voice came out as a squeak as she turned it and dashed into the room, closing the door behind her. Hailey waved her wand and locked it. Breathing softly, she turned around to survey her surroundings. Her heart sank as she found that there was nowhere to hide. What if he decided to break down the door and torture her? Her body had gone ridged with fear as a thought crossed her mind. What if he decided to rape her just as Marcus had attempted to do? All kinds of situations were running through her mind as her breathing quickened. Calm down, a sudden voice in the back of her mind hissed at her. He wouldn’t do anything. He wouldn’t be stupid to anyways. Hailey relaxed, somewhat, at the voice. It was the sensible part of her. She slowly took a step back, eying the door. Tagged!? Rod! Words!? 695 Notes!? Inside his blood was pumping with anticipation and he so badly wanted to let the thrill show on his face but he kept his expression cool. Only the dangerous gleam in his eyes betrayed his emotions but his mere presence alone was enough to terrify the girl. That fact only intensified his feelings. She had questions, she had statements, she was trying her hardest to change the subject because she obviously knew what might be coming; that Rod was on a mission to make her life even more of a misery. But he was on a one track mind; there was no stopping him now. She could try and give him reasons to leave her alone but they were all futile. And she seemed to realise it because she kept backing away from him. She looked so scared, so fragile. He sucked in his bottom lip hungrily. He was ready to make that scared expression increase to terror; he was ready to break her. ”But I’d much rather be here with you, sweetie.” His voice was low, raspy and sinister as it always got in moments like these. Moments when the dark side of Rod took over.
So scared of offending him, it made him smile. This feeling of having that effect on people, it was an intense rush. Power. She was talking in order to delay the inevitable. Rambling on in her fear. Rod had seen it all before and he was growing impatient with her quite honestly. But he kept his face neutral, even pleasant at the mention of her sister talking about him. ”Does she now? Nice things I hope. . .” He trailed off with a sneer because he highly doubted that. Her brother on the other hand, he had always had a nice word to say about Rod. Yes, he’d gotten on very well with Zach. He wondered vaguely whether he’d be bothered about his sister being tortured. He reckoned probably not. He took another step towards her, revelling in watching her cower and the wide-eyed look of terror. He couldn’t help it, the edge of his lips turned upwards in a smirk. He was going to enjoy this.
He watched with faint amusement as she scrambled at the doorknob, bidding him farewell in a high voice. He shook his head as if disappointed that she had fallen so easily into his trap when she snapped the door shut behind her. He gave her a few minutes. Made it look as if he had given up and left her alone after all . . . lure her into that false sense of security and then strike when she’s expecting it least. With careful tread he covered the last few feet of ground and let his hand grasp the door handle. He didn’t expect it to open but just in case, he rattled it. Raising his wand, he cast a few spells, letting them hit the door but not opening it, just knocking. Simply for dramatic effect. He then cast his blow, blasting the door open. Did she really think that locking the door was going to be enough to keep him out? He stepped inside, smiling pleasantly at Hailey he waved his wand and repaired the door, not well enough to put it back on its hinges but so it created a blockade and no one could see inside.
”What’s the matter, Hailey?” He asked his voice quiet with disdain. ”Is my company not good enough for you?” He had his wand out still, not pointing at her, but gripped tightly, ready. ”Because really, it’s the other way around. Your company is not good enough for me.” His words were angry and disgusted, letting her know just what he thought of her treacherous ways. Rod raised his wand now, pointing it straight at her chest, waiting to strike.

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Hailey continued to step away from the door, her eyes were never leaving it no matter what. She refused to blink as well, seemly thinking that, once she did, her nightmare would appear in the room. Her face was deathly white as her mind scrambled at what to do next. Merlin, get me out of this in one piece and I swear I’ll behave, she prayed silently. The expression on his face when he told her that he would rather be here with her instead had sent a fresh wave of terror coursing through her body. In that split second he looked rather much like her father. “I’m not that much of c-c-company t-to b-begin with,” she had stammered. “Y-you should really try my sister. Not that we’re alike or any-” And that was when she had shut up. Hailey was already about to either die or get tortured and here she was rambling off like a mad woman to her would be attacker. And then, “Y-you sound like you have been talking to Z-Zach a-and my f-father.” A wild thought had occurred to her and she had stammered, “Then again…father wouldn’t appreciate you doing this to me.” That was a downright lie. Kevin Thomas could care less about what happened to his youngest child. Sad but true.
The brown haired girl found that, the more scared she was, the more she would talk. This was certainly true given the situation at hand. “You can’t break me!” The minute that she said this Hailey almost wanted to die. “I refuse!” She grew quiet as she bit down on her lower lip. Her eyes had held a worried look in them. “I…um…it’s something you would have to ask her,” Hailey’s voice had gone softer. The fifteen year old shook her head desperately. She returned to the current situation. The grip on her wand grew tighter as she slowly raised it. What she was thinking….she didn’t know. But she did know that she felt better with it. The Ravenclaw jumped as the doorknob rattled. The look of terror increased in her eyes. Soon the sounds of various spells hitting the door came and Hailey cried out in fear. She was hoping that a teacher would come before anything worse could have happened. Hailey was hoping that a teacher would put Rodolphus in a month’s worth of detentions or expel him from the school. But then what would come out of it? He would do nothing until he had hunted her down and made her pay for what she had done.
It was not very comforting. The thoughts that were running through her mind right now. Hailey screamed as the door blasted open. “G-GET AWAY FROM ME!” She was hoping someone would hear her screams and come to her rescue. But seeing as the entire Hogwarts population was at the Great Hall for dinner, that was very unlikely. Her brown eyes were wide with fear as she laid them on the person in front of her. The one person that was about to let her life become a living hell. She shivered as she saw what he had done to the door. She was trapped. She felt like a caged animal, huddling down before a beating. “N-no! I-It’s not that!” Hailey was downright terrified now. “It’s-” She stopped there as she let his words and tone registered in her brain. “It’s not my fault the sorting hat decided to put me in Ravenclaw! I’m still pureblood-” The brown haired stopped speaking. Was she really a pureblood now? Her spirits sank lower than ever before. “I may be pureblood by name and birth. The Sorting Hat had just….thought that I would be better in Ravenclaw. Really, I’m not Slytherin material.” Her back had hit the wall again as she raised her wand with a trembling hand. She had a feeling that she wouldn’t get out of this situation sane again. [/blockquote] Tagged!? ROD! Words!? 656 Notes!? LET THE TORTURE BEGIN! Credits!? bite that lip, cause your tongue is a gun and your brain is the trigger, fire at will, oh i doubt that mouth could get any bigger, live in hypocrisy, those skies are always sunny, you're never gonna be a threat to anybody. you're lying, you're lying, you're gonna be the one left crying. open your eyes and see you are outnumbered, honeyYOU’RE NEVER GONNA BE A THREAT TO ANYBODY Patience was usually something Rod had a lot of but he was growing ever more frustrated with her whining. On and on she blabbered. He was really quite glad to be able to blast the door open so as to cover up her voice. No matter, it’d be much more fun in a few moments time when she was screaming. And he had to admit, the sound of her tripping over her words made him quiver with anticipation. She was trying to be brave and trying to put up a fight but ultimately she was in flight mode. No matter, chasing them down was all part of the fun anyway. Saying that, by running into the empty classroom in the dungeons she had made his job a hell of a lot easier. Maybe taken a bit of the fun out of it. Oh well, he’d make up for that later.
He didn’t warrant her babbling with a reply. Instead, Inside the room, after hearing her scream at him to get out, Rodolphus raised a finger to his lips, ”Shhhh” He said softly. Careful to keep his wand trained on her he cast a silencing spell so that the two of them would still be able to hear each other but anyone on the other side of the door wouldn’t have a clue. Whilst he was at it, he created a magical barricade so that no one could get in or out for that matter. He did it all silently but the spells issue from his wand and there was a very noticeable change in the atmosphere and Rod reckoned what with Hailey being a Ravenclaw; that she’d understand what he’d done. He smiled cruelly at her. The measures were necessary because although it was still dinner time, Rod might decide to drag this out for as long as possible and it wasn’t worth the risk. People didn’t often come nosing around in the dungeons since it was notoriously Slytherin territory but it was better to be safe than sorry.
She was smart, Ravenclaw through and through, because she had figured out from his words what he had been implying. That her being sorted into the wrong house, in his opinion, was not good enough and because of that, she was not worthy of his time. ”It’s not just that though, Hailey.” Rodolphus spoke with the tone of someone explaining something that should be very simple to someone very stupid. ”You come from a well respected pureblood family. And yet you are a blood traitor. And for that, you need to be taught a lesson. You need to be put in your place.” His last words came out angrier. He took several slow steps towards her and gave her another one of his casual shrugs. ”And well, you know, I’m bored.” He said it light-heartedly as if he were making pleasant conversation. That was the scary thing about Rod. He often didn’t need a reason to go into this mode. Getting angry and lashing out at someone over something people could understand but torturing someone for no real reason; that was twisted. He wouldn’t argue with you if you called him that.
Literally trembling with fear now, Hailey was pushed up against the wall, probably hoping she could melt into it and disappear. She would have no such luck. He quickly covered the last bit of space between them, the look in his eyes warning her to not defend herself. The gleam in his eyes dangerous and craving the next step. She seemed frozen in fear. It made him take in a deep breath, savouring the moment. Rod stopped right in front of her, he grasped her wand arm tightly with his left hand whilst his right reached to her hair, caressing it softly, he moved the strands away from her ear and he leaned down to whisper. ”Drop your wand.” His breathing was deep and rapid, his hand gripping his wand so tightly it was in danger of snapping, he let everything build up inside of him, the anticipation, the hunger, the desire, ”Crucio.”

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- The fifth year Ravenclaw trembled head to toe as he shushed her. Her eyes casted on his wand, she had no other choice but to obey. Who knows what else he would do to her. How in the world did she manage to get caught up in the situation. She bit down on her lower lip as she looked at him with eyes that were huge with fear. Oh, wait a minute. Now she remembered and Hailey cursed herself silently. He was probably watching her while she was sharing a few words with her sister. Not to mention when Marcus had looked her way as well. She had quickly walked out after that. Merlin she probably looked like a victim. And standing in front of her was the spider looking hungrily at the prey. “Please….please leave,” Her plea came out as a pathetic whimper. Her face had gone dead white. She had friends in Ravenclaw and other houses, besides Slytherin of course, that actually cared what happened to her. “Rei won’t be too happy once I tell her what happened,” That was a slight threat of course. Hailey knew that Rod would threaten not to tell no one. The first three people she would go to after this: Reila, Sirius, and Alexandria. She knew that her sister would be livid. Reila had already went against their father’s words that Hailey was too be left alone unless she was tortured.
There was a sudden change in the atmosphere of the room. It had taken Hailey a few minutes to understand why until he was smirking at her. She started to shake again. He had put a silence charm on the door. No one would hear her screaming or pleads for help. This was turning into her worst nightmare all except that Rodolphus was there instead of Marcus. She was digging herself deeper and deeper into a hole. “What…what are you going to do?” Her voice was small. Smaller than it had ever been. Her cheeks turned crimson as she listened to what he was saying. “Just because I had been sorted into another house doesn’t mean anything. I’m still the same as you.” Anger suddenly filled her. “Better to be a blood traitor than a pureblood fanatic. That’ll get you nowhere in life. The Dark Lord would go down and then where would you be at?” Hailey blinked a couple of times as she finished talking and shrunk back. Even though her father and brother are Death Eaters and her mother supported Voldemort, Hailey had never been able to say the name. She had fallen into the habit of calling him The Lord or You-Know-Who instead. Hailey had even taken on the beliefs of her friends, most of them were muggleborn.
She decided to ignore the comment about being put back in her place. Hailey had heard it the past four years. Mainly by her father during one of his beatings. “I know where it’s at,” Where did she get the energy or even the gall to snap at him? “It’s on the winning side.” Perhaps the comment had pushed her to the edge. Whatever it was, it had disappeared when he commented that he was bored. The color was draining out of her face. Hailey would end up alone with him when he was in that mood. But why did it have to be now? The brown haired girl was still against the wall. She wanted to disappear through it and end up in the next room. She wanted to run, run away and never look back. Her eyes flew wide open in complete fright. Her hand was shaking as she pointed her wand at him. “D-don’t….don’t come any closer….” The protest in her voice died off rather quickly as she looked at him. The expression in his eyes made her stomach drop. Hailey quickly prayed to Merlin to let her out of the situation. Her face was white as a ghost as she shrunk back even further against the wall. She flinched as he reached out and grabbed her hand. She shrieked, feeling his hand on her hair and tried to break away. “N-no! Don’t….don’t rape me!”
It was out of her mouth before she could have stopped it. “PLEASE!” Hailey was hyperventilating. Flashes of the attack went through her mind. In that brief moment she had almost forgotten where she actually was. And what danger she was facing. What had brought her out of it was when she felt him whisper to drop her wand. Instinct told her to keep a tight grip but Hailey had hoped that she would get out of it alive. Shaking with fright, she had no choice but to obey. Her eyes were wide as saucers as he cast the Cruciatus Curse at her. Pain filled her. It felt like she was being stabbed by thousands of knives. It wasn’t the first time that she had been put under the curse. And it certainly wasn’t the last. Finally, a scream ripped itself free from her throat. Her ears were filled with the sounds of her screams and nothing else. She kicked at him trying to break free so that she would be able to writhe on the floor, hoping to find some comfort at least. bite that lip, cause your tongue is a gun and your brain is the trigger, fire at will, oh i doubt that mouth could get any bigger, live in hypocrisy, those skies are always sunny, you're never gonna be a threat to anybody. you're lying, you're lying, you're gonna be the one left crying. open your eyes and see you are outnumbered, honeyYOU’RE NEVER GONNA BE A THREAT TO ANYBODY All he did was laugh at her. So silly to think that simply asking him to stop would make him do so. She was fighting, if only slightly, but she had no dominance to her voice. No power. That was what it was all about. Anybody could say the words but it was controlling the words and giving them authority that made people obey you. Rod had mastered it. And he had taken control over the situation before she had; his actions were faster and stronger and at the end of the day that made him better than her because it meant he would live for longer. Just a split second advantage was all you needed between life and death and Hailey had been overcome by fear too quickly and so hadn’t acted. Rod couldn’t blame her really. Her run-ins with Slytherins both present and former in the past hadn’t been great. And everyone knew Rodolphus had a track record.
But his laughter disappeared at her words of him being on the losing team. He was angry that she dared imply that the Dark Lord was weak yet also amused because it was stupid of her to think that. ”You have no idea what you are talking about.” Rod’s words were said in a voice of quiet rage. He wasn’t one to shout, he found that if you had the right tone to your voice you could convey your anger much more effectively in a quiet voice. Shouting and causing ruckus was for moronic Gryffindors. ”Right now sweetie, I think it’s much better to be me than you.” He gave his wand a small flourish, indicating that he was in control here and she was going to suffer. He shook his head with an irritated roll of his eyes. Did she really believe that the Dark Lord wasn’t in the ascendancy, that he wasn’t the most powerful wizard ever to have existed? Maybe she lived in hope. Well Rodolphus had long since realised which side was the best one, not to mention the right one. ”The Dark Lord is going nowhere but up. You are foolish to think otherwise.” Rod said quietly, the anger replaced by reverence and a severe belief that Voldemort was the most important sorcerer in the world.
Rape her? Hmm, that was an interesting idea. He supposed Marcus would be pissed at him, but then Rod was a seventh year; two years older than him and had earned a lot more respect than Peterson. He could be dealt with. He’d get over it. Still, it might be a little more interesting to put Hailey into this situation again and let Peterson on her. That’d be fun. His mouth twisted upwards into a cruel smile. He’d play with her some more later. She obviously was terrified of the idea more than the torture. He’d watched her panic, watched her breathing increase rapidly; so much so he thought at one point she might go into shock. He’d watched it all with a hungry look on his face and his eyes were full of desire, so it was no wonder she came to that conclusion. The whole thing excited him. He’d shivered when she’d cringed away from him in fear and the sound of her wand clattering to the floor was the sound of her obeying him. Now she was under his control. Hers to do with as he liked. How could that feeling not excite him?
Why did she beg? Had no one realised yet that that was exactly what he wanted was for them to beg him to stop. He held her there as he cast the curse so that she was pushed up against the wall with little freedom to move. They all squirmed under the spell, moving to try and free themselves of the pain. It was quite fun to watch them rolling around on the floor in pain but Hailey evidently didn’t like him touching her and he found it even more exhilarating to have a hold on her as well. He waited for the hurt to become too much, waited to hear her scream and as she did he closed his eyes and his lips parted slightly. He should never have taken his eyes off of her because she kicked out at him and her foot made a painful connection with his knee. He growled in pain and let go of her, releasing the spell as he did so.
The twinge in his knee faded away relatively quickly; the adrenaline coursing through his body saw straight to that. Rod crouched down to her level and spoke in his mocking voice. ”Did that hurt? Well that’s just the start. And if you even think about reporting me then you’re going to very sorry indeed.” His voice lowered to a whisper. ”I can make your worst nightmares come true.” He would like to think that after today, he would be her worst nightmare but he reckoned luring her into a trap with Peterson would be enough punishment for her reporting him. Not that it would particularly matter if she did. He had a place within the Dark Lord’s ranks waiting for him and he didn’t care about leaving school early to join him. He had all the protection he needed. ”Crucio.” He said the word almost lazily. Hopefully he could get her to beg some more. ”Do you understand?” He asked loudly, because he really would prefer to not have to go through the hassle of being expelled.

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Hailey would like to think that she was not afraid of him. She would like to think that she had the upper hand. The reality was that she was the total opposite. She cringed at the mere sight of him. She had heard stories after stories about him. Those stories should have made the fifteen year old girl think twice about trying to fight back with him. Then again, Hailey never stopped once to think in this situation. She shivered at his voice. “I know exactly what I’m talking about. The light is going to win and the blood purity idea will stop. All you would be doing is spending the rest of your life in Azkaban with the dementors,” A small voice in the back of her head hissed at her, telling her to shut up before it got any worse. Hailey ignored that voice. She would end up paying for what she was saying to him later. She just knew it. “The war will stop and your life will come crashing down.” Oh, was she ever going to be in for it. “And besides, even if he would take over the world he wouldn’t take over Hogwarts. People say that You-Know-Who is afraid of the Headmaster.” There was so much confidence in her words. She thought that she was so strong. “I would be quite glad once you and Marcus are safe and sound in your cells in Azkaban. You would even see my father and brother there,”
There was a tone of hatred to her voice. Her eyes glittered like hard stones. For a brief moment Hailey felt powerful. More so than Rodolphus. She had actually scowled at him. “I’m not…you’re sweetie. I’m not…no one’s.” It was starting to come back now. The hesitation and the fear. The feeling of being helpless and in control. It was something that Hailey didn’t like. She couldn’t help that it was happening to her. She took a deep shaking breath before looking up into his cold eyes. “Let me go,” she repeated again in a soft whisper. She shook slightly at the smile he was giving her. “I won’t let you rape me.” Her eyes widen in slight fear. Hailey had calmed down a bit. She wasn’t going to let her guard down. She was still convinced that, sooner or later, he would end up doing that. The brown haired girl froze as she stared at him with horror as her thoughts went to another direction. What if this was a preparation for later? What if he decided to leave her here for the next two hours and he would come back with Marcus. The thought alone had made her whimper in fear. What would he think of next? The question had always came back to haunt her. It was not a good question to allow the ‘what ifs’ or let her imagination run wild.
She continued to squirm around and kicking out with her legs. She was hoping that he would let her go. It was a slight hope. Her scream was starting to become louder and louder. Hailey thought she was going to die. Her foot had hit him somewhere and the next thing she knew she fell to the floor. Tears were quietly sliding down her face. She breathed in deeply as she slowly raised her head to look at him with a look of horror. “I’m not…going to let you get away with this. I’ll tell Sirius….I’ll tell Dumbledore. You’ll be kicked out of Hogwarts along with Marcus. I will report you, no matter what.” If it’s the last thing I do, she added to herself silently. Hailey wouldn’t say that out loud. She let out a small shriek as the thought of her worst nightmares coming true. Her face had gone deathly pale as she opened her mouth to speak but no sound came out of it. She closed it. She was about to say that he wouldn’t dare do that. This was Rodolphus in front of her. He was pretty much capable of doing almost everything. The next time that she had opened her mouth was to scream. This time, however, she was able to writhe on the floor. It was even more intense the second round. Hailey didn’t even dare answer his questions. She was too busy screaming and trying her hardest not to pass out.
Time passed. Second by second. She wanted him to lift off the curse. Lift it off so she would be able to catch her breath. Even under the curse Hailey could still remember the first time that she was placed under the spell. It was during Christmas break and once she had stepped off the train Kevin was giving her one of his looks. She remembered her stomach dropping at the sight. She had the feeling that this break wouldn’t go right. “S-S-STOP!” Hailey had managed to croak out. “PLEASE!” She wondered how long she would be able to last. She wondered how long it would be before she would go insane because of him. “PLEASE! I’LL BEHAVE!” Not for the first time did she wish that she knew more spells than him. She would have been able to take off the silence spells that he had placed around the room and on the door. Hailey had a feeling that she would probably be dead before anyone would have found her. Who knows what torture the seventh year had in mind for her? These are lovely thoughts for someone who was under the curse, she thought while screaming in pain. [/blockquote] Tagged!? ROD! bite that lip, cause your tongue is a gun and your brain is the trigger, fire at will, oh i doubt that mouth could get any bigger, live in hypocrisy, those skies are always sunny, you're never gonna be a threat to anybody. you're lying, you're lying, you're gonna be the one left crying. open your eyes and see you are outnumbered, honeyYOU’RE NEVER GONNA BE A THREAT TO ANYBODY If Rod were in Hailey’s shoes he would have shut up a very long time ago. Could she not see that by rambling on at him about her being on the right side was not making him any happier? It certainly wasn’t helping her situation, if anything she was digging her grave ever deeper because it just made Rod want to prove that he was the one in charge and therefore his side was the right one. Apparently she had to try and convince him that she was right, probably had to try anything that might help her out. Wasn’t working. The idea that the Dark Lord wouldn’t win was laughable and he was afraid of no one. He snarled at her as she mentioned him being scared of the headmaster. Dumbledore was a fool, unwilling to hurt a fly, he’d be easy to brush aside. And even if someone somehow did manage to defeat the Dark Lord, well he wouldn’t be defeated, Rod was sure of it, Rod would wait for him. Wait for him in Azkaban, loyally if that was what it took. ”I’ll serve my time in Azkaban, for the Dark Lord if that’s what it takes.” He snarled at her because it was imperative that she understand that there were people willing to do whatever it took for this cause.
Her courage was admirable but it only spurred Rodolphus on more. It would just make him enjoy breaking her, snapping her courage piece by piece if she showed she was willing to stand up to him. Because it was all in vein. Soon she’d realise that. The courage didn’t last for long. Never did once they were under the cruciatus curse; the pain took over. Rod had never felt the effects of it before. But he’d seen them on several occasions and he’d been the one in control of it and that was enough to realise just how much pain it caused. It was all down to him, he could soften the pain or he could increase it, the angrier he was then the more powerful the spell was. You had to feel the rage, channel it turn it into pain and hatred and inflict it on someone else. The feeling was so sweet. Everyone reacted similarly, some were faster to cry out than others. Hailey was crying already. Poor girl if she thought this was bad then she was going to be up against it.
Rod licked his lips, shuddering, his hawk like eyes narrowed in concentration as he watched Hailey roll around on the floor, in pain and screaming for him to stop. All of it caused by him, all of it in his hands. Oh she was going to behave was she? Rod lifted the curse because currently she didn’t seem to be able to speak very well under it. That would have to change if she wanted to survive the night. ”You’ll behave? You mean you’ll stop spouting nonsense about the light side,” He said the words scathingly, ”winning and you’ll promise not to tell anyone about this?” He crouched down again, grabbed the front of her robes and threw her into the centre of the room. ”It’s a simple question, Hailey.” He began to circle her as he waited for an answer, deliberating over his next move. He liked to circle; it gave the impression of predator and prey, like a shark hunting down its meal. What could he do next? The possibilities were endless.
”You see Hailey,” He began matter of factly, ”You’re weak and I want you to admit that.” He gave her another dose of the cruciatus curse, just a short sharp blast of it to hear her scream. He didn’t like hearing himself talk all of the time; it was nice to have his musings interrupted with the sounds of her whimpers. ”You have such a lovely scream.” He told her with a lecherous smile. He held her gaze for a long minute and then turned on his heel, walking over to the corner of the room to retrieve a chair. He slammed it down hard on the floor behind her, the sound echoing menacingly off the walls. Slowly, and intentionally stomping his feet on the floor he walked back around to the other side of her, knelt down and lifted her with ease up and off from the ground and onto the seat. He then raised his wand again but instead of using crucio, ropes exploded from the end of it, wrapping them around her legs, binding them to the chair but purposely leaving her hands free. Just for good measure he cast the cruciatus curse at her again, grinning and drinking in her pain. ”That’s better.” He said, wiping his hands together and continuing in a pleasant voice that did not match the situation. ”Now we’re going to play a little game and if you get something wrong. . .” He trailed off, crouching down on his haunches to pull at the ropes, making sure they were as tight as possible. Then he lifted his gaze to her, grabbed her face so that she could see his malevolent expression and said in his most brutal voice, “I punish you.” He stood up again, pointing his wand at her. ”Are you ready?” He asked, almost politely.

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Hailey was a firm believer in the light side. That was the main difference between her and her family. While they supported the dark, the brown haired girl believed that Dumbledore knew what he was doing. She feared for her sister more than anything. She knew that Reila would have to follow in their family’s footsteps and become a Death Eater. That was one of the many nightmares that plague her dreams late at night. The Ravenclaw shook her head at his words. “What if he doesn’t forgive you. What if he lets you rot without rescuing you?” the voice came out as a croak. “I’m not stupid. I know what side I’m on. The winning side.” There was an odd look in her eyes as she looked at him. No matter how hard or brutal the torture would be, she would never admit that she was wrong. Not in an instant. “I’ll be celebrating victory while you’re locked up. I won’t break.” Hailey did not even flinch when he had snarled at her. She was trying to hold up her ground as long as she can. A couple of strands of her hair had fallen in her eyes. She brushed them away as she continued to stare at him without blinking. “Then you’ll be in Azkaban for a long time,” The fifteen year old told him with a slight sneer. She had a feeling that she would be in this room for a few hours at least. Why not make the best of it?
This was perhaps the first time that she had been placed under multiple Cruciatus Curses. Kevin would put her under one for several minutes. And that was only to teach the girl her place in life. She wasn’t a fool. Time seemed to have gone by slowly as the young girl rolled around on the floor, screaming her heart out. Suddenly the spell was lifted and she curled up into a ball. Her insiders were still burning. She closed her eyes for a moment, feeling like she was about to pass out. “It’s not nonsense,” The reply came out as a strangled croak. “Light will always overcome the darkness.” Hailey did hesitate a little when he wanted to know if she promised not to tell anyone. The first thing she was going to do once she had gotten out of this situation was to find Sirius and tell him. He would probably make her go to Dumbledore. While she was thinking of a careful answer she failed to noticed Rodolphus crouching down. Hailey was startled out of her thoughts as she was grabbed by her robes and thrown into the center of the room. She flinched as she hit the ground hard. “I might,” Her reply came out small. Her face went white as sheet as she watched him circle her. Her breathing started to increase as she wondered what he would do to her next. It was a scary thought.
The Ravenclaw shook her head. “I’m not…I’m not weak. You’re the one that’s weak from joining the wrong side.” She cried out in pain as the curse hit her once again. Hailey shook with fright. “You’re a bastard. You’re a perverted bastard.” It came out as harsh. She stared at him for a while until he turned and walked away for a minute. She breathed out a sigh of relief, thinking that he had already grown bored of her and was leaving. Oh, how wrong she was. How very wrong. Her breath caught in her throat as she saw him return with a chair. She flinched as he slammed the chair down the sound bounced from every corner of the room. To her it seemed to have sealed her doom. Hailey cringed away from him as he lifted her up. She kicked out with her legs again. “Don’t touch me again. I don’t like it.” She was roughly pushed into the seat and she began to sweat. Hailey flinched as he raised his wand, thinking that he was going to put her under again. It was even worse as ropes sprang out, wrapping her legs tightly against the chair. He was beyond crazy. He was a psychopath. Well…at least she had her hands free. Surely that must mean something. A scream ripped itself free from her throat as she was put under the Cruciatus Curse again.
She wouldn’t last this long if he continued. Hailey shuddered at his tone and his comment. She tried to thrash as he pulled on the ropes. She flinched away as he grabbed her face and made her look at him in the eyes. The corners of her lips twitched upwards, as if she was going to smile. All she did was spit on his face. Well on his cheek to be more specific. “You’re a crazy bastard. You’re a psychopath.” Her stomach dropped suddenly and she had a very bad feeling that this wasn’t a very good idea. What was going through his twisted, sick mind right now? The feeling of doom was stronger than ever. He was going to kill her. Either kill her or break her, whichever one came first. Her mouth suddenly dry, Hailey had nothing better to do except to nod slowly. She slowly moved her hands to the ropes and frantically tried to pull them away. He was a fool to let her hands free. bite that lip, cause your tongue is a gun and your brain is the trigger, fire at will, oh i doubt that mouth could get any bigger, live in hypocrisy, those skies are always sunny, you're never gonna be a threat to anybody. you're lying, you're lying, you're gonna be the one left crying. open your eyes and see you are outnumbered, honeyYOU’RE NEVER GONNA BE A THREAT TO ANYBODY When he had followed Hailey, hunted her down, he hadn’t really known what he was going to do. All that he was sure of was that she was going to suffer. The instinct in him that made him want to torture those who he felt were unworthy had kicked in, not to mention the fact that she looked so fragile. But he’d had no real plan, it wasn’t very often he did. Everyone responded differently after all so it wasn’t like you could count on a routine. Besides, it was more fun to just see where his mind took him in the moment and play off the other person’s reactions. But now he was finally getting somewhere. He had the beginnings of an idea forming in his head. Maybe it wouldn’t work, maybe it wouldn’t be as good acted out as it was in his mind but it didn’t matter. If it wasn’t working he could switch to another idea. He had all night.
He simply stared at her as she called him a bastard. He’d heard it all before, honestly it was rather boring. Did people really think it offended him? Her words about the light side though, they grated at him, made him grit his teeth and bare them at her but he said nothing in return. She could have her moment of glory because it wouldn’t be too long before she was coming down from it. He got on with his plan, was able to sort everything out without many hitches. Obviously she realised there was no point in running. He gave the odd laugh at her reactions. Flinching when he slammed the chair down, that elicited a satisfied smirk from him. So easy to make her jump, he revelled in it. Another thrill washed over him as he cast the curse at her. She was screaming, all tied up, pitiful and screaming. He laughed at her darkly, a long, cold, cruel sound.
There was still some fight left in here though – he found that out soon enough. As he had bent down to grab her face, she spat at him. He growled at her, gnashing his teeth and then closing his eyes almost in an act of composure. Don’t snap, Lestrange. You kill her then she’s useless. He opened his eyes again, the snarl still clearly on his face. ”Bad move.” He said through gritted teeth. He grabbed a fistful of her robes and used them to wipe his cheek clean. ”Disgusting, filthy blood traitor.” He said angrily, pushing away from her. It was acts like this that made him despise them even more. Did they have no respect? Well then she’d have to be taught some. He watched her nod and his snarl increased rather than rescinded. ”Good girl.” He said smoothly. He allowed her to try and break herself free, it amused him to watch her struggle; her efforts were wasted anyway. She was too weak from the torture, too weak anyway. Rod had made sure the knots were good and tight.
Instead of reprimanding her for her attempted escape, he retrieved the rubbish bin from the corner of the room and placed it to the right hand side of Hailey, about a foot away. He then cast the incendio spell so that flames erupted inside the bin dancing upwards elegantly. He watched the fire for a few moments, captivated by it. But he soon shook himself from his reverie and stepped back in front of Hailey. He grabbed her hands so as to stop her from fiddling with the ropes and yanked them roughly above her head. Rod straddled her, he was tall enough so that his legs wrapped around the hind legs of the chair, fixing her in position and jamming her left arm to her side with his own arm. ”Stop struggling.” He released her right hand for a second to slap her cheek. Now they were even. He sat still for a moment, knowing that she hated him near her and especially hated him touching her, this was perfect.
"Say you're sorry, Thomas. Say you're sorry or your hand meets the fire." Rod regained a hold of her right hand and pulled her arms upwards again, holding it at a tight angle. ”Now, let’s start with an easy question.” He was talking pleasantly again now, knowing that the sudden switch in his emotions generally freaked people out, not to mention it showed he was taking utter enjoyment from the situation at hand. ”Which side do you support? The light or the dark?”

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- The only thought that was passing through Hailey’s mind was that she should not have left the Ravenclaw table. She should have just stayed there until the rest of her housemates were finished. But really, she wanted to do something other than staring at her plate of food throughout dinner. She just had to slow down by the Slytherin table to see a glimpse of her sister. When Reila was surrounded by a group she considered to be friends, Hailey knew that she was alright. The two sisters looked out for each other even at home. The brown haired girl was limp in her chair as she was staring at Rodolphus quietly. She was biting down on the inside of her lower lip, considering her next move. Hailey knew that she would wait and see what the seventh year Slytherin would do next. She considered it a very good thing that Marcus had not followed Rodolphus. Hailey made a mental note not to be alone with those two ever again. Who knew if she would be able to get out alive.
She simply said nothing as he bared his teeth at her. The Ravenclaw knew that she was getting under his skin by supporting the light side. Good, she thought with satisfaction. She winced as he laughed at her and tried to pull away as he grabbed a fistful of her robes. Hailey couldn’t help but to wonder what he would do to her now. Her imagination was running wild for a few minutes as she saw him wiping the spit from his cheek. She quirked an eyebrow at him as he called her a blood traitor. She was used to being called that by now it didn’t bother her. “Next time I’ll aim it somewhere else,” Hailey told him simply. “I’m used to being called a blood traitor it doesn’t bother me.” Try calling me something else, she wanted to say but quickly bit down on the inside of her cheeks to stop herself. He would do exactly that so why bother telling him. It had taken a toll on her body, the torture. Adding to the fact that she barely even touched her plate at dinner made her stomach rumble a bit. She winced again as she tried not to think of food or anything related to it.
Hailey watched him wearily as he placed the bin to her right and wondered what on earth he was doing to do. “Have you lost your mind?” It came out as a croak. Her voice was starting to get scratchy from screaming. Her eyes flew wide open as she watched the flames starting to rise from the bin. Her breathing increased as she started to shake. She winced as he grabbed her hands and she tried to struggle even more. Hailey cried out as he slapped her. “Get….get off me!” She tried to shrink back even more as the chair would allow her. She hated him touching her. “Please! Don’t rape me!” Her breathing increased even more to the point where she thought she would hyperventilate again as he straddled her. “You sick bastard.” Her eyes widen slightly as she cried out again in pain. This time it was because he was holding her arm at a really tight angle. “Never. I would never say sorry for something that I had done to you!” Hailey spat at him again. It landed on his cheek again as she spat at him for the third time, aiming for his robes. It was really the only thing that she could do right now.
Her arms were in his grip and her legs were painfully tied to the chair. The fifteen year old raised an eyebrow at him as he asked her what side she supported. That was an easy question indeed. “It would always be the light side no matter what happens.” She told him in an almost stern voice. “Nothing you can do or say would make me revert back. And besides, which side would protect me when the world is in danger? Certainly not the dark because there’s zealots like you who believe that only purebloods should be in charge. The light has done more for me than the dark had ever done.” There was a blazing fire in her eyes as she looked at him. “Now. GET OFF ME!” Her voice had risen to a shriek as she glared at him. “I will report you. They will believe me and then you get thrown out of Hogwarts. I would never get to see you again. I can go with my life as planned to get a job at St. Mungo’s.” Hailey quickly shut her mouth. Perhaps she had said to much. [/blockquote] Tagged!? Rodolphus Words!? 791 Notes!? Mwhaaaa. bite that lip, cause your tongue is a gun and your brain is the trigger, fire at will, oh i doubt that mouth could get any bigger, live in hypocrisy, those skies are always sunny, you're never gonna be a threat to anybody. you're lying, you're lying, you're gonna be the one left crying. open your eyes and see you are outnumbered, honeyYOU’RE NEVER GONNA BE A THREAT TO ANYBODY Oh he was getting so bored with her voice. Rattling on and on at him. Despite the croakiness to it, her tone was still defiant. She wasn’t learning. Well Rodolphus you’ll just have to try harder won’t you. Break her. It hardened his resolve. As did the fact that he was fuming now. He couldn’t quite believe her audacity. She obviously didn’t have any respect. One day, Rod would show her properly, one day when the Death Eaters were in charge and he was out of this blasted school and in the real world fighting for a real cause. Then he’d come back and he’d make her life a constant misery. He’d make sure every word she spoke would come back to haunt her. He would make her rue the day she ever decided to talk back to Rodolphus Lestrange. He would make her pay.
”For the last effing time, I’m not going to rape you.” He realised that actually he hadn’t told her that yet but it didn’t matter, the point was still there: he was fed up of hearing her whinge. Once again he grabbed a hold of her face, crushing her jaw tightly in his grip and glaring spitefully into her brown eyes with his hazel. ”But if you don’t stop moaning I’m going to find Peterson and I’ll have him finish the job he didn’t quite get around to completing last time, you hear me?” He smirked, loving the look of absolute fear those words brought to her face. That was what he had to do to shut her up, threaten her with Peterson. He chuckled at her as she swore at him and mimicking her voice he said, ”I’m used to being called a bastard it doesn’t bother me.” He was impatient to get onto business now. The best way to stop her talking was to get her screaming. She hadn’t been this talkative under the cruciatus curse. So it was on with proceedings.
Or so he had thought. Apparently Hailey didn’t want to play by the rules. He snarled at her again, his right hand itching to make contact with her cheek again. It was still stinging slightly from the slap. ”Are you an animal?” He gritted his teeth together, sneering at her. He was asking for a comeback there. He could already hear her voice telling him that he was the animal. Well he wasn’t spitting at people. Disgusting, filthy habit and it should have been way beneath a young pureblood lady. Yet more proof that Hailey was not worth that title. And it was going to rebound on her because now that his hands were occupied with holding her down it meant he had to move his face to her robes, wiping her saliva on her chest.
And now she was back to ranting about the light side again. But she’d let slip a vital piece of information. She was St. Mungo’s bound, eh? Well then Rod would most definitely find her eventually. He let her see that that information had been stored away in his brain for future use. ”Yes it would so difficult for me to track you down at St. Mungo’s.” He drawled. ”The place is so big.” His words were laced heavily with sarcasm. But his temperament didn’t last long. Her former words hadn’t gone unnoticed and his eyes were now dark with rage. ”Wrong answer.” He said it brightly and yanked her arm downwards, his grip on her elbow now so that her arm was straight, her fingers making contact with the tips of the flames.
”Every time I put your hand into the fire, the temperature will rise.” He explained, he pulled her arm upwards again and then pushed it back into the flames. ”You see? Hotter. So let’s try again.” He kept her hand in the flames as he spoke this time deciding that if he heard what he wanted to hear, he’d give her relief. ”Which side is better, light or dark? And say that you’re sorry.” It was beginning to be a struggle to keep her other arm still and so carefully he aimed his wand and more ropes wrapped themselves around her other arm, tying it to the back of the chair. Now his other hand was free to use his wand. A strong combination of fire and magic would break her soon enough. ”I want to hear you say it.” His teeth were gritted again, this time in heady anticipation rather than rage.

------------------------------You don't have to feel like a waste of space 'Cause baby you're a firework come on show them what you're worth----------------------------- Hailey winced as he grabbed her face and stared straight into his eyes. Her brown eyes were wide with terror at his words. There left little room to doubt that he would find Marcus. She knew that he would do the same thing. Rodolphus was convincing, perhaps to convincing. She slowly nodded, shaking with fear. She couldn’t speak. She couldn’t find her voice to say anything. The Ravenclaw stared at her tormentor. Her eyes were staring to show her emotions as her mind started to run wild with imagination again. She might have to be on her best behavior and made a mental note never to complain about that again. Not unless she wanted to be alone with both Rodolphus and Marcus. That in itself was asking, not for trouble, but to break her completely. Who knew what the two Slytherin boys would do to her? The question alone sent shivers down her spine. She didn’t want to dwell on that lovely thought. Hailey tried to think of something else, something pleasant. The pain as Rodolphus was crushing her jaw made that unlikely. Highly unlikely. Her eyes were watering as she wished that he would let go of it. At least to find some type of relief. She could feel something inside of her slowly breaking and she feared that his goal for the night might be coming sooner than she realized it.
No, she thought firmly, yet panicking. I’m not breaking down. Not yet. Hailey flinched at his mocking tone. “It bears repeating that you’re still a sick bastard.” There was still venom in her voice. She would continue to fight back until she had no spirit left in her. She could feel her cheek stinging from the slap and she wondered idly when this one would heal up. This was an odd thought to have when one is under torture. Hailey could not help but to raise an eyebrow at him when he snarled at her asking if she was an animal. “I should be the one to ask you that.” She hissed back at him. “You’re the one whose an animal for tying me up and torturing me. You should really let me go.” She was going to get it for that one. Hailey just knew it. She cringed away from him as he wiped the spit on her chest. “Stop touching me. LET ME GO!” She had lost track of how much she had repeated that sentence. Hailey hated him near her. She hated him straddling her like this. If she had a choice she would be struggling widely and fighting his every touch. The brown haired girl stretched her head out and did something that she knew she would regret. Hailey quickly bit down hard on his right arm. She tried to sink her teeth in even further, hoping to draw blood out.
She withdrew her teeth, keeping an eye on the bite mark. Even if it was just a few droplets of blood she would be alright with that. “Indeed. Looks like this would be our last encounter.” Her words, like his, were also filled with sarcasm. “I’ll be doing something with my life unlike you. I’ll be trying to make a living in this world.” Her eyes flew wide open in terror as she watched him pull her hand into the flames. She cried out and wriggled, trying to free her hand from his grip, knowing that it would be useless. She winced as the flames licked her fingers. There was relief for a few seconds before he pulled it back in. A scream ripped itself free from her throat. Hailey was shaking with fear as she still tried to pull it away without success. “The light,” her voice came out as a strangled scream. She watched him wearily as he pointed his wand at her arm and ropes came out, tightening themselves around her other arm at a painful angle. Tears were starting to drip down her cheeks at the pain of everything. She wanted it to end. “I’m…..I’m sorry!” She was still shaking as she raised her head to stare up into his eyes. “Okay? I’M SORRY!”
The reply came out as a shriek. She turned her attention to the flames. She still had the nerve to ask him, “I won’t have any burn marks from this would I? It would be gone with healing spells?” Hailey felt a little bit of hope rising in her. She knew better than to hope in front of him. The fifteen year old turned to stare at him in the eyes. “I’ll report you to McGonagall or Dumbledore. They’ll see the burn marks on my hands and they’ll kick you out of the school. You’ll be out of my life.” The girl sounded so sure of herself. She sounded so sure that her words would come true that she didn’t even stop to think of other possibilities. Hailey said nothing as she stared up at him in the eyes, her gaze never moving and the pain from the fire seemed to be forgotten. [/blockquote] Tagged!?
